Restaurant is bright. Floors are dirty and the tables are dirty with sauce, food amd used napkins . I waited at the counter a few minutes and they finally yelled you have to order from kiosk! (Even though there is no sign and there are plenty of people walking around) I then asked if I could still pay cash and they said yes but order on the kiosk first. I ordered, it took about 10 minutes to get the food. Then I checked my order- just the sauce was missing- he said you can get it over there ( a counter with sauces) but it was empty. After waiting several minutes for the attendant to be ready to take our order, when we got to our 4th and last person's order, the attendant interrupted us and said, "For an order this big we prefer you to come inside." We said, "But this is our last order." The attendant repeated himself and said it's to not hold up their drive through. This was 9 pm on a Sunday night; barely anyone was there! We continued, "Are you really not going to serve us?" He simply repeated the same thing, "For an order this big we prefer you come inside." (So yes, he was refusing us service). This Taco Bell location irritates me. I've lived in the area for several years, and the customer service and ability to provide what you paid for at this store is TERRIBLE and FRUSTRATING. Something was always incorrect with my order. When I was missing a taco, I would count my tacos to make sure they were all there. Another time, a family member requested a vegan option for her taco, and they made all of her tacos regular, reviewing the receipt to see if there was an issue with the order. I returned to the restaurant to request that the order be made; however, no one answered the drive thru and they were not closed. Yet they were, according to the person I spoke to when I drove around to the window. My nacho fries were cold the previous time I visited, and even though I counted the tacos and the amount of tacos was correct, the entire order was incorrect. I received someone else's order. When I called the restaurant to explain the situation, the manager took my name and advised me to come in and have my order redone. I stopped in for supper with my receipt identifying myself, and they would not compensate me for my food. This is the WORST Taco Bell I have ever been in. Manager and workers sitting in the corner while one person is in the kitchen and one works the drive through with 10 people standing in line. A lady asked where the manager was and he finally got up off his lazy butt to help. He could have cared less people had been waiting. People tried to request a refund and he couldn't figure out what to do and offered no apologies. Unless you have HOURS to wait around, do not come here. I am a patient person, and have worked many jobs in my life that I've had to deal with stress, short staffing, rushes, and abusive customers. I don't say this lightly, and really didn't want to say much at all but maybe this will help this store get the help it needs. The past couple times I've been to this Taco Bell have been pretty rough. Once, in the drive through, I took 35+ minutes to get my food that I'd placed an online order for. Somewhat understandable with staffing issues. The night times when business slows down are a better experience. But this last time I went, I had again placed an online order but had stepped inside to inform them I wasn't going to be in the drive through since I have issues with my AC when idling. There were multiple people standing near the counter, one who had just completed an order on the touch screen shortly after I walked in. Once I was able to get the attention of one of the workers bringing food to a waiting customer, I let him know I had placed an online order and would be waiting inside. Now based on my past experience, I expected a 30+ wait time. Overall I sat patiently for 52 minutes waiting for my food while other customers canceled orders or checked on theirs. The manager said she was basically the only one cooking food, but one of the couple times she came out, she checked on who was in order of triage. The customer I noticed completing an order as I walked in mentioned herself and me, and two other ladies who came after us also spoke up. Now as I mentioned before, I'm a patient person who doesn't abuse staff due to my own self entitlement. This character was not reflected by many of the other customers inside, and they ended up berating their way ahead of me in the time it took to get their food. It was after the 3rd time this happened that I decided why in the hell am I waiting 52 minutes for a moderately satiating $6 meal. I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and paid my check in that time. As soon as the 3rd individual got their food before I did, I canceled my order, drove down the street to another fast food place, and was eating my food - ALL WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF LEAVING TACO BELL. This location (and many staffing struggling businesses) needs to shut down until they have their staff in order, or get help from other local Taco Bells whose employees may want overtime.
