They do not…read moreprovide true yoga classes as I have experienced them, this is NOT a true yoga studio, this is a yoga mill, cheap corporate "yoga". I think for $124.00 a month, the instructors should go through the class with us, instead, they just walk around spouting a memorized script that NEVER changes. They also have classes with NO instructors, only audio. I could easily do this at home via Youtube (again, for $124 a month!). There is no yoga music, the studio does not convey a "yoga" feeling, it's a sterile environment, and some of the workers are rude. So it's essentially a cold experience. At least for me. I did the 30-day trial, going through several different types of classes they offer, and decided it wasn't for me, but they auto-drafted on the last day of your trial, so be quick to cancel!!! I missed the window and they grabbed my money. I feel this is predatory because they will not refund ANYTHING, they just point to the rules. Also, they don't answer the phone no matter how many times you call all day long. Avoid Sunstone, there are better/real yoga studios out there. I didn't enjoy it, but they can enjoy my monetary contribution.

I try and do his class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays and I come to the hot yoga classes when I want to slow things down and stretch my body out. Not only has it strengthened my knee, restoring a good chunk of my mobility, but it's genuinely changing my life for the better. It has served as both my physical and mental therapy. I LOVE sports and have been active most of my life, but getting to a point of not being able to participate was honestly taking it's toll. This class has given me confidence by having something in which I can fully participate all year long. It is so refreshing. Melissa, the instructor, is an absolute gem. With exposed brick walls, creaky historical wooden floors, huge glass windows overlooking the town square, the space feels roomy and restorative. The classes I've taken there had sensitive and wise teachers who offered creative stretches with multiple adjustments for every skill level.

After hearing about Amber, I decided to give it another try and I'm really glad that I did! I told Amber I was really a newbie and my flexibility and breathing were pretty terrible. No pressure from her and she worked with my physical limitations (years of not stretching really ruined me). Amber adjusted me properly for the different poses and didn't put any pressure on me to perform beyond my limitations. She's so patient and her voice is soothing. She's by far the best yoga instructor I've ever had and I would recommend that people either see her in person or do a online class with her. This was far and above the best massage experience I have ever had in my life. It started with her welcoming me with an essential oil lavender eye mask. The relaxation began. It's tough to describe this style of yoga or massage if you have not practiced before but it's a combination of pulling and stretching that was working every level of my being. After a serious fall that resulted in a torn MCL and meniscus, I was referred by the ER to an orthopedic surgeon. My insurance required a referral from my primary care provider, Dr. Gonino. Because this happened after hours on a Friday, I had to wait until Monday to contact the office. When I called, I spoke with Jessica, who told me she had "50 other faxes to go through" and would "get to it when she could." I explained that I was in severe pain, mostly bedridden, and that the orthopedic office had an opening the next day but she was dismissive, rude, and completely lacking in empathy. Two days later, I followed up again and was told the same thing. I asked to speak to the office manager, Anita, and left a voicemail that was never returned not that day, not that week, and not even three weeks later. I eventually sent a detailed email to Dr. Gonino's nurse explaining the situation, which included the fact that my insurance company had also been calling and leaving messages for three days. Within minutes of that email, Jessica suddenly called to say the referral was complete. By then, I had already missed my earliest orthopedic appointment and was forced to pay out-of-pocket to be seen sooner because of the delay. This entire experience was shocking and unacceptable, especially considering that I had followed Dr. Gonino's instruction from my first visit to not have any imaging (like MRIs or X-rays) without consulting him first. But when I actually needed urgent care, his office made it nearly impossible to get help. When I later tried to address the situation and provide feedback, I was told I'd need to make an appointment just to discuss how I was treated which felt ridiculous. For context, I suffer from a rare autoimmune disease and initially chose Dr. Gonino because his approach seemed holistic and compassionate. Unfortunately, my experience showed otherwise. The office seems far more focused on selling "extra" services and tests (many of which are not filed with insurance) than on providing timely, patient-centered care. I personally spent over $1,500 on tests that, in hindsight, had nothing to do with the issues I came in for. Ultimately, I had to involve my insurance company, which was so concerned by what happened that they initiated their own complaint against this office. This was a deeply disappointing experience from a doctor I initially trusted. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and improves communication, empathy, and urgency--especially when patients are in pain or facing medical emergencies.

I have to pay out of pocket $210 because they are out of network. And to be treated the way they do is absolutely unacceptable!! Don't go there!!!
