DO NOT SHOP HERE! I would give negative 100 stars if I could. Do NOT order from these people!!!! I wish I would've seen the reviews first! Like many others, I ordered shoes weeks ago, they took forever to ship, then they were wrongfully marked as delivered (stolen) and I never actually received them. I've emailed Bodega Store multiple times, and was basically told the problem is between me and the courier, they have nothing to do with it, and ONLY if the carrier admits they didn't deliver, will I get the amount they insured it for, which is less than HALF of what I paid. Everybody knows mail theft via couriers is at it's HIGHEST during this time of year! So for my refund to depend on them admitting their own theft, is insane! But they were unhelpful and dismissive, making it clear they didn't care at all, and would only refund part of the order IF the carrier admits they didn't deliver it. Anybody who online shops, knows how unlikely and ridiculous this is! When does a carrier ever admit to stealing a package?! The "manager" and the rep I spoke with were both rude and unhelpful, in addition to lying about what their policy states! It actually does NOT state in their website's policy anywhere, that they will only refund the insured amount, and their policy also confirms they shipped my item via the wrong courier in the first place, as the couriers are different for regular domestic addresses vs PO Boxes. Not to mention they shouldn't be insuring packages for less than HALF the worth of the contents! I have NEVER experienced customer service this poor. Any time I've had an issue with delivery with other companies, they simply refunded and apologized for the trouble if they couldn't replace the item. Bodega Store is REFUSING to give my money back in full, if at ALL, even though I reached out immediately about the missing package, and filed a claim. THEY chose the wrong courier based on their own policy, and refuse to assist or refund me in full. They were supposed to ship my package via UPS (this is their policy!). They didn't, and now my package has been stolen, and they are refusing to give me a full refund. At this point I am reaching out to Jay Gordon and Oliver Mak via email, and reporting this to their CEO's, before I move on to the Better Business Bureau. Thankfully I have a pretty large following via my social media handles, and can warn many others about this company before they make the same mistake many of us did. Please please PLEASE, do NOT order from this company!!!! Their customer service is horrific, their shipping is awful, and if your package is stolen they will basically take your money! ***And @ Bodega, do not even BOTHER responding to me in this review. Great selection and love supporting a small business. I've worked in luxury retail boutiques with a similar vibe. I just think they fall short in the infrastructure needed to support an online presence. Their fulfillment/customer service strategy seems to be the bulk of bad reviews here. I placed an online order Dec 4. I understand peak times, etc but the fulfillment strategy I was quoted gives 10 day max turnaround to at least get the order out the door. It's been 10 business days and still no word on my order. Emails in get cut and paste responses. I've been a in store seller doing online fulfillment. I find Bodega much akin to PDT in NYC. Similar kitschy entrance, similar level of substance, similar markup beyond the not-so-obvious ingress. I'd heard about Bodega from some sneakerhead friends awhile back, but it took more than half a year to finally have an excuse to make my way here. My canvas sneakers had been falling apart for awhile; since we were already in the neighborhood, I finally dragged our party along for a quick shopping excursion. Bodega offers more than footwear - there's a whole case of accessories, a rack of tops, and a smallish section for the ladies tucked away in the back. The bulk of the goods revolve around sneakers of all different shapes, colors, and sizes. While the assortment is quite limited in variety, the style spans the gamut. For being a speakeasy, Bodega certainly has a following. The weekend afternoon we moseyed past the nondescript facade, the back room was heaving. Finding a sales associate to bring up the right size shoes was a challenge. Plus, don't expect to walk out feeling like you snagged a bargain. Cheap, Bodega is not. Possibly the worst kept "secret" in the whole city. The Bodega has been around for more than a decade, and still does not disappoint. In fact, it's kind of amazing that there haven't been any imitators after all of these years. I won't bother with a whole break-down of the place, since every other review has thoroughly covered it. I will say though, that, regardless of whether you're into designer streetwear or limited edition Supreme collabs, this place is definitely worth a visit. It's a cool, creative diversion in a city that has a reputation for being pretty provincial and uninspired. Terrible customer service. Another hype brand who can't handle the amount of business they generate and give out subpar solutions when they make mistakes. Do yourself a favor and shop at any other store.I ordered a jersey online and they sent me basketball shorts? Obviously this is frustrating, but 99% of companies I've shopped with would instantly ship out the correct product. That's totally their fault. After asking for the correct item I ordered, they gave me the most unsatisfactory response. They told me I could keep the item and get refunded 15% or get a free "shipping label" and get a full refund. So I still have to spend time and money on a box to send this back to them after they messed up? Time is money and y'all are wasting both for me. Take accountability. They also said they couldn't just send me the original item I paid for because they needed a "paper trail." How about the original order I placed as your paper trail? I ordered a pair of saucony shadow 6000 and the quality was soooooo bad i cant even believe it. Covered 360 on both pairs with scuffs, glue stains, creases, and the singular brown shade i was supposed to get is so stained that its many different browns(too many to count), also one of the laces was missing an eyelet this is by far the worst experience ive ever had shopping(they are that bad). They took two weeks to fulfill my shoes but it only took one day to ship after that which was relieving. I only got one pair of the two shoes I ordered because the other was out of stock. It took them 2 weeks when they finally fulfilled my order to tell me that one pair was out of stock. Each pair was 190$ so $380 but I used a discount code of 10% because I signed up for their news letter. When I got refunded for the one pair instead of 190, I got 170 and the pair that did get purchased ended up paying full price of 190! So basically they made the discount apply to the pair that was refunded to me hahaha that's really the cherry on top of this and they don't care. You clearly need to address how your functioning your business! I feel like they finally shipped out because I was complaining so much and I'm not alone with this look at the other reviews please.
