1/2 eaten charcuterie platter. Sorry I was so hungry
Avelino C.

I had a charcuterie board which was very good and only $12.00. The wine selection is great. The place is big and roomy and outdoorsy. The service is great also. Stop by while touring the wineries. You will like it here.

Amazing atmosphere and service. We tried the garlic mushrooms, ahi tuna, and two versions or the oysters. Surprised not many reviews have been posted. Highly recommend. They have an assorted of region craft beers. Come by. You won't be disappointed. P.S. They didn't pay me for this.

A very neat place to stop into while in the Valle. It is not a winery, but they carry hundreds of wines from the valle de guadalupe. they offer flights in 3, 4 or 5 tasters which is nice. And the tasters are a very good size! I've had the same lady wait on us both visits & she is very attentive & descriptive with the wines. We told her our individual likes & dislikes before starting & she did great at meeting our needs (Or wants, I should say). We also had some food here which was all very good. Mole chicken, Cheese Sopes (had LOTS of cheese on them, so good) and even a pizza! They also have a full bar for cocktails & many craft beers. During peak season they offer an outstanding Sunday brunch with what seems like a million items to select from. Very impressive. You can sit either indoors or outdoors. They have patio heaters near the dining areas, but if you sit at the bar the cold wind will get you. This Bodega is HUGE. Plenty of space for lots of people. Bar area upon entrance is large with lots of seating. Dining area spills over into a courtyards as well, multiple bathroom stalls that are very clean & even a Banquet room. They have a private parking lot as well. **Note: Google & yelp have their opening time as 8am, but they do not open until 1pm**

Wow! Great food and ambiance!…read more We went here on a Saturday for lunch and the food was delish. I know most people talk about the food, so you can catch up on that in the other reviews but damn the wines they had on offer and the mezcal was damn amazing. I had the eclipse wine and for those wanting something fruit forward, this is it! I can't remember the mescal I had, but they offered it with fried crickets and orange slices!

The setting alone is worth the visit wide open views, rustic-modern design, and so many photo worthy spots you'll find yourself snapping pictures all throughout your visit. Whether it's the hillside views, the outdoor seating, or the golden hour lighting, this place is made for unforgettable moments. Now the food... incredible. Th ecachete is packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the pulpo is hands down one of the best I've had tender, smoky, and seasoned just right. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated without losing that Baja charm. The drinks also deserve a shoutout great mixed drinks that are refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect to sip while taking in the views. Overall, Finca Altozano delivers on all fronts: amazing food, killer drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere with plenty of photo ops. Definitely a 5-star experience and a spot I'll keep coming back to

Came here on a whim after looking at local wineries immediately where we had just gone wine…read moretasting, and I have to say that this was one of the best and more personal wine tasting I've ever had in the Valle de Guadalupe. The professionalism and charisma of the lady who took care of us was exceptional and we cannot commend how great of an experience it was from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Because it was the day after Christmas and off-season, it wasn't busy in general for most of the wineries, so coming here was quite the treat because we nearly had the entire terrace to ourselves for the majority of our time there. The pairings consisted of mostly white ones with one of the white wines tasting like a red wine (close your eyes). She did an amazing job of explaining the stories and context behind each wine and the owner and his impressions of everything. We also got a charcuterie board that had probably some of the most fresh and tastiest cheese I've ever had. The two different breads with the olive oil really hit the spot. I was so amazed from this place giving its more rural location and that it is hidden. Please note that we paid a decent amount here. I think after the wine tastings for the both of us and the charcuterie board plus the purchasing of 3 or 4 bottles, the total was about $150 USD. Worth every penny! I'd definitely recommend this spot to others
