Kitchen counter reeded wood panel install
    Elle S.

Drew did three wood working projects at our house and we couldn't be happier with the result! He sourced materials, stained, installed and painted. He even brought over several material and stain samples so I could compare in the space. His attention to detail is phenomenal. He's a great communicator and was great about working around our crazy schedules. I highly recommend and have already recommended him to family, HIRE HIM. You will not regret it!

If I could give Drew 10 Stars, I definitely would. Since I can't, I'm going to give you my top three reasons why you should hire him for your next job. 1. Drew is a true professional and provides high-quality work. He responds to emails and texts quickly, is very polite, considerate of your time AND will go the extra mile to make sure you're more than satisfied with the job. He's great at confirming details and is very clear about the job and/or tasks at hand to elevate any miscommunication or confusion. 2. His price point for services is extremely reasonable. He gave us quotes for different jobs around our home and they all fell in line with other prices we received from other handymen/companies. Additionally, he did not charge a fee for his initial visit, which isn't always the case with some contractors. 3. Drew is just a good, honest and kind human. As I mentioned earlier, we had him take a look around our home to see all of the projects we wanted to complete. While he is an extremely skilled handyman, he made sure to let us know if he felt the project was out of his scope. But instead of just leaving us searching for another solution, he was quick to offer his personal "handyman" wisdom on what steps we should take to get it done, as well as some referrals to help make it happen. He is also great at helping calm the nerves of first-time homebuyers like ourselves. I'm pretty sure I asked one million questions and he was patient and understanding through the entire process. The bottom line, hire this man. He a talented and skilled worker and a genuinely good human. For those of you still reading here are the projects we had him work on in our home: Installed 160 feet of baseboards in the living room and bonus room, replaced two structural beams in our crawl space, mounted a flatscreen TV and gave us quotes for a few drywall projects. Added bonus, some of the trim in our house was not properly installed and he took it upon himself at no additional charge to fix it. I've attached a few before and after pictures of the projects. P.S. There are 3 others who've reviewed Drew's services, but they are not showing up on this page. If you click on the "3 reviews not currently recommended" at the bottom of this page you'll see they all share my sentiments. He's awesome.

And so entirely without intending to, a couple nights later, I met with two more really nice men, who came and gave me the lowdown on the status of my roof. Which was not great. I've been doing renovations on my home now since I bought it, but this was by far the most seamless experience. They did everything, even getting the permit that my city needs to replace the roof (which I guess is weird that I need one). All I had to do was take down anything breakable because apparently taking off a roof is a violent and home-shaking process. Every single person I dealt with was service oriented and responsive. They came in like a loud bang-y whirlwind and replaced the roof. Then 2 guys stayed for HOURS, until it was dark, making sure they picked up every single thing around the house, so by the next morning you couldn't even tell they had been there. PRISTINE. Then a day later, Cory and Mark came and installed the gutters. That was definitely a more chill process than the roofing hurricane, and Cory took the time to check in with me and make sure everything was the way I wanted it. Theoretically I shouldn't need another roof for forty years, but for other people that are looking to replace their roof I can unreservedly recommend Polar Bear NW.

Exterior Crew came in with a realistic bid and got the job. They started the job when promised and a friendly and professional crew showed up. During the work the crew was available for questions and were very courteous. The company management was always available by phone, text or email. During the initial phases of the work I received a 'right to lien property' notice from a materials supplier, which is a standard practice. I called the supplier and asked about Exterior Crew's payment history. They said they were good payers and that I really had nothing to be concerned about. Having had problems with liens due to poor character contractors, this was good news to me. After the job had started I noticed an exterior door that had dry rot at the bottom of the door frame. This had not been noticed previously and I asked what it would take to include the door replacement in the job. A fair add on price was negotiated and the company manager provided me a sample of available doors. One was selected and the door was put in with no hassle. Exterior Crew also does painting but I have a house painter friend and I was able to have him come in after and do his thing. At least one of the other bidders for this work did not like that I had my own painter and I feel their bid included a penalty for not having them do the additional work. Exterior Crew was fine with this situation and just did their work with no issues. The job was completed in a timely manner and they did a reasonable cleanup after. I couldn't ask for anything more on the siding job While the siding job on the house was underway, I had a long term commercial tenant in a building I manage request the exterior be painted ASAP. The owner's are responsible for the building exterior per the lease. By this time it was getting into September and I really needed the paint job to get done fairly quickly to beat the cool wet weather. Exterior Crew was able to get painters on the site within a reasonably short period of time. Due to the tight time frame I was unable to secure multiple bids, and I am not confident in knowing specifically how much this job should cost. As beating the weather was the most important issue I just went ahead and had Exterior Crew do the work. While I cannot attest to the competitive cost of the paint job, the most important thing to me was getting the painting done quickly and if it turned out that I paid a bit of a premium for this, then so be it. They solved the problem for me and the tenant was happy. That's all I really needed. At time of this writing I have discovered a dry rot problem at my house. I've performed some small dry rot repairs on my own, but this one is more involved than I want to tackle. I've asked Exterior Crew to come and give me an estimate because I have confidence in their work and appreciate how they operate their business.

The project manager, Roman, was also very friendly, did a good job keeping us in the loop, and focused on making sure we were happy with work as it was done. A few unexpected things came up, as they often do with old homes like ours, and Roman did an excellent job communicating them to us and getting our input before proceeding. The crew was friendly, on-time, and did excellent work. Overall, we are very happy with how the project turned out and the experience we had with Exterior Crew.

After getting several bids, I went with Vitaliy (owner) and his team. Here's why: - Vitaliy was exceptionally clear, punctual, and spoke in facts (he was not at all sales-y). - He did what he said he'd do (call me back, or prepare an estimate) when he said he'd do it. From the first interaction, it was clear he has high integrity. - Vitaliy noticed critical details (such as the fact that none of my windows had flashing!) that nobody else documented in quotes or discussed with me. - And, his responses to my questions were patient and thorough. Vitaliy helped me understand all the aspects of the project and design choices, which helped me feel confident and supported. And then the work began! - Slavic and Alex were assigned to my project and wow - they are exceptionally skilled and hard working! - Slavic and Alex have great attention to detail. The siding work is very precise and they made simple and beautiful enhancements along the way (like swapping out old and poorly installed vents). - Rot was discovered under a stairway off my kitchen, and I decided to have the staircase rebuilt. It is beautiful. They even noticed that the original staircase had a weird drop off from the interior floor and corrected that so there's now a seamless landing that is much safer and easier to use. The work Slavic and Alex did on this part of the build is as high quality as their siding work. - The work site was always SUPER tidy. Slavic and Alex took great care to clean up as they worked, paid attention to simple details like ensuring nails were picked up and that hose covers were back on (winter months), and they were very respectful of the driveway which I share with my neighbors. - Throughout the installation, Vitaliy kept me updated via text, phone calls, and site visits. I always knew where things stood and what degree of rot was uncovered (or not) at the end of a demolition day. The level and consistency of communication was outstanding. This is the biggest home project I have ever tackled, and it was by far the easiest. And that is because of Vitaliy, Slavic, and Alex. Their communication and the quality of their work is exceptional. Hire these folks!

While other siding company estimators tried to apply time pressure to decisions and were very "salesy" in nature, Ryan felt very transparent, answered the questions I had, and worked on my time. The crew assigned to my project was Jose and Ismael Fernandez; from the moment they set foot on the project site these guys were respectful, courteous, and professional. At each step during the project they checked in with me on project status, and ensured I was happy with the work/results. They answered all my (somewhat basic) questions, and were very customer focused throughout the project. Their attention to detail and overall quality of work was really appreciated and made the whole residing experience much more enjoyable.
