Vietnamese iced coffee

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food. Upscale but not pretentious atmosphere. The bun cha is a must try! Iced coffee is the best I've ever had too.

Super cute wine bar! Lightning and vibes were really nice for a weeknight. Burrata was delicious and wine was good quality, a bit more bitter for my liking because it was European. Service was great too, staff were attentive and friendly, and we got serviced quickly.

Loved this cute wine bar! It's a hidden gem in north beach. The staff felt so warm and welcoming and were very helpful. The ambiance of this place is great for a date night or to come with some friends and order a bottle of wine. I loved that this place had chilled wine, on a warm day that's exactly what you need! We also got burrata with pear as an app and it was delicious, it's their seasonal dish. Few things to note/plan for, the bar is a small cozy spot so make sure to come before rush hour to get a good table. This is strictly a wine and beer place, don't expect cocktails. They have some snacks/apps that I'd recommend! Would definitely come again.

sausage and peppers breakfast burrito

really good and definitely worth the long line but wish they had some non pork meat options

Perfect spot for a night cap. Seating can be a bit tricky but that all part of the experience. The food was great and smelled amazing. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink and the staff were super cool about it and took it off our tab, which was much appreciated. Great place and great staff!

Short rib taco #1/3

Recently was up in the area on a Saturday early enough to try their breakfast burritos. We tried short rib and I think sausage. They were tasty - especially appreciate the tots - but didn't think it lives up to the hype. Would not wait in line or plan my Saturday around this.

This location is currently being remodeled, therefore, they have been selling their famous breakfast burritos outside this location. They sell breakfast burritos in this location on Saturday. They have been cooking their burritos at their sister wine bar, Celeste, but they are still as good as I remember. I went on a Saturday at 930 am and there was no wait (maybe bc the actual wine bar isn't open). They have chorizo, sausage, vegetarian, and short rib burritos. The short rib is amazing, but I wish the salsa wasn't that watery. Can't wait to come back when the wine shop is open again.

Trying the popular breakfast burritos at Bodega SF (700 Columbus Ave, near Washington Square Park) - not to be confused with the Bodega Vietnamese Restaurant! They offer four types of breakfast burritos only on Saturday from 9AM until sell out! You have your choice of bacon, sausage, pork verde, or short rib. We tried the short rib and pork verde. The short rib was so yummy and flavorful and pork verde was meaty and tender, tater tots were crisp and salsa was excellent! We got there at 8:25am and the restaurant opened at 9am. We were 2nd in line and after ordering just waited 10 minutes to get food. Parking nearby was not bad at all either. So glad we got to try! It was worth the Hype!

Chorizo breakfast burrito

I LOVE these burritos. The line can be long, but it is worth the wait. The hash browns are always so crispy to add a nice crunch to the burrito. Their chorizo is house-made and very flavorful. My absolute favorite is the pork chili verde.

bite size breakfast burrito not nearly the size in previous pics

i never bother to write reviews but 5 hours later I'm still bothered by this $14 breakfast burrito that left me super disappointed. Treked across the city just to try the highly rated breakfast burrito. got at 10:20 surprisingly a short line. unfortunately sold out of short rib but ordered two sausage burritos and a chili verde. get home eager to try. Burritos were tiny, nowhere near the size of a mcdonald's breakfast burrito. Not only that there was absolutely NO chili verde in my chili verde burrito! only two small slices of avocado, tots and egg. what a let down, was really looking forward to it too.

cute vibes, by the same people who own celeste and key klub and the vibes are very similar with the electric lights that set the mood smaller than i expected but in the cutest area! north beach! wine selection was smaller than expected but all the ones we got were so so good bites are all $15 and the burrata was a great bite while drinking

Came here after work with a big group and sat at the largest table in the front. The restaurant is on the smaller side so I would recommend coming with a small group Definitely a cute spot for after work or on the weekends and food and drinks were all delicious! The Bodega Melt was so good I'd go back just to eat it again!

People waiting

Bodega is great. I went there for a breakfast burrito. They have the restaurant closed off, you order at the door and they call out the order at the window. The wait for the breakfast burrito is about an 40min - but it felt quick because of the energy of the people and they play bad bunny inside - the staff goes hard. It got cold while waiting because: San Francisco. So bring a jacket. Was able to snag the only table (somehow!?). And since I was with my girlfriend - I felt like flowers for the table would be nice. I asked the girl working at the register if I could get some from the tables inside - she looked confused AF. But I explained what was asking and that I'd give them back - and then she grabbed them for me. She was nice. The soy chorizo was better flavor than the bacon burrito a but both tasty. Great job Bodega.

Now the food - holy cow it was delicious. And I was impressed by the coffee too, it was really good! Avocado Toast with potatoes - 5 out of 5 stars = my over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. I mean perfection. The avocado was fresh and plentiful on the delicious sourdough bread, which held up. There was some kind of cole slaw/radishes on top that were pefect addition - very tasty. And the breakfast potatoes - I am not a fan of this style, but these were so darn good, perfectly seasoned and cooked, they were absolutely amazing. Eggs Benedict - hubby said it was awesome, English muffins held up and the eggs were perfect, delicious hollandaise. Eggs and Bacon = really tasty bacon, but not my son's cup of tea - he is not the maple/applewood smoked kinda guy, he likes his bacon plain, but I found it delicious, more for mom. Like everywhere, you can tell they are understaffed and have to hustle. I do not envy the service industry these days, expectations to do more with less and deal with rude tourists and entitled people. Boris, our server was awesome - very kind, we sat for a bit as he tended to other tables, but I could sit in that restaurant and stare all day long, it is that cool. Highly recommend, another stop for our city adventures!

Then their businesses which have San Francisco in their name and are located over 30 miles away like the San Francisco Premium Outlets which are in Livermore not in SF. Now with Football season in full swing there is a place where College Football fans from around the country and NFL fans when they visit San Francisco and you will also find local 49ers fans and it's called the San Francisco Brewing Company. One the last weekend of the Summer stroll with a little sunshine before the Fall I landed at Ghirardelli Square at San Francisco Brewing Company. This place is a tourist trap but makes an interesting fan base dynamic when you will find that Miami Dolphin fan lingering around or that Dodger fan hiding in public sight at this bar. You will also run to people who actually went to the College Football school playing on the screen from somewhere in the Midwest and South. They also celebrated Oktoberfest recently with live music. I got the chicken wings and legs which came naked and had to dress it with buffalo sauce. I then got the fish and chips which were fresh and a bit crispy which were beer battered and tasty. I then took flight and got a flight of beer which was refreshing. They also have another San Francisco Brewing Company location in Mission Bay. Come here a weekend and "happy hour "where people are planted by the bar like a "flower" drinking beer which are some in SF which are "sour"and they have the bowl here which has "roasted cauliflower" Come to San Francisco Ghirardelli Square where people from around the world " gather"to watch a sports to watch football, basketball, and the "baseball batter" and get a fish and chips "platter"were the fish is covered in "beer batter"

My 8 year old niece had a difficult personal loss, and we asked to use the bar bathroom. The kindness and warmth with which the bartender, and especially the manager on duty reacted was exceptional. Laurie, the manager, not only checked in with a neighborhood group to try to locate the stolen item, but followed up with us days later, to make sure we were doing ok. So far above and beyond. Its rare to find a business with so much kindness and heart. I will go have a drink there when I am in SF, for the rest of my life. Tucked away on the edge of North Beach, this small hole-in-the-wall has a very casual, down-to-earth vibe that avoids any flashy tourist trends. It serves as a dedicated New England Patriots bar with plenty of sports memorabilia on the walls, making it a reliable spot to catch a game. We stopped in around Super Bowl time, and while the space is a bit small and basic, the crowd of fellow jersey-wearing fans brought some good, straightforward energy to the room. The drinks are cheap and heavy-pouring, making it a perfectly fine, low-key spot to grab an ice-cold beer and watch a game, even if it's a pretty standard, no-frills dive bar experience at the end of the day.
