After 4 days in Valle de Guadalupe, this was our last meal of the trip. And everything was amazing! From the customer service, to the decor, the view of the vineyards while eating lunch, to the amazing food. There are no complaints! We ordered a bit of everything and shared: - oysters on the 1/2 shell and oyster shooters - octopus ceviche - tuna sashimi with scallops - cow tongue -finger ribs (which we think are goat ribs) - an aged ribeye - lime water - beer - check split between 4 people would've been around $35-40 per person This restaurant was on my top 3 favorite restaurants I tried down in Baja California. The Chef, Miguel Angel Guerrero, created the cuisine and named it BAJAMED. Out of all the dishes, the Tuna Sashimi and the Aged Ribeye with veggies were my favorite dishes from here.

Beautiful views excellent service .. not the best desserts or variety of mix drinks . Thank I so much will definitely visit next time

The food & service was really good! I would recommend the ceviche or the sope de chorizo. 10/10

This restaurant is GOOD, I've had Oyster shooters at other places but not as flavorful as this one. Also we had a plate with Shrimp, Octopus Scallops and all three were cooked to perfection.

Very beautiful atmosphere and staff was incredible. The fish was over cooked and a little dried out. We also ordered the ceviche dish and there was way too much on the plate.... can that really be a problem??? Haha Ultimately I might come here again for the overall experience but would order something else. Maybe just drinks and appetizers???

Had dinner here for the 1st time and everything we ordered was so tasteful!!! Had the ensalada Lechuga Romana Al Grill, Taco de Pechuga de pato con chicharrón, papas fritas and rib eye. Two thumbs up on everything!!! Highly recommend this place and the service was excellent!!!

Octopus Tapenade - heaven on earth! A must try here.

La Esperanza is our favorite restaurant in Valle de Guadalupe. I seriously would drive 4 hours down the border just to eat here. The service is great and the food is SUPERIOR! We were recommended this restaurant by our Airbnb host and we have nothing but compliments. these chefs here really know how to execute their seafood dishes. Every time we try something new it's never a disappointment. Some of our favorites are the grilled octopus, the oyster del chef, Madagascar tuna, the vegan shot, and their catch of the day. The atmosphere is both cozy and modern. We also feel safe dining here during covid because of the tables were spaced out and workers all wear masks properly.

What a surprise!! This hip vineyard reclaimed-chic style overlooks its winery and offers really high quality Cali contemporary dining. We stopped by per recommendation of our host and were fed delicious tuna sashimi topped with stylish rustic crunchyness like kale and Mexican fusion sauces, followed by grilled octopus so tender it would compete with Nancy Silverton's version at Spacca in LA. Nebbiolo wine was excellent. Love this place!

Cerrado los lunes y martes. Closed Monday and Tuesday. FYI.

Not sure what the complaints about service are about in some of the other reviews. I have always found the service here to be professional, old-world, and on point. Maybe people expect American-style service, which honestly annoys me. Too intrusive. The food here is amazing. I have always been a big fan of La Querencia in Tijuana, and this restaurant in the Valle does not ever disappoint. Situated on the beautiful vineyards of LA Cetto, it's the perfect food served in the perfect setting. I would have gone back today but they are closed on Tuesdays ... I'll be back soon, for sure.

My husband and I stopped by here over the weekend for lunch and we enjoyed it a lot! The scenery is stunning and the location is easy to find off the main road. We are both vegetarians and this restaurant had very good options. We ordered a grilled vegetable salad that was super fresh, super tasty, and full of vegetables (sometimes these types of salads can be lame, but this was the best one I've ever had!). We also ordered a hibiscus taco with goat cheese and a portobello mushroom burrito. Both were very small so we ended up getting extras--and the second burrito came with shrimp, so be specific that you want the vegetarian one--but they were very good and we thought reasonably priced. Definitely check this place out if you are in the valley and certainly if you're looking for a great vegetarian meal!

Luckily, we were able to secure a table at Quercus. The waiter was prompt and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The chef was also quick to come and ensure that any questions we had about the menu were answered. The bread was served fresh with salsa - a combination I have not had before. Both the green and red salsa were not too spicy and to my surprise, went well with the toasted bread. For our main courses: 1. Grilled Octopus - 5 star presentation! Well seasoned and not chewy - which is something many other restaurants get wrong. The octopus still had a bite, but was still tender enough. It went well with the pickled onions and the guacamole that was served with the dish. 2. Ribeye - Again, excellent presentation befitting of fine dining. This was a huge portion, but well seasoned and not dry. We opted for the 500g (larger) size upon recommendation of our waiter, but probably could have gone for the smaller size. We could not finish it; perhaps if we had 3 people dining. Our meal was paired with an excellent white wine blend from one of the local wineries upon recommendation of our waiter. Highly recommended if you are in the area looking for a restaurant to have dinner at. If I were to describe this place: mediterranean food with a Mexican flare.

We received an appetizer for the table from the chef to start off our feast. The Blood Clam aguachiles were amazing and a must order. It is not your typical agauachiles. The clams were chopped up with made it a perfect dish to share for all of us. It was excellent. We moved on to a very delicious salad that was not on the menu but we asked for a house salad that we can all share. It was packed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, beets and radishes. We moved on to our main course and the ribe eye was seasoned and cooked to perfection, enough to share for about 4 people. We ordered 2 but we could have easily had just 1. The oven roasted Curvina with vegetables as also very tasty. It was not my favorite but when you have rib eye cooked the way it was, we didn't need the fish. For groups larger than 7, they require a prix fixe menu (5 or 7 courses) with the option to add a wine pairing. We went with the 5 course + wine pairing, which included a welcome drink (gin + cucumber based and very refreshing). The pairing was supposed to include four wines, but we only ended up getting one red and one white with refills which was a bit of a bummer. That said, the red ended up being one of my favorites from the entire trip, so partial win there. Food: absolutely delicious. Everything came out family style, beautifully plated, and perfect for sharing with a big group. No complaints on flavor or execution! 4 stars (and not 5): a few frustrating misses for a high end spot. First... they were out of tequila. In Valle. At this restaurant. What? Lol. Second, we were required to select our main entree in advance (choices were rock fish or suckling pig), only to get a call about an hour before our reservation saying neither would be available. The replacements were a fish (I think salmon?) and pork belly. Don't get me wrong both were good but last min menu changes like that shouldn't really happen at this level. All that said, still a great experience overall. I would come back with a smaller group so I can actually order my own meal and avoid the prix fixe surprises.

First off, the rice has so much flavor and it's moist. It's the perfect balance of spice. I loved that it wasn't just plain basmati rice. I really enjoyed the lamb. You could tell it was shaved off the trompo and had a nice balance of spice and season. The meat was thinly sliced and had crispy pieces but still tender. The chicken has a very heavy citrus flavor and a little spicy. It was grilled to perfect but my preference was it was a little too citrusy. I really enjoyed the Mediterranean salad but they need to do a better job draining the water. The dressing is a lemony vinaigrette.
