    California chicken sandwich, edamame
    Lydia C.

Was lucky enough to attend the soft opening! Lots of lines and excitement for this place. Limited menu (burgers, sandwiches, salads), limited space (the dining room doesn't look that big from the outside). Took about 20 min for me to order and get my food, which wasn't bad, but I can see things being slower with milkshake orders. The grilled chicken was really good, avocado was not mushy, and the chicken was not dry. Edamame side was really flavorful and well cooked. Chicken tenders were crispy. Buffalo sauce was OK, not the favorite sauce. Fries were yummy. Strawberry lemonade was pretty good, but the original lemonade was even better. Only issue was that the lids didn't quite fit right, so half of the drinks spilled into my car.

    Real good burger

The food itself was really good, especially the burgers and chicken - no complaints from the kids there! But the overall experience could use some improvement. The place felt a bit messy, maybe because they just opened and are still training staff. I ended up with an extra drink (Coke instead of Dr. Pepper, not the worst mistake), but I had to go inside after using the drive-thru because there were eggs on my salad, my friend got the wrong burger, and my daughter's fruit cup was swapped for tots. Fries were old and cold, and the cookies had melted. That said, the burgers were solid, and I'm hopeful they'll work out the kinks once things settle in.

    Double cheeseburger with shoestring fries

8/29/25 I went to Jaggers with my husband because we wanted to try something new and I had seen a lot of foodie reviews about this spot. So We decided to go through the drive thru and ordered the double cheeseburger with fries and the sunrise burger. The sunrise burger was definitely the better choice since the egg and slice of ham gave it more flavor. The double cheeseburger was pretty underwhelming, tasted like it had no seasoning. It was not awful but it was not anything great either. Online I saw people saying it was like a mix between Chick fil A and Five Guys, but honestly both of those places are way better. I would not go out of my way to come back but it was worth trying once just for the experience. Hopefully they improve over time.

Ventured to the new Jaggers near Trader Joe's on opening weekend (Saturday around 7) and it was packed! I wanted to go in but there were no open parking spots so I took it as a sign that inside was crazy so I only have pics of outside. Drive thru was pretty quick. They have a double drive thru and people outside to expedite orders. I was surprised to see that making sandwiches or salads into a meal was only $3.99. The wildest part though? No upcharge for shakes to replace a regular drink! I ordered a little of everything for us: bacon cheeseburger as a meal with fries and a strawberry shake, Spicy crispy chicken sandwich, Crazy good cheeseburger as a meal with a Ghirardelli brownie shake, and 10 chicken tenders with all the sauces! Everything was decent--the bacon cheeseburger was a good size, tenders were juicy, shakes were thick but not too thick. And it was about $50 total. Overall I would go back but it wasn't the best meal I've ever had. Decent fast food option for Lexington; hope it stands out in a crowded market.

    Berry Fresh salad at Jaggers!

Ventured back into Jagger's for lunch this time and got the Berry market salad with a side of mac & cheese and a drink. Dare I say the salad is better than Chick-fil-A?

Jaggers just opened up, and the food didn't really impress me. I ordered the 4-piece chicken tenders, and one of them was just two tiny pieces of breaded chicken with a little chicken inside. My friend even gave me one of her tenders. The edamame were super salty. The service is a bit slow, but that's probably because it's a new place and everyone's excited about it. They even forgot to give us one of our meals, so we went back and they apologized and gave it to us! If you're in the mood for something new, I'd recommend trying it, but maybe not during the busiest meal hours.

This is a small fruit cup.

So the chicken sandwich was amazing. Stingy with a large order of fries. I don't know if it's really worth the cost.

By the time I left at 6:30 it was packed with a wait of ~10 people. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly. The menu seems very diverse with a lot of delicious sounding options. The beer menu is on the back with a QR code. As it was Burger Week, I went with their Signature Burger for $7 with a side of tots. The burger was a Spicy Pimento Burger with bacon jam, pickles, and lettuce. The burger was 4oz which was a great size to fill you up but not make you overly full. The burger was not overly seasoned and didn't have a ton of flavor, however the combination of toppings really enhanced the flavor and made it delicious. The tots were perfectly crisp and the Cajun seasoning really enhanced them nicely. All 4 of the beers in the flight were tasty but not overly powerful. Of the 4, the Tart and Tempered was the best as a light sour. I would recommend a visit and look forward to trying some other menu items.

Most of the seating is indoor inside of the Micher's Greenhouse there, so even if the weather hadn't of been nice it would have been a great time. There was great live music as well. We decided to get a bavarian pretzel to split, as well as her getting their raspberry crepe while I decided on their lemon curd crepe. Everything we had to eat was fantastic. Everything else I saw on the menu sounded delicious. Service was also quick and fantastic. The kitchen was pumping out food quick and the wait staff had it out to us as soon as possible. I'll always recommend this as a nice date spot for others.

Weird experience. The food is fine, healthy-ish, but nothing to write home about. My husband's…read morenoodle salad was my favorite, followed by my cauliflower salad. I thought the beet & giant bean salad was meh, the pieces are cut huge so you really get about 4 beans and 6 pieces of beet. The grilled cheese is actually half a grilled cheese, which didn't have much cheese on it, and tasted faintly of horseradish. I couldn't finish mine. The hummus was good, you just don't get very much. Focaccia was alright, would have been better warmed. We ordered a Bavarian pretzel plate, which also came out room temp. I think that's a first for me at a restaurant. The focaccia, ok, it's for dipping and that's easier when it isn't so soft. But the pretzel? Like did it just get pulled out of a bag and tossed on the plate? I can't speak to the cheese because I tried it with mustard. There was so much horseradish in the mustard it almost blew my head off. I'm sure some people love that but I'm not one of them. Speaking of blowing up, a woman on a laptop had a kid that was goofing off around her table. He laid down on the bench and started sweeping rocks at some old lady. The old lady turns around to tell him to stop and the mom lost it on her. Like screeching. Idk, I get it to a certain extent but if you're trusting the world to watch your kid while you work, don't be surprised when the world asks your kid to not throw rocks at them. Then when I bussed my table (which I thought was what we are supposed to do here), there's a single bus tub to the right of the ordering window. To get there, I cut across the line sideways and not one but several people are giving side-eye because they had to *gasp* make way for someone to take their plates up. That's also where the bathroom is, so good luck if you sit to the left of the line, because apparently the other patrons expect you to walk through a maze of tables behind the line to get to the far side of the cafe. Summary: the food is fine, but not worth the rest of the experience. It's surprisingly unorganized and while it is beautiful, you can get better health food at the co-op or Whole Foods. The clientele on a Thursday morning was so uppity I would never come back.

This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.
