This is probably no way to open a Yelp review, but I'm not sure how I ended up in Fisherman's Wharf. It was after dark on a particularly rainy evening, but here I was feeling rather peckish and wondering what dining options there might be around 9PM. That was how I came upon this Hyatt-connected sports pub on Google Maps because I saw they didn't close until 10PM. When I entered, the bar was sparsely occupied with guys watching whatever sports were playing on four different screens (Photo 7). There were more people in the dining room, probably hotel guests, but I still found an empty table without fuss. Despite their marketing promise of a "unique dining experience ", the menu struck me as, well, typical bar grub. Nothing special (Photo 6). I decided to have the $20 Grass Fed Angus Burger on a Brioche Bun. It came with shredded lettuce, tomato, and a melted slice of provolone (Photo 3). It was pretty much paint-by-numbers. Not that persnickety at that late hour, I found the medium rare beef just good enough but nothing that memorable even with a generous pile of fries to tide me over my bus ride home (Photo 4). FOOD - 3 stars...standard bar burger & fries AMBIANCE - 3 stars...heavy sports bar vibe SERVICE - 3 stars...not much interaction TOTAL - 3 stars...yes, this is Fisherman's Wharf...so what's new? Had a good time having breakfast here. Enjoyed the atmosphere, very warm and cozy. Service was friendly, waited a while to close out but it was busy. Food was great, I enjoyed the pancakes. We also got the breakfast sandwich & one coffee for $58 total.

    Wonderful service and delicious food.

Looked like a cool restaurant/bar near our hotel so we hopped on in to check it out. Located inside the Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco, there's a separate outside entrance to walk directly into the restaurant. We didn't order any food this time around as we already had dinner reservations elsewhere. So, drinks it is. THE DRUNK DRINKS. - Mango Margarita | Served on the rocks, this tropical and refreshing cocktail combines the sweet, juicy flavor of mangoes with the smooth bite of tequila. It's garnished with a lime wedge and salted rim. I'm a fan of this. THE VIBE. The vibe is chill, as the young people say. Exposed brick with a wooden slat ceiling and a mix of pendant, track, and wall lamp lighting fixtures throughout. The bar contains a wall of alcohol with back lighting for dramatic effect. Televisions are placed at the bar so one can watch sports and spot-like stuff. THE PARKING. Hotel parking or street parking. Not sure of pricing, but I can safely assume it's unreasonably high. You are in San Francisco, after all. THE RETURN? Sure, the food menu looks appetizing and I really liked the ambiance.

Great place to catch a drink and watch sports. We are offered a $10 voucher at check-in so we can spend a little time at Brick & Beam. I usually order an Old Fashioned, my favorite & they make a good one!

Brick and Bream is one of the two restaurants at the Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. After checking in to the hotel at 9:30 pm, I was told that the only places to eat would be this restaurant (which closed at 10 pm) or two fast food joints outside. And just so that we are not confused, the hotel or the restaurant is not by the water. Anyway, it has an entrance from the hotel as well as from the street. The decor, dine in seating and bar area, is minimalistic all round, but comfortable. The food menu has simple fare, but with choices to feed even the grumpy eater. I could not resist and therefore ordered, the fish and chips. This is one of my favorite eats and I have found that every place is so different and worth a try. When the item arrived it was piping hot and definitely, just out of the fryer. First the fries, they were amazing, thick and crisp, very tasty and thrilling with every one you put in your mouth. The 3 pieces of battered fish were crunchy, flaky, fresh and with body. No minced fish, no processed fish, no fish sticks, no fish rectangles. Just how it should be, fresh pieces of Cod that came with house made tartar sauce. This was amazing. Every bite was perfect and satisfying. Undoubtedly, one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. To top it off, the service was exceptional.

Came here for a quick dinner to meet some people who are staying at the hotel. It was actually quite good for a hotel restaurant. Some elements of the food were really good but others were just missing something. Husband and I shared a Grilled Chicken Melt - really love the flavor combination going on there. Good chicken breast that was not too dry too dry, combined with the salty crispy bacon And avocado and pesto.. Love that combination! Asked for a side Caesar salad instead of fries. It was a good call. Quite a big potion size on that salad as well to be honest! Someone ordered the chicken Caesar salad on the table and it was about double the size of this one and look like a decent amount of food. Friend got the Grilled Chicken Melt with the fries and oh my gosh that was a lot of fries! Enough price for about three people I think! Side note: the fries were actually really nice and crispy! Fried chicken thigh just look like it was a bit too too oily. Fish in the fish and chips Also seemed the same. Also had the Falafel with the pita bread and tzatziki. Falafel was quite flavorful and went well with that tzatziki sauce. Pita was very fresh and soft and tasted good even the next day! The drinks they made were actually quite strong as well!

Back here again, Patrick the bartender is awesome. If you're staying at the Hyatt, it's like a full service bar in your bedroom. Sports, shots, food if you need it.

This restaurant is attached to the Hyatt Centric, located in Fisherman Wharf, it is a pretty nice place to hang out at. The name Brick & Beam is just what it is, all bricks on the outside and bricks & large beams on the inside, is kinda like a pub & grub with multipe TVs, with all type of sports on, a large bar area, there are happy hour drinks, small plates, plus a great beer selection. There service breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, the atmosphere is so casual, we stop here for a few night cap drinks, after spending a day on the "Rock" Alcatraz Island, the drinks were water down, you could barely taste the liquor, and tomato soup which was good, but unfortunately you will have to buy bread or crackers separately for the soup.

This restaurant is located at the Hyatt near fisherman's wharf. When you enter this venue, you'll be surrounded by brick walls and lots of light. The ambiance is ideal for unwinding. The food & drinks are spot on. During my visit, I tasted the fish & chips, fried chicken dinner and chicken strips. All were tasty and fried just right. This place offers an ideal list of mix drinks for everyone. Plenty of local craft beers. I enjoyed having diner at this location and would highly recommended it if you happen to be in the area.

Amazing ambiance, fantastic service and even better food and drinks!! We stayed at the hotel across the street and saw it when we were out exploring and said we would come back by for a little "nightcap". Little did we know, it was a treasure! The lighting is perfect, the seating is solid, and the executive chef assisted us with our order and was so kind! I will recommend this place to anyone who is visiting or looking for something new.

Came here since it was right across the street from our hotel. We each ordered the tomato soup. It was the best I've ever had. We also shared a salad and the tuna poke. Everything was tasty. I will try this place again.

I stopped by around 4:30 p.m. and there were a few tables where I saw folks finishing up their work day on their laptops with a beer. It's neither overly crowded, nor overly loud, which is perfect for getting work done. Since it was the World Cup and many guests would be camping out for the entire match, table service has a per person minimum spend of $25. This is a really a non-issue because a cocktail is around $15, so two drinks, or one drink with some food, will easily hit this minimum. My wife and I shared crispy pork schnitzel ($17) and an order of their deviled eggs ($12). The deviled eggs were nicely seasoned and included a small salad shrimp on top for some variety. The pork schnitzel was perfectly fried and the potatoes in the included side-salad was well-cooked and not over dressed. I would recommend enjoying the schnitzel with some mustard. Both drinks that I ordered -- an Old Fashioned and a Boulvardier, were well prepared. No notes here. Service here was top notch. Throughout our stay, our server checked up on us multiple times and we never had to wait long to place another order for drinks. Tipping options on the receipt include pre-calculated 18%, 20%, and 22% options (on top of the 5% SF Mandate). Last but not least, the restaurant had clean bathrooms and a bunch of large TV screens on every wall. If you're looking to watch a sports match, Sam's Tavern is the place to go!

What originally started as a disappointment became a huge blessing once we found the board room. Feet aching, sweaty, and tired we made our way to this bar. Immediately you could tell it's a local favorite, the ambiance was nice and a great spot to people-watch. There was a cup flipping event which was super fun to spectate, along side the rotating pictures of the bar's beloved pooches . We ordered 2 western burgers, 12 count bone-in wings (half bbq, half Hawaiian), and an appetizer of corn dogs, tater tots, bacon Mac & cheese bites, and mozzarella sticks. Later we also added boneless buffalo wings which were so tangy, well-seasoned, and HOT. The western bacon burgers were so delicious, crispy bacon, crispy onion rings, and some bomb.com bbq sauce. The wings were drowned in sauce (just how we like them) , the bbq was to die for and the Hawaiian had the perfect little kick of spice for our picky eaters. The appetizer platter was also fried to perfection, with the perfect crunch on the tater tots & corn dogs. The Mac & cheese bites & mozzarella sticks were perfectly cheesed, with an amazing cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks. Along with the food, my boyfriend and I ordered some drinks. I got a margarita and he got a Guinness. Both drinks were good, very standard and well served. The couple behind the bar were very funny and super kind to us being dazed after all the walking. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese.
