Quite amazing - everything tasted incredible and fresh. From the clams to the blue fin tuna and ribeye steak it was all delicious.

Pulpo asado

Food and service is incredible. Really nice ambiance as well and easy to park as well. I got the pulpo asado and it was the best octopus I've ever had. Of got the shrimp pesto pasta and it was seasoned perfectly. Definitely recommend

Loved here! We got here as soon as it opened at like 1pm i believe.. the one problem i have with outdoor seating in Mexico is the flys. There are herbs that can be placed at table to deter flies and also water bags work. It's the worse to try to eat and swat flies at the same time. I will say it's such a cute cozy intimate place. The menu has some great options and they have an amazing quinoa veggie salad for my vegans as well as mushroom tacos served with romaine lettuce shells or corn tortillas. I opted for the Romain lettuce shells and the tacos were amazing. This was one of my favorite meals this trip. They have a good wine menu and beer.. and i believe a full bar. Another great thing is we took our doggy's and the were very accommodating to them as well which is always a plus for me.

Our Airbnb hosts recommended this spot...delicious. I'm STILL dreaming about the portabello tacos from their appetizer menu. The margarita left a little to be desired though...seemed to use Fanta or some kinda soda instead of a fresh margarita mix. I switched to wine after that and was happy about the local Baja white.

Fantastic food inspired by med-mex cuisine. Beautiful atmosphere. Definitely a must try when you are In Ensenada. Chef was generous enough to customize few dishes for me and create vegan masterpieces. Loved the Mojitos. Overall, a great foodie place with delicious Mediterranean Mexican influenced flavors.

Oysters. Amazing. Super fresh and that sauce is absolutely wonderful.

One of the best restaurants in Ensenada! If you're looking for something a little romantic, this is it! Ophelia has comfy seating, good wine, great service and fabulous food. Arrachera: very juicy and flavorful, some of the best arrachera I have ever had. Accompanied by green onion, Serrano and fries . Seafood Linguine: pasta was perfect, abundant seafood and seasoned well. Oyster: they are super fresh and served with a soy/red onion/serrano sauce. This is now my absolute favorite way to have oysters. If anything, come here just to try these!!! If you want a break from traditional Mexican food or need to go on a date; I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our local friends brought us to this very nice restaurant just north of town on the highway, by the sea. They ordered a varieties of tapas/pintxos, mussels, local tuna dishes. Wine was a Tempranillo from the local vineyards on the mesas.

Great little place...food is fantastic, service the best! If you're in Ensenada, worth going there!

Food was good but service was less than desirable. Staff need to realize it's about the full experience and not just eating.

Service was terrible. The guys serving us barely paid attention and I had to go looking for him to get the check. Food was okay.

This review is strictly for their wine tasting with Mina Penélope which is Malva's vineyard on the…read moresame property. I didn't realize you needed a reservation to come here but Nathan who owns this beautiful property with his vintner wife opened up their table for the best tasting we ever had! Each pour was delicious and we also got their charcuterie board which is not on the Malva menu but you can request. Nathan was very descriptive of their wine and praised his wife on creating so many of their wines. He made it clear that this is a woman owned vineyard and he just helps out. This made us chuckle because we all are married and would love for our husbands to praise us like he did! The vineyard is very resourceful and does clean practices for winemaking making it shine in their wines. I ended up going home with their Julio wine. I can't wait to try it at home and you can be sure we'll be back!

Located right in the middle of a vineyard so your view while eating is just amazing. The dogs that…read moreguard the vineyard are fairly friendly. One in particular loved to ask for head scratches by resting his head on your leg waiting for you to pet him. We got there right when they opened so service was a bit slow but that's understandable because they were still preparing for the rest of the day. Presentation was on point and made for a very fun meal. The horse mackerel rosette while not in an actual rosette was very good. Nice touch of citrus. Sea urchin flan was very umami and very filling. Gyozas were more like dumplings because they did not have any crispness to the bottom and the gyoza wrappers tasted like they were dried out in a fridge. Filling was an ox tail filling and worked wonderfully. The ramen broth however was just a bit too salty. I think if they made it into an aspic and put a bit of it with the filling it would have made for a better flavor explosion. Catch of the day was ok. The skin of the fish was kinda soggy but overall flavor was good. I think the crispness of the fish skin added with the shaving of jicama would have made it more of a standout dish. For the Pig dish, they used a suckling pig. My only complaint with the dish is they should have dried the skin out some more and made it crispier. Who isn't a fan of crispy pork skins from a suckling pig. The presentation of the desserts was the most amazing. The pumpkin is pretty much a lavender milk cereal inside and some sort of jelly and granola topped with a salted caramel ice cream. The carrot cake. This is the most delicious carrot cake I have ever eaten and the presentation itself was very fun. The carrot itself is a carrot puree that was candied and filled with a cream to look like an actual carrot.
