this place is terrible! worst seafood boil i've ever had, from the food to the service to the ambience it fails all around. the seafood is low quality and seems old? we ordered snow crab legs and the meat was so shrunken and flavorless that i felt like i was cracking open empty shells the whole time. i ordered the cajun flavor at a level 3 and it was a watery mess, barely delivering any flavor or heat. completely missing actual garlic it tasted like they dumped spices in water instead of butter, so none of the sauce clung to the crab meat. our waitress was very nice but we were the only people dining in the restaurant at the time and about 15 minutes after my husband and I received our food she came by to tell us they didn't have enough crab legs for the remaining 2 orders at our table. I wish she had told us this sooner, as we had to place a new order for my in-laws while we were almost done with our own food. strange that they were out of snow crab legs and dungeness crab so early in the evening and with so few customers. also the restaurant is freezing cold, dingy, and dark, which adds to the over all unpleasant dining experience. definitely skip this place! read more

Giving Boiling Boys 3 stars strictly for customer service -- the staff was friendly and quick, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food just didn't hit. The lobster and clams were overcooked and came out rubbery. The sauce was bland, no depth or kick to it at all. Was really hoping for better, but it just didn't live up to the hype for me. read more

Heads up - not an easy find! When you're in a big parking lot with warehouses, you're there! We were so excited to try this place and check out what the hype is all about!! Especially since they have 'Red Hook Lobster' in Brooklyn to compete with for us! Sean, our host and waiter (they are slow during lunch so he is the only waiter but it was great!) was super attentive and sweet! Thank you for all of your patience with us and accommodations! We really appreciated it! And the nice touch with the surprise birthday drink! The Boil is DELICIOUS!! Recommended for anyone! The $100 package was perfect and MORE than enough for 2, we took quite a bit home as leftovers! It is a big place, dim-ish lighting and very chill - they play a variety of American music, kind of gives off an American Restaurant Chain vibe but with personalized hospitality - it was perfect for a casual lunch date! read more

They offer made-to-order Louisiana-style and Mala seafood boils. We had the lobster, clams, mussels, and shrimp-everything was super fresh and tasted sweet and juicy. We tried level 2 spicy, and it was pretty hot but we loved it. Besides the seafood, the ramen noodles with the sauce were my favorite! You must try them! read more

It was late (9:30pm) and I was craving seafood boil. After doing a quick Yelp search, I came across Boiling Boys that had seafood boil and were open til 2am on a Saturday night! Once we arrived we parked in the available parking lot, walked right in and got seated at a booth. It was mostly empty inside but there were some people sitting at the bar drinking and watching sports. There were plenty of TV screens all around to watch any game that was on. After some deliberation my fiancé and I ordered 1.5lbs of Dungeness crab with Mala sauce Level 2 and 1lb of shrimp with Boys Cajun sauce Level 3. Each 1lb order automatically comes with corn and potato, but also comes with one extra side so we chose sausage. We put on our gloves and bibs then went to town. The seafood tasted very fresh, the sauces were DELICIOUS and were actually spicy. If you can't handle the heat then you should probably stick with Level 1. We both agreed the Boys Cajun was our favorite of the night but I would come back to try the other sauces. The garlic noodles were also on point. read more

Boiling Boys in Palisades Park, NJ. !! New Seafood Boil Restaurant Alert! @boilingboys.sb has fresh seafood and amazing sauce options but what makes this place special is that they serve the seafood boil on a platter rather than in a plastic bag. It was great to have full access to the lobster, clams, shrimp and snow crab legs. I also loved the cheese tteokbokki! It's a great place to party, for a date, a group of friends or watching the game! The service was amazing too our waiter was super knowledgeable about the menu and guided us! I loved it! **NEW BOIL RESTAURANT IN THE PAL PARK AREA** Tonight, 5/4, was the second day after their grand opening. I dined in from 8pm-10pm. It was pretty empty, but they just opened. This is a good spot for a casual seafood dinner with a full bar. They also offer some Korean options. The service was a 10/10! I loved the waitress. Unfortunately I forgot her name but she did have blonde highlights. She was super sweet, friendly, and attentive. She even gave mozzarella sticks on the house! I ordered... -Pina colada $15 - Perfect mix of coconut and pineapple. The bartender did not skip out on the alcohol. -snow crab legs (1 lb) and shrimp (1 lb) boil $55 - If you order boil, the seafood prices are MP per pound. You then choose your sauce and spice level. I chose the signature Boys Cajun sauce (mild). Each boil includes corn and potatoes. Any additional sides cost extra. I ordered garlic noodles and sausages. I enjoyed the sauce. It paired well with the seafood. Garlic noodles were well seasoned. The mozzarella sticks were crispy and cheesy. It wasn't the best boil I've ever had but I think it's up to par with other good boil restaurants I've tried. I would visit again! I hope the best for this new business and I believe they do have potential. read more

First I would never have guessed that there was a Cajun restaurant with Korean Flair there, because it looked like mostly warehouses in the area. The restaurant had a warehouse decor with looked unique, but works! We hung out at the bar for the happy hour menu. Patron shots for $7!!! Awesomeness!!! Plus other great special drinks. And we ordered some clams, oysters and the Family Boil package which was delicious! I'd definitely go back! Service was a bit slow in the beginning, but much better throughout the night! What an amazing dinner! We went here for dinner because we wanted seafood and it was close to home. The reviews were great so we decided to give a try. We were seated immediately as the place wasn't full since we were early. The server was outstanding providing a full service explanation of the menu and gave us suggestions which we gladly took. We ordered the family special boil which included so much food we couldn't finish it even though there were plenty of us. It included 2 whole lobsters, plenty of snow crab legs, lots of huge shrimp, clams, mussels, sausages, potato, corn, as well as a bunch of different sides all for $150.00 it was a steal! However it is a grand opening special that is being offered now. The price will go up soon, so you better hurry! The atmosphere was fantastic with some good music playing loud enough to hear it but not annoying loud. For those of you who enjoy a drink with dinner they make some great drinks too, and have a large assortment of beers, including craft beers. The place has a really nice industrial look to it with a large bar as well as numerous TVs. I will definitely go there again, without a doubt! An important note, use Apple Maps to get there. Google maps took me for a ride and I had a hard time finding the place. It is in the large complex just north of route 46 west entrance on Grand Ave. The old soap factory building for those of you who were around back in the 80's. read more

The food was good but there were a couple of strange things: for one, the vibe inside feels like a strange sports bar/seafood boil mix like it doesn't quite know what it is or wants to be. Also, the service also wasn't the best even though it wasn't busy inside at all. We asked for another round of drinks and our server completely forgot, we had to flag down a totally different person to remind them to bring the drinks. Overall it was a good meal though, the portions were fine and quality of the seafood was all quite high. read more

Delicious -- I hope they keep it that way! Had the Cajun seafood here and it was so good. The seafood was cooked just right, not soggy or rubbery. The Cajun sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming. One thing to note: I ordered spice level 2 and it was already really spicy for me. My friends felt the same. Level 2 tasted more like a 3. If you're sensitive to spice, I'd recommend starting with level 1 just to be safe. You can't order just half a pound. It has to be a full pound. We also had the nachos and oysters and they were good. I noticed they have a lunch buffet too. I haven't tried it yet but the sign says there's a 2 hour time limit. Overall, this place is great. I'll definitely be back soon! read more

This Korean cajun seafood spot offers AYCE & al la carte options. Their $29/pp lunch special AYCE seafood boil runs daily from 11am-5pm and it includes shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams & sides. The $59/pp option includes everything above and also whole lobster, dungeness crab, crab leg cluster, & lobster tail (1 limit of each). @boilingboys.sb is a sports bar/pub so they have many alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages on their menu. We tried 2 of their signature cocktails: Lychee Smash & Mango Piña Colada - would recommend both! In addition to their MASSIVE menu comprised of starters, salads, burgers, pasta & more, they also have many Korean tapas and dishes. Some include kimchi fried rice, spicy crab ramen, spicy rice cakes, chicken over rice & sooo much more! We got to try their chicken over rice and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was...seriously a 10/10 . (P.S.) you can get $1 oysters at the bar everyday! (6 minimum) read more

I love seafood boils and couldn't wait to try this new spot. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in and was greeted. I sat and was served by the manager. He was super nice! I had the vodka club drink, and it was good. I then had a few dishes. I had the vegetable dumplings, which was good. I then had the boil that included the lobster, crab legs, mussels, shrimp, noodles, corn, and potatoes with a spicy sauce. The sauce was so good with the boil. I loved the ease of opening the crab. I just wish the lobster and shrimp were marinated a little more. The corn was the best! The last thing I had was the cod, which was fried golden and good. I had a really good experience! read more

Finally got a chance to come here with a couple of friends after their soft opening. For the main we ordered 1 lb. shrimp boil with lemon garlic sauce and the 2 lbs. snow crab with Cajun sauce with a side of garlic noodles. The seafood was fresh as it should be! The crabs were full of meat and came out in one solid piece. For dessert we had the funnel fries. Super soft on the inside and a nice crunch on the outside. The servers were friendly and helpful in making recommendations. They came to our table several times checking up on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The location is pretty big. Much bigger than the other seafood boil places in the area so if you have a large group this place is ideal. Didn't get a chance to take pictures after the initial plate because of the gloves. Definitely recommend if you're into seafood. read more

I was so excited to try seafood boil for the first time and this spot definitely delivered! We got seafood boil with shrimp, crab legs and lobster. I really loved the ramen and glass noodles as well, as they soaked up so much sauce. We got Cajun level 2 which was the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The garlic bread was also surprisingly so good, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. We also got Boys Nachos and Fresh Oysters. The portion sizes here are huge so I definitely recommend going with a group! Service was really attentive and I love that they provide bibs and gloves to prevent your clothes from getting dirty. We happen to be in town and wanted seafood for lunch, so we looked for a 4 star or more location and found this. The Food was very good, everything was cooked to perfection and the price is just right, that cheap but also not expensive. We had the raw oysters and New England clam chowder for appetizers and the MONDAY and added a lobster tail. The waitress was kind but still needed practice in her svc. I like this place and hopefully we'll be back, considering we are coming from Brooklyn. read more

Fabulous food and service ! I went with a group of 7 during their soft opening. The seafood boil was top tier. It wasn't over-boiled, and the seasoning was perfect. Not too salty or spicy. We tried the nachos, padak chicken, and we received donkatsu as service ! The nachos came baked and so cheesy ! The padak chicken was SOO soft and juicy !! The donkatsu sauce added a nice kick !!! I would definitely come back here! Plus the staff was soo amazing and accommodating, seafood boil can be a complicated order for people who never tried it. All the seafood was fresh and the staff was very friendly throughout and when informing us how to order our food. We got spicy level 3 (hot) and it was perfect but if you can't handle spice too well I recommend getting mild or maybe the medium option. I'm not sure where the 5 star reviews are coming from! It was my first time visiting the Boiling Boys. I ordered the AYCE lunch special for $29. I ordered the shrimp, clam, and mussels with the Cajun sauce. They accidently brought the level 1 spicy when I asked for level 2. Then I asked for level 2 on the side and I have to say the flavor of the Cajun sauce was not quite there, watery and not flavorful enough. I really wanted to like this place but it's probably the worst seafood boil place I have tried to be honest. Maybe their dinner option is better? They also automatically add 20% tip to your check amount with tax included which I don't even think they deserved. I paid $37.10 for my lunch special and it was pure waste of money! I would NOT recommend this place for seafood boil. But I would recommend Capt Louis in Fort Lee or The High Seafood in Jersey City for really fantastic fresh seafood boil with amazing sauces in the northern NJ area. Do better Boiling Boys! read more

We got the dungeness crab, snow crab legs, mussels, and clams on top of ramen and garlic noodles, and I am drooling just remembering how good it was! The seafood was fresh, sauces were nice and spicy. We got mild which had a decnet spice, but i'd definitely come back to try level 3! I had the mango pina colada and it was the perfect way to cool down from the spice. All in all a solid place to eat, with fresh seafood and delicious flavors. Highly recommend! read more
