Fun Atmosphere, Great Service, but Burgers Were Just Okay We finally made it to Bohemian Bull in person after ordering takeout a few times through DoorDash! We were lucky enough to snag seats at the bar just after the big rush for half-priced burger night. We started with the Buffalo wings, which were crispy, delicious, and tossed in an amazing Buffalo sauce! Unfortunately, the blue cheese dressing was a miss. When you find yourself questioning whether they accidentally gave you ranch instead, you know the blue cheese isn't quite hitting the mark! A good, bold blue cheese would have made those wings even better. For our mains, we ordered two burgers: the Build Your Own with lettuce, tomato, onion, and American cheese, and the Black & Bleu Jalapeño Burger. We made a couple of modifications to the latter, requesting the jalapeños on the side and adding grilled onions. The burgers themselves were decent, but nothing particularly memorable. We weren't asked how we'd like them cooked, which made us wonder whether the patties were fresh or frozen. Both arrived well done, and we were definitely thankful for the toppings, which helped add some much-needed flavor and moisture. I also couldn't taste any bacon jam on the Black & Bleu, so I'm wondering if it was accidentally left off. We noticed a 50-cent charge for the jalapeños, even though they're already included on the burger. Probably just a small mistake when ringing in the modifications. Certainly not a big deal, but worth mentioning. We also tried both the truffle fries and the regular skinny fries, and enjoyed both! At $18 for a burger, I'd expect something a little more impressive, especially if the patties are indeed frozen. At half price, however, it's a much more reasonable deal. A special shoutout to Jake behind the bar, who was super attentive and helped make our first dine-in visit such a fun experience! The atmosphere was lively, the service was great, and despite a few misses with the food, we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. Overall, a fun night out with some hits and misses. This is cute little spot tucked across the street from where I get my haircut. One of my goals when I moved back South was to go to every restaurant that served fried okra.i don't think I had it but may be once when I lived in Florida and I have been steadily working on it since I have returned. This is a sports type bar with lots of TV's and very nice servers. I really want to bring my daughter back here when they have line dancing because we have been known to cut a rug from time to time. ( she more than me these days! lol) I had a smash ( double ) cheeseburger and it was solid. I asked if the fried okra was fresh and was told it was. I will eat frozen if cooked properly but I do not eat fried pickled okra that is passed off as fresh so now I always ask. I have caught a few fibbers , but most restaurants are honest. These were cooked in a beer batter which is not the norm and I liked them!! So this will be a treat on haircut day! And a good place to watch a game if you aren't at my house. read more

Had such a great experience at Bohemian Bull! The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, perfect for catching up with friends or a casual night out. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything came out hot and fresh, except the fries they were lukewarm at best - tasty but would have given a 5 star if hot! But the stand out was the large beer cheese pretzel! We got three ya'll because they are soft and chewy yummy decadence!! The cheese is fabulous! $10 for one is a bit steep and I think $7 or $8 would be a nice way to bless the customer! And you absolutely can't beat their half-price burger Wednesdays--such an awesome deal for seriously delicious burgers. Now keep in mind they are made smaller including the bun but delicious and filling. With the pretzels added in the smaller burgers were plenty! We got the donut-hole ice cream dessert which was tasty and the grand kiddos enjoyed! Definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to on Wednesday's for sure! We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes using a free coupon when ordering a meal. The meal came out and not the tomatoes. The server said he didn't like the look of them so he didn't bring them or offer us anything else? We split a "Taco Americana" with 2 ground Chicken added boring and tasteless served with Brussel sprouts. We split a Donut Ice Cream. We chose this place because we were swayed with a free appetizer. The boss also had a house cocktail " Charles Towne Sungazer. Only 3 parties having lunch ,not good for this size restaurant. This use to be Carrabba's. This place has a really cool vibe. We lucked in on a Wednesday, which happened to offer live music and half price burgers. Doug Winters was playing and was the perfect volume for the size of the place. Our server Taryn was amazing and attentive. The food was really good. We had sweet potato fries and macho nachos for apps. The nachos have A LOT of black beans, which was great by us, but if you don't like beans, could be problematic. The strawberry fields salad was delicious-especially the lemon vinaigrette dressing!! The burgers were all very yummy. I went there with my chorus group after our summer concert and my group performed a Barbershop quartet after the scheduled live band. Located on highway 17, just passed Boone Hall farms, is this eclectic boho pub. We were immediately greeted by very friendly staff and the service continued to be amazing. I love fried okra and this place did not disappoint. They deep fry whole pieces of okra and not the typical slices. I had grilled shrimp and a side salad for my main course. Both were very tasty. My husband had the steak and fries. The steak was topped with a great chimichurri sauce. He thought it was very flavorful and his steak was cooked to perfection. This place has really turned around what used to be the old Carrabba's! I love the outside area that they created. I was hoping it would be more like the original, but I know there's less space here. Make sure to go on Wednesdays, where they have half price burgers. They have frozen cocktails, which is a huge plus in this heat! Their brunch has just started recently and I cannot wait to go there for that as well! So far I've been there three times, and the service has been good every time hopefully this place will make it for a long time to come! Me and a few of my friends stopped in here for the first time this week. First thing we noticed was that the restaurant was empty. And during the lunch hour. We sat at the bar and ordered our beverages. The man bartendering could not answer a single question regarding the food menu. It was as if he walked in off of the street and just started bartending. He was friendly, but has zero hospitality skills. Why would someone invest in a restaurant, and then hire just anyone to represent the business??? Glad I waited to come here. Saw a few Yelp reviews that had me wait months until the kinks were ironed out. Our table of 6 got there when they first opened and we were sat right away. Friendly staff. Got our drinks in while we looked over the menu. I had many options which doesn't happen often as a vegetarian so I was very happy. I went with the burrito bowl which was tasty and hardy enough I brought half home. Spicy margarita was excellent. Toddler has his typical chicken and fries. My husband enjoyed his wings and Brussels sprouts. I tasted the sprouts, great crispy texture and flavor. Delicious drinks, burgers and sides. What a great spot for some exceptional food. The fried okra and pickles are some of the best I have had. The poppin smash burger was just the right amount of heat to enjoy the burger. Great service very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. We decided to try this restaurant on a rainy Sunday for dinner. There were only a few other tables of people. I was surprised but I guess that worked in our favor. Our service was really good. Unfortunately, our food was mediocre. My husband had the burrito which he described as dry as a paper towel. I asked him what cheese was on top and he said American cheese. I'm pretty sure it was possibly a white queso sauce but he said it needed a side of salsa or salsa verde or something. He was bummed out. I got the fish and chips. I'm not sure why but I just felt the presentation was lacking. The fish was fine, the fries soggy. They looked like fresh cut fries and had a nice potato flavor but I only like crispy fries. Wednesday is Half priced Burger Day at BB so it was a good way to check out this popular Mt. P dining establishment. We enjoyed the fun atmosphere ... lots of parking ... friendly, fast, service and very satisfying food. The menu is fair priced and right sized with your favorite apps, wings and tenders, salads and wraps, burgers, sammies, entrees and desserts. There's an energetic bar, well placed in the rear of the large indoor dining area so we actually were able to converse during our meal. Hub's decent sized Black and Blue Burger was prepared as ordered, topped with jalapeños, yummy bacon jam, blue cheese, peppery arugula & tomato. His side pasta salad was fresh and tasty. My Southwest-centric Ft Johnson Salad was large, comprised of fresh mixed greens topped with a large portion of fresh guacamole, roasted corn and black bean salsa, jack cheese and crispy tortilla strips (wish there were more). The creamy chipotle ranch dressing was tasty and a good complement to the salad. The only improvement (knocking down a star) could be crispier, hotter fries (I ordered a side of my fave - sweet potato fries). Fortunately, the owner was on-site with whom I shared my disappointment. There's also a well designed brunch menu! There are many menu items that we want to check out. Meh. We wanted to try a different place in Mount pleasant and after seeing Bohemian Bull featured in the town magazine we decided to give it a shot. Upon walking in I had a feeling it wasn't going to be great, the setup feels outdated, dark and needs some work. The menus are tattered, have incorrect information and add to the update needed. We started with the wings and ordered our son the grilled chicken (which had red pepper flakes on it, weird for a kids chicken). The wings came out at the same time as the other food so timing was off. My wife had the mango habanero margarita, not spicy at all, I had the smokin Mary, which was watered down and had very little vodka. The second drink a key lime margarita wasn't any better. Dinner wise, the fries were cold but the burger was at least decent. Overall for over $100 spent it was a very subpar dinner. We won't be back but I do hope the restaurant makes the necessary adjustments. Our server was great and even complimented my wife on how beautiful she was. read more

This was my first time checking out this venue. We went to the bar. It was a Sunday, mid-afternoon and the restaurant was pretty full and only a few spots open at the bar. One bartender just came in to cover a shift while one was on their way out. Asked for a drink and food menu. Never got the drink menu. Ordered a few drinks and waited a long while to order food. Once we did it took a while food the food to come out. Once it did it was pretty good but not something I'd crave. Presentation fair. Cost was on the high side.
