Bojangle's is a must have when you come down to Kentucky. I was visiting my grandmother in Georgetown KY and my boyfriend pointed out Bo's while on our way back to Lex. I got some chicken tenders with some Mac and cheese as a side and I was pretty satisfied. The taste wasn't greasy nor overly salty. The crunch was firm and light. I also got some berry Bo biscuits and they tasted like scones. Their service and staff were quick and polite. The Ambiance was about the same for any fast food chicken place. The service was quick, but the chicken biscuit was dry and tasteless. The biscuit was also greasy. When I go to Birmingham to have breakfast the lines are extremely long and I don't have time to wait. Maybe I should have known this location in Georgetown was completely empty. I won't be back. Love me some Bojangles! I've always been a fan of Bojangles since I was a kid. It was worth driving an hour away to hit the drive thru to have a family meal and get out of the house. I've been to this location before and gave it a 3* but have moved it up to 4* today. The food was all fresh and tasted amazing. Maybe it's because with COVID-19 we don't get out much right now and everything dinning our taste great ‍. However, the food and experience was better this time then the last visit. The staff was friendly, everyone inside was wearing gloves and masks and reassured our safety during the pandemic. Highly recommend getting the Cajun filet biscuit with egg and cheese added! Also, don't skip out on bo-rounds and a sweet tea. The sweet tea is not you northern sweet tea but southern sugary goodness style. Can't wait to go back soon. read more

I am as passionate about Bojangles as some people are about Jesus. But I am convinced there is a very correct way to do this restaurant. Bojangles does a few things incredibly well. Their bone in fried chicken is by far my favorite fried chicken.  The spices are perfect. Bojangles also features some really excellent sides. They have a very flavorful mac & cheese and some delicious seasoned fries. But the main attraction here is the dirty rice. Get the dirty rice and thank me later. It's the best. In the spirit of fairness, I should point out some things that Bojangles is just OK at. Their chicken biscuits and sausage biscuits are just OK. There are much better places to get either of those things. In addition, their chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches are just not that impressive. You can also get those things much better at different restaurants. I bet you can guess where. Just go back to the first paragraph of this review. Ive seen some negative reviews, but we've never had any issues with this location; it has always been clean, fresh and sides. Besides, everyone should know that people tend to get screwed more by going through any restaurant's drive thru. For those that haven't worked at a fast food restaurant; all drive thrus are timed to get the order processed, and out the window to the customer. So, yeah, mistakes can, and do happen all the time. I almost forgot, I checked out most of the condiments like their honey, and it's actually real honey. Most restaurants are using honey that is actually honey flavored high fructose corn syrup. No thanks, HFCS is 200x sweeter than sugar, which is a huge negative when it comes to tooth decay. Plus, there are articles linking it to cancer growth. Picked up 2 - 8 piece chicken and biscuits yesterday here in Georgetown one for the family I unknowingly gave Covid and the other for us as we ended quarantine. In both boxes the thighs were not cooked through and were bloody. Not a fan of Bojangles. Their food is OK. I've had the opportunity to try chicken and fries in the past -- it's OK. Yesterday, I had a fish sandwich with a side of the dirty rice and wasn't too impressed. I was actually eager to finish the fish sandwich so I could be done with it, if that makes sense. There are so many other options in town that appeal to me more than Bojangles. I do not crave Bojangles. At all. I do not know how this place making money and staying in business. Their food and chicken is great. The personnel is so sad. Most of the time they are out of chicken but it's so good it keeps bringing me back and I don't know why I do this. Today arrived at 1050 to get a box a chicken to go. What I got through the drive through is they can't serve chicken until 11. The food is awesome if u get it made FRESH! The reason I am only giving it 2 stars is because of one manager there. Her name is Brianna and she is RUDE AS HELL! It's HER employees that don't know what they're doing. They have screwed my order up several times from not dropping my chicken fresh to not giving me my full order. I have to drive from Lexington to Georgetown to get Bojangles and I am STUCK on their chicken so I have made several trips! So YES! I am going to call and complain EVERYTIME they screw my order up. It's not like I can just go right down the street to get Bojangles. I have to drive at least 20 minutes both ways. Thing is if u have to call them and complain to Brianna, she refuses to make it right. It's not MY fault that they hire a bunch of young kids nor is it my fault that their crew can't get it right. Not only is she rude and tells u that she isn't going to make it right but she also tells u that she will no longer fill ur order meaning u are NOT welcome back. She makes it out to be MY fault. Another thing is, if SHE was a GOOD MANAGER, SHE would make sure it's RIGHT before it is served. ESPECIALLY if u ask for it to be FRESH!!!!! I said no a large Pepsi (which my receipt ALSO stated) so now I'm in the drive thru with a medium AND a large tea, so he goes back for a THIRD time and FINALLY gets it right with a large Pepsi! So, my point is, HOW WAS THAT MY FAULT???? I would recommend Bojangles BUT ALWAYS check ur food BEFORE u leave and NEVER complain to Brianna, it's useless just like she is. Went to breakfast at Bojangos in Georgetown, KY. It was Friday around 0915 on April 28th, 2017 and there was one other costumer there. I ordered biscuits and gravy with hash rounds. The meal was very good. The place was clean and music played in the seating area. The employees were friendly and my meal came quickly. The hash rounds were original and tasty. There are several good places to go for breakfast but I will try this restaurant again. PS- I hear their Blueberry Biscuits are delicious and plan to try them on my next visit. Cost was 10.99 for bac/egg/chz combo meal, regular coffee, 1 gravy biscuit, and a gravy biscuit combo meal. Not a bad price for what we purchased. Worth a visit. Jim read more

I have been to Bojangles several times and sometimes get burned other things are great. Mac n cheese is the best. The grilled pork chop biscuit is only sessional but has nice spice and flavor, great for breakfast. The Bo rounds are hash brown biscuits silver dollar size, they have a slight onion flavor that better than other fast food hash browns. The chicken is usually good. I ordered 3 Country Ham and Egg Biscuits and 2 Sausage and Eggs Biscuits. It was around 10:00 am Wednesday. I live in Lexington and got them in Georgetown. Because Lexington doesn't have a Bojangle's. I was so disapointed when I got home to find out that my ham and egg biscuits didn't have eggs on them. And the ham and biscuits were crunchy. Seemed like they were sitting around for awhile. I love eating at Bojangle's. It's one of my favorite places to eat. But not that time. As of now the newest chicken franchise out here in the area. Of course lines are long which is typical, staff was friendly despite the busy lunch rush when I went. I got the 2 piece chicken dinner with Cajun rice and coleslaw which also comes with a biscuit. Chicken- delicious! But my pieces were very tiny so I would hope that is not the trend for future meals. Also no other option for chicken such as KFC or Lees there is a "spicy"option or original recipe. It's just all one type of fried chicken. Biscuit- good! Coleslaw- good! Cajun rice - pretty salty tasting. A little bit too much Cajun seasoning. I would try again in the future to see if that is a trend all of the time. Too salty for my liking to have all the time. Worst service of any Bojangles we've ever been to. No one on the front to prep/deliver food. The whole lobby was sitting, waiting for their meals when we sat down, and everyone didn't get served for 15-20 minutes after we arrived. One guest eventually asked for their money back. So I went through the drive thru last week in attempt to see what all the rage is about. My boyfriend always raves about their breakfast I figured why not. Spent over 30 min in the drive thru to begin with. Finally I got our order to take home. I ordered the chicken and rice bowl. Sadly nothing magical happened and I was very disappointed. The food was fresh from the hotness but the chicken was slimy and grissled (spelling). The beans were decent but over salty and overspiced. Normally I never eat fast food or review large corporate chains. However, I had to put my wonderful experience out in the public eye. This establishment was without a doubt one of the cleanest, friendliest, and well ran restaurant I have had the pleasure of stopping by regardless of size. I have to commend one of their employees named Mike. This gentleman was perfect in his guest service. He spoke clearly was well groomed and overall outstanding at his craft. Management please take note. I will most definitely return as well pass the word. The food was wonderful and fresh as well. its sunday night. I had to work today and the temperature was super cold outside. got off work and went to purchase a family meal around 6pm this sunday. I was the only customer in the store. This place is great...a little slow but very courteous people, menu prices are not bad at all compared to some chicken joints in town...gotta say if your looking for a great chicken biscuit or a down home style meal either dinner or breakfast this would please you.
