    Buen dia

Awesome winery ! Drinks are good and cheap They have a playground which is awesome haha and it's an playground for adults!!! Totally worth coming I had the enchiladas de pato(duck enchiladas) they were sooo good they did taste different from regular chicken but still really good Babe had the shrimp rigatoni pasta and the shrimps were really big and it was a big size portion. Their white wine was really good not to dry or sweet just perfect.. Their dog Rocco was the sweetest played fetch with him

I really loved the complimentary bread and sauces (homemade and fresh YUMM!) I had a sangria, which was really delicious and quite strong, my kind of drink... For those of you that like your main dishes on the sweet side, I had the Chicken with grape sauce and it was amazing but a bit too sweet for me (I don't have a sweet tooth at ALL). My mom had the melted cheese (mozzarella) with freshly made corn tortillas and she loved it. The staff is EXTREMELY accommodating with food alterations, be it because of allergies or pickyness. Just make sure you are very SPECIFIC. We would absolutely eat here again, next time we come to Valle de Guadalupe.

The setting alone is worth the visit wide open views, rustic-modern design, and so many photo worthy spots you'll find yourself snapping pictures all throughout your visit. Th ecachete is packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the pulpo is hands down one of the best I've had tender, smoky, and seasoned just right. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated without losing that Baja charm. The drinks also deserve a shoutout great mixed drinks that are refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect to sip while taking in the views. Overall, Finca Altozano delivers on all fronts: amazing food, killer drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere with plenty of photo ops. Definitely a 5-star experience and a spot I'll keep coming back to

It's mostly outdoors but fully covered, with heaters to keep you warm, which made it very comfortable.. We arrived around sunset, and the timing was perfect: it was still light when we got there and turned into nighttime by the time we left, making the views and ambiance even more magical... Our server was very helpful and attentive.. He walked us through the menu, explained how different dishes were prepared, pointed out popular items, and also gave us great drink recommendations. Everything we ordered was very tasty and definitely lived up to the hype. We came on a Sunday night, so it wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly, and the food came out fast, which was a nice bonus. Overall, the food was good, the ambiance was beautiful, and the vibe was very romantic, perfect for a date night. There's also space to walk around the property, although by the time we finished eating it was already dark and we were ready to head home... If you're visiting Valle de Guadalupe, this spot is definitely worth checking out for the views, the atmosphere, and a solid meal...

Just a heads up: the seating is one long communal table. If you're picturing a quiet little two top date night, this isn't that. It's more of a "we're all in this together" setup, which actually ended up being pretty fun. We went for the full tasting menu with the beverage pairing, and it was absolutely worth it. The tasting menu consisted of 14 courses. They served things I never would've ordered on my own, and that ended up being the best part. The oyster and clam dishes were incredible, and the scallops were another standout. The drink pairing was surprisingly great too, way more adventurous than what I would've picked off a menu, and I ended up loving a couple of the wines I'd skipped during our earlier tasting at Bruma. Service was on point from start to finish, and the whole experience just felt special. If you're in Valle de Guadalupe, make time for Fauna. It's absolutely a must visit.

We were the only diners there but it was a Thursday evening, so I suppose that was it. That said, felt lonely. The food...feel sad to say this but meh. We got the 5 course tasting menu. There was no printed menu of the dishes so pardon the simple descriptions; this is all I can remember. The first course was vegetables on a puree of white beans and fennel. EXCELLENT. 2) Fried rabbit on a mayonnaise sauce. OK, putting something fried in mayonnaise without any acid is just too rich on rich. 3) Fish in a puttanesca sauce. Now, I don't like puttanesca, so there's that, BUT my fish wasn't cooked properly. Not seared and rare in the middle, but just undercooked. 4) Chicken in a sauce I can't remember. SUPER juicy and perfectly cooked but the seasoning and sauce...big meh from me. 5) Oy. I really didn't like this one. Lemon verbena flan in a honey-like sauce with fresh cherries. The cherries were lovely but otherwise...sugar on sugar on sugar. Yikes. Don't make this again...ever. Start over. Overall, felt overpriced for the quality of the food. Would skip this one.

For groups larger than 7, they require a prix fixe menu (5 or 7 courses) with the option to add a wine pairing. We went with the 5 course + wine pairing, which included a welcome drink (gin + cucumber based and very refreshing). The pairing was supposed to include four wines, but we only ended up getting one red and one white with refills which was a bit of a bummer. That said, the red ended up being one of my favorites from the entire trip, so partial win there. Food: absolutely delicious. Everything came out family style, beautifully plated, and perfect for sharing with a big group. No complaints on flavor or execution! 4 stars (and not 5): a few frustrating misses for a high end spot. First... they were out of tequila. In Valle. At this restaurant. What? Lol. Second, we were required to select our main entree in advance (choices were rock fish or suckling pig), only to get a call about an hour before our reservation saying neither would be available. The replacements were a fish (I think salmon?) and pork belly. Don't get me wrong both were good but last min menu changes like that shouldn't really happen at this level. All that said, still a great experience overall. I would come back with a smaller group so I can actually order my own meal and avoid the prix fixe surprises.

The professionalism and charisma of the lady who took care of us was exceptional and we cannot commend how great of an experience it was from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Because it was the day after Christmas and off-season, it wasn't busy in general for most of the wineries, so coming here was quite the treat because we nearly had the entire terrace to ourselves for the majority of our time there. The pairings consisted of mostly white ones with one of the white wines tasting like a red wine (close your eyes). She did an amazing job of explaining the stories and context behind each wine and the owner and his impressions of everything. We also got a charcuterie board that had probably some of the most fresh and tastiest cheese I've ever had. The two different breads with the olive oil really hit the spot. I was so amazed from this place giving its more rural location and that it is hidden. Please note that we paid a decent amount here. I think after the wine tastings for the both of us and the charcuterie board plus the purchasing of 3 or 4 bottles, the total was about $150 USD. Worth every penny! I'd definitely recommend this spot to others

We arrived at the location (tucked away) off the main road. Like a lot of the good things in Valle I suppose. We soon realized we were the only two dining with the chef this night. Which meant full attention full service just for the two of us. Talk about a treat. Our waiter mentioned how the omakase would work and soon started us with drinks and water. What came after was a dream, a full experience of tastes, and adventure, and exquisiteness. A really good selection of fish from the local Ensenada region. I was in awe every time a new dish come out. I lost count, and found myself trying to savor every moment every bite, and then having a moment of clarity and asking "what course are we on?" "how many are left?" I didn't worry to much as every single stage of omakase was magnificent, beautifully presented and something I highly suggest you do, if you have the opportunity to. If you get lucky and end of being the only customers for night, take advantage of it. As, opportunities like this, are rare. TOSHI is the best!
