Every time I visit NC, I gotta have my bo' rounds from Bojangles. We usually do drive through, but this time we decided to go into the store to see what else is on the menu. We stopped by just after 10:30 on a Saturday and it was empty, including the drive-thru line. We ordered a bunch of breakfast sandwiches, and two picnic-sized Bojangles. I was disappointed when I opened them up to find that they were both only half-full. What a jip! I had the cajun chicken biscuit, which was pretty good. It's nice when you dip it in a side of their sausage gravy. We also got their grits to try, which I didn't care for. The texture was off and it was just swimming in butter. Not sure if the skimpy bo'rounds are a regular occurrence here, but just be sure to check em before you leave! read more

The place was clean and the staff was pleasant. The atmosphere is okay. It's kind of dated inside and had a bit of an old smell. I wish the menue had more items. They pretty much only have different versions of fried chicken. We had a chicken sandwich, which only seemed to have pickles and chicken and mayo. Kind of dry and not much flavor wish they had different sauces or something. However, for a quick cheap bite, it was a pretty nice option. Food is great. The staff is great and courteous and now they finally have EMPLOYEES!! Wait time is way down now, except when you have special requests and they're pretty good about getting it out to you as fast and the food is always fresh. I know they were having issues with staffing before but as you know it's difficult finding people in Preston who want to work service industry whose first language is English. I applaud how nice and inviting their staff is. I don't feel like a burden when I go in as a customer like I do in other local fast food restaurants. They really treat you well here including knowing the favorite menu items of the regulars!! And John and the morning crew really go out of their way to make sure that you leave with a smile. read more

Each time I've gone here I've seen the owner (maybe manager?) . He has always gone above and beyond, even occasionally treating my kids to a small drink. He is very pleasant and welcoming. The food is always hot and fresh, and I've never had to wait long. I know some of the critical reviews are from a while ago, so maybe give them another chance if you're looking for some fried chicken in the area. read more

Nice staff, Supreme supremes, Eating here currently at 8:56 pm on 6/20/2024. These are the best supremes ever! Ordered pinto beans for the side which are amazing and some honey mixed with pepper packets to dip the supremea omg lol. Talk about a game changer. And hey lets be forreal who really likes a cold biscuit, Absolutely no one that I know ! If you are lucky to have a hot fresh biscuit like me , you'll be satisfied across the board also. Ordered indoor a takeout tailgate order. Was served by the manager and the order was prompt and the chicken was crunchy and juicy but not greasy. Only suggested improvement is for the biscuits to made more fluffy and crumbly because every biscuit in our tailgate order was dense as if eating a bread roll instead of a buttermilk biscuit. read more

Worst experience ever. About an hour ago I went to the drive through and place an order for a 4 piece chicken supreme dinner. After placing my order and waiting in the drive through line for over 25 minutes. I finally got to the drive through window. But instead of getting my order I was told they were closed and did not have any food. I asked why did they take my order they did answer. They just repeated that they were closed. read more

We got trapped between two trucks and couldn't pull out of the line and had to wait almost 50 MINUTES, as in almost an HOUR, in the drive-through line. After waiting so long we just said screw it the food will probably be fresh if it's taking this long. After pulling up to the order box we had to yell "hello" into the speaker system after sitting there for almost 5 minutes with nothing. This location only serves fries and Bo-rounds and NO other sides offered. After waiting almost an hour, when we got our food, we pulled out everything we ordered to check to see if it was right. The drive through women was watching us check our food and immediately called out and let us know she didn't add something so we had to sit there for another few minutes while she finished up the order. Our food was also cold. Bojangles on a good day is not even worth getting trapped in a line and waiting almost an hour for. Never had such a terrible experience with a fast food restaurant. Seriously BoJangles? $ 17.18 for an 8-piece chicken box w/ biscuits and a so-called "large" order of fries ? Someone thinks waaaaaay too highly of their mediocre chicken. And I call it mediocre because unless it is Hot and Fresh... it becomes mediocre! Ours was room temperature after a short, 4-minute drive home. And the large order of Fries; well, look at the photo. (THESE WERE $3.19 !!!) Now, I realize that the cost of things have gone up.. always have - always will. But I can still get a nice Rotisserie Chicken at most grocery stores for $4.99 - $7.99. Is the Bojangles worth $6-9 more? Methinks not.. especially for stale food and unfilled boxes! Hope you enjoy my money.. it's the last you'll see from me! read more

This is by far one of the slowest and most unorganized Bojangles I have ever been to. Boj is by far my favorite fast food restaurant and I used to live 2 min from this location and it used to be much better. With how many food options are around this location, choose almost anything else other than this Bojangles. read more

Literally been out of their ranch for my last 3 visits here. Not to mention the service is slow and the seasoning on the fries is skimpy.

I only go to this location because it's right beside my apartment, but this location does not understand Southern food. Cheese biscuits should not taste like cheez-its and unless I ask them to make me a fresh one, I always end up with a crunchy cheese biscuit. Also, everyone knows the reason you get the fries here is because of the seasoning salt. So it would be awesome if they would put enough on them so that you could actually taste the seasoning AND the salt. Also a lot of the times the fries are sad and cold. Oh yeah I usually get half unsweetened tea, but here I can just get regular sweet tea because they don't put enough sugar in their tea either. I try not to eat junk/fast food often but when I do get it I would actually like to enjoy it. Im still sticking with 3 stars because I know Bojangles' true potential to be delicious when prepared correctly. read more

Consistently fresh and delicious. Best biscuits in the area bar none. Clean. Super fast. I can always count on the same high quality every visit which I love. And their biscuits. I can't say enough. The fried chicken is some of the best I've ever had. Update 1/28/16 I am revising my review. I'm not sure what has happened but the last two times my chicken has been inedible. Tough. Rubbery. And the biscuits have lost their flavor and are undercooked and fall apart in your hands. I'm taking a break from here until they can figure out what is going on with their cooking. read more

This is my favorite Bojangles' to go to when I go back home. I was really excited when this Bojangles' opened because it was super close to my house. Yay for getting yummy fried chicken and sweet tea in 5 minutes :) Nevertheless, this Bojangles' does not dissapoint. The food is always delicious and hot and the service there is the best. Even though it's a fast food restaurant, the workers go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Once an employee came over to refill our iced teas (without us asking) and another time they offered to throw all of our trash away. Basically if you crave Bojangles' in this area, come here! You will leave feeling happy and full (if a litle bit bloated because fried food can do that). read more

Ugh. I don't usually rate large chains, but I guess I'll rate more based upon service.. After hearing about Bojangles from my southern friends, I went with a pro and was fairly happy with my food the first time. I personally prefer KFC for their seasonings, but Bojangles did seem to have "fresher"/better chicken. I was craving Bojangles, so I went by myself this second time, and was greeted with terrible service - much worse than any McDonald's I've been to... I was clearly a little new to the menu and granted, must have looked like a moron, but they essentially gave me sweet iced tea (which I hate - and no one even bothered asking for my beverage of choice) and fries (mainly because the way it was asked to me made me think that it was the only choice for that meal combo). I would understand if they were extremely busy, but the kicker is that they weren't. It may be fast food where people could say it's to be expected or that I need to be assertive, but sorry, I still expect common decency. And I will try to refrain from using the race card here... Anyways, the 4 piece meal was a bit cold and bland, so I don't feel particularly forgiving. The restaurant itself is at least clean and tidy. Oh, did I mention the service is fast? read more

I love bojangles but this one has gone downhill so fast. The service is often slow and recently every time I go the fries are terrible. This location is next to a PDQ, Chick-Fil-A, and Smithfield's. With other options nearby, I will be going elsewhere for awhile. I hear they're opening one down 55 so hopefully that will have different ownership/management. read more

This morning the shift was so slow and the one guy working behind the counter moved with the pace of a snail while there were like 10 people in line. They had no energy at all and they looked half asleep. I'm usually impressed with this location because there's one guy one of the managers that works here that usually has his crew on the spot and you get in and out in a super quick amount of time and he's really nice full energy he's really good at his job but this morning I was not impressed. read more

This is our "go-to" Bojangles location. Never had any problems at the drive-thru and employees seem friendly.

Do not order from here on postmates. They forgot more than half my order. When I called the restaurant about it, the guy asked if I wanted to come get it tonight or tomorrow. Obviously I ordered postmates for a reason. I continued to ask if someone could drop it off at the restaurant. He said he would personally deliver it to my house after they close. I said that would be great and that id give him some cash. So I gave him my phone number and my address, only 10 min until they close. Waited and waited and waited, nothing. Employee dropped my card under my car. Got out to get my card and the ground outside the drive thru window was covered in sause. I did not get a straw with my drink or sause with my chicken strips. They did not have enough boberry biscuits "I ordered 2". Given sweet tea instead of Pepsi. Over all the experience was far below average 1 out of 5. Would give a negative if possible. Every time we go through the drive through the girl can never s em to get the orders right!!! Last Sunday we order a supreme dinner, Cajun filet biscuit meal with half and half tea no ice, and one chicken breast!!! She left the breast out and gave us sweet tea with ice, no straws, no napkins, and missing biscuit from the supreme meal. Today we went and ordered 3 supreme dinners with fries sweet tea a no ice, half and half tea no ice, and a coke!! She handed the two teas to me and I said no ice she said oh you wanted that in both of them. No straws, no napkins, missing a biscuit, and missing a meal!!!! She never gave our credit card back to us and I had to keep asking her for it!!! Same Asian girl at te window and she can't seem to get her job correct!!!!!! This is the cleanest Bojangles' I've ever been to. The food is usually outstanding as this chain goes. The surrounding community is very safe, and they're open late so no worries if you need to grab a quick meal later in the evening. I'm from Texas and was in town for a wedding so this was my first Bojangles experience. I'm not going to lie, I was kind of intimidated by all the menu choices and how they put your order over the loudspeaker. But it was ridiculously fast service!
