The brick wall had developed significant cracks zigzagging through the mortar. The replacement process was quite involved as 1 or more feet of the wall above the lintels had to be removed. When they came out one of the lintels had rusted to the point that it could be bent by hand while the other had holes. Over about 3 days they replaced them and put back the original bricks. Now I can't tell that anything was ever wrong with the wall. The new mortar is a perfect match for the original. I have recommend Brick by Brick to a couple of other neighbors. And I'll be calling them back for other window and repointing with in the future.

I had a window package coming Monday and was ghosted again by a contractor. I was scrambling Thursday to find help, which is nearly impossible on the timeline I had, but Max was on-site same day I called to provide an estimate. He was prepared to get this window relocated for me on Monday, but it rained and the windows were delayed, so we both agreed Tuesday would be better. He hit the ground running, covering everything to keep things from getting too dirty, he was clean, he was efficient, effective, communicative, respectful, and did what he said he'd do (yes, most people don't-weird also, 3 contractors have made sexual advance on me and ghosted when I put up a boundary-money also isn't good enough for many these days either). Not only did he relocate the window, he corrected some wiring for me as well (lots of corrective action required in this house before I can even start moving forward), he also closed up a door, and was going to trim out my windows (that's on hold due to the window company). If I could pay him to do everything around my house I don't have the time, tools, or knowledge I would. He has an ownership mentality and treats your home like it's his own. He is a rare breed and definitely someone to be respected! Thank you so very much Max! I can't tell you how much I appreciated you being a respectful, hardworking individual. You're always welcome back for more work if you'd like!

This was primarily the reason why we paid to have the pavers done. 1 year in and there are weeds already growing in between the tiles. There are visible gaps in between the tiles where the sealant should have been applied. It looks like the sealant work was not done well (check pictures). There are a couple of loose tiles as well, near the entrance of the backyard, which just points to shoddy work. Communication has also been pretty poor. Update 1: The rant about Nature is a bit puzzling. The yard was swept once a week as recommended, so pointing to that as the issue is a cop out for the poor quality work done on the sealant. Did nature create gaps in the tiles where the sealant should be? Is nature the reason for the poor communication? As a business you select what providers and materials you will work with. Its not the responsibility of the customer to get in contact with the suppliers you are using for doing the work you are paid for.

After working with Ruslan I would 100% use him again for future projects! Communication: We were supposed to start our remodel March 2020 and with COVID-19 we were delayed a couple months. During that time Ruslan was super transparent with timelines and was really great at communicating any changes. This continued even after we began our remodel. He was always responsive and answered the MANY questions I had for him in a timely manner. Quality: While working together you can tell Ruslan has a high bar for quality and loves what he does. He not only kept the house clean during the process but he would point out little details that were off and pushed his sub contractors to have that same bar and correct any mistakes that were made. Timeline: Our project was done on time! Even with the ups and downs of COVID-19 Ruslan provided a realistic timeline and we ended up moving back home when we expected. I would highly recommend Ruslan and his team! They were AMAZING.
