I did an online order to pick up when I saw it was on the route to our destination and the only thing I can complain about is that we had to big bags with food... including potato salad and baked beans and there was no type or fork or spoon in either of the bags. Or any napkins. Being that they stapled the bags together, i thought they would have at least put some eating utensils in the bag.... But that's okay... we just didn't eat it because we were in a roadtrip and didn't notice until we were back on the highway... it looked delicious... The dark meat chicken and the tenders were cooked to perfection... the wings on the other hand were VERY overcooked. The meat was really hard. The bbq sandwich was a little too sweet for me. Although i prefer sweet bbq over the vinegar taste, this was too sweet for me... but a good flavor. The bathroom was very clean. The dining area was very clean also. Customer service, I'll give like a 7/10. I stood there for a little while and neither of the two guys working the front greeted me or even acknowledged and I was standing there. When the young man who was packing the orders, I think he may have been a manager or supervisor because he had on a white button up shirt with a tie saw me standing there for a little while, he came over and greeted me and helped me get my order. Overall a decent experience... Food was hot and fresh. We would go back.

We've been here during the evening only, so maybe it's just the evening shift workers. When eating inside, the tables have been dirty and the high chairs sticky and dirty. I have had to clean our area and the high chair each time. Then they bring us cold food and we end up having to take it back to request fresh food. We normally don't have this issue at other Smithfield's, so I don't know what's going on at this location. I love their food, so I recommend this restaurant. Hopefully you have a better experience.

The sweet tea is southern pucker sweet & perfect!! There's malt vinegar on the table for collards, and the NC vinegar based BBQ sauce was very good. However, the chopped pork BBQ did t really need any help, it was just as good on its own and not mushy. I even enjoyed the yellow coleslaw, it's a mustard & vinegar base and tasty. The Brunswick stew could have been heat hotter, but it had a decent taste with plenty of meat & veggies. I would definitely drive out of my way again to share Parker's with my 15yr old who missed this road trip.

The "bleu cheese" dressing was the consistency of milk with cheese chunks. 5 adults and 5 bad meals in one trip. It looked gross. It tasted worse. That red paste tasted like what I would imagine a pile of dirty pocket change would. There was nothing positive and nobody was able to eat their food. We were driving and it wasn't worth going back. This is my first 1 star and it would be zero if that was an option.

We ordered a few items to get taste of what they had to offer: Philly Cheesesteak Double Cheeseburger Hot Dog Fried Chicken Fries, Fried Okra, and Potato Wedges Those fried okra were the TRUTH! Fried perfectly - could eat those over having the fries or wedges any day. The burger was okay, very thick but a little overcooked for my liking. The hot dogs taste like they were deep fried. I know a lot of people don't like it that way - but wanted to make note of it. It was good overall. The fried chicken was hot, juicy, and very crispy. The seasoning was a little salty for my liking but the chicken under it was good. Now that cheesesteak is where it is! Good seasoning on the meat, the bread was tender, and the veggies cooked good.

Well, The Ol' Mangaretta had a craving for potato wedges, and on pure chance, searched and ordered from the first restaurant with wedges on the menu. Enter Chicken 2 Go. Wedges with a vengeance, avenging Mang's hunger! Add to those wedges a plethora of mains and sides that my two dining companions and I ordered: crisp, juicy fried chicken (though I wouldn't have minded a few more herbs in the flour); cheesy good chicken cheesesteak; so-so chicken fried rice; yummy collard greens; savory, crunchy, yet pillowy hush puppies; average onion rings; and meh mac and cheese. But those we'll-seasoned wedges were all my dreams hoped they'd be. So, four stars for delicious chicken, cheesesteak, greens, hush puppies, and craveable wedges that were even more tantalizing the next day after a trip through the air fryer. Minus one star for a few lackluster sides. Wedge ya just try Chicken 2 Go already?
