They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

He explained where it made sense to invest a little more and where we could cut back without sacrificing quality. No pushy sales pitch, no checkbox quoting -- just someone who clearly knows his craft and cares about doing the job right. I had done some research ahead of time and knew my existing deck had a structural quirk that would matter during the rebuild -- Andy was the only one of the three contractors who caught it. That made the decision easy. His quote wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but it was fair and came backed with great reviews and a clean WA contractor's license (which, shockingly, not all of them had). That sealed the deal for us. We ended up completely rebuilding two decks using TimberTech PVC -- a smaller 10'x10' one, and a 26'x12' deck that's 20 feet in the air with two staircases and a landing. The whole project took about 3.5 weeks from demo to final touches. Andy's CAD drawings were spot-on. When surprises came up (like discovering the house's floor joists ran in the opposite direction), Andy just handled it -- added a beam, footings, and posts without delay or extra cost. Same deal with a couple small punch list items at the end (a dinged downspout, some siding, trim details). No fuss, no runaround -- his crew just showed up and made it right. The build crew was great to work with -- friendly, respectful, and meticulous. They kept the site clean and were clearly proud of their work. You could see it in the precision of the cuts and the fact that everything was perfectly straight, square, and level. Even the more delicate custom cuts -- like a half rip-cut board to fit under the house -- were nailed with crazy accuracy making it look like the boards extend under the house. The estimate included every detail. Work began within days and was finished after two days. The workers were polite and hard working showing great patience with changes made during construction. Nothing was sloppy as even precise cuts were made where needed. Double and single gates included steel posts for extra strength. A baseboard along the entire fence keeps animals from digging under it and holds back ground where it was uneven. On top of all this the price was reasonable and competitive. And then the work began! - Slavic and Alex were assigned to my project and wow - they are exceptionally skilled and hard working! - Slavic and Alex have great attention to detail. The siding work is very precise and they made simple and beautiful enhancements along the way (like swapping out old and poorly installed vents). - Rot was discovered under a stairway off my kitchen, and I decided to have the staircase rebuilt.
