    Spaghetti Pomodora

Amazing little Italian American Restaurant on the near Northside of Indy. Cute and intimate setting. The service was fantastic. Numerous wine and cocktail selections. The spaghetti pomodoro was 10/10' very authentic. Also enjoyed the Chianti. The tiramisu was perfect! The server was very knowledgeable concerning the menu. The food was first class. Highly recommended! Best I've had in Indy and I'm Italian!

    The best Italian sparkling wine.

We absolutely love this place. We had our favorite non-Champagne sparkling wine and a truly wonderful dinner. I can't remember out servers name (he was also the bartender) but it was something nontraditional. He was an absolute delight. Made wonderful recommendations and provided great hospitality.

Absolutely fantastic Italian place. The outdoor patio was cute, decorated well and they played great music that wasn't too loud. For appetizers we had the goat cheese and the calamari- both were phenomenal and would definitely get again. For entrees we tried the seafood ravioli and lasagna Bianca- both are a MUST try. Dessert included an espresso martini and the cheesecake. The martini was great, the cheesecake was mid. The service could have been a bit quicker, and it seemed like our waitress kept forgetting about us. My biggest complaint is the water- it's absolutely vile. Why does it taste like that?

I truly can not say enough about this place. It's delicious and has become a personal favorite for my solo dates. My favorites are sitting on the patio enjoying happy hour oysters and listening to the love music. *I would LOVE to see a couple more options for happy hour. And deeply miss the Italian 75 for HH My go to's are the oysters, mussels, beef carpaccio & the Della Casa *extra sauce. The staff are great and pleasant.

Brown Butter Cake with berry compote (minus vanilla gelato)

Great Italian spot. I loved the dessert most. That brown butter cake was amazing. A few seeds in the mixed berry compote but that didnt stop me from eating every bite. Im always in search of great calamari. The breading was well seasoned and crispy. Overall a little chewy but I ate it all. The breading was good too. I had to get the Mushroom Ragu with no cheese so it was a little lite on flavor. It was fine because I was full on bread and appetizers. The black interior and low lighting was a vibe. Felt upscale but approachable. Great service from a super knowledgeable staff. I noticed a nice bar with the game playing so Bocca is great for 1 or 2 or a group!

2/3 truffle arancini after I devoured the first one!

I've been here for a girls night and a date night and the vibes are great for both! If you recall the old Shoefly space, it's been split up into smaller areas with velvet curtains and a lounge vibe. I thought the pasta I tried here was good but not remarkable, but if you are a truffle lover, don't miss out on the truffle arancini! This was the perfect appetizer with a glass of wine for a quick date at the dark and intimate speakeasy bar in the basement.

Where has Bocca been all my life?! Now, I'm not an Italian food girl at all, BUT Bocca might have changed my mind. The mussels and all the pastas - YUM! All of the pastas were amazing, but the one with the lemon cream sauce was the winner of the night! Our waiter was amazing with recommending food and the cute, little seating area was cozy. I can't wait to go back to sit outside and try more of the menu!

I had a girls night here - first time visiting. I was blown away by the food - great taste, presentation, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Our server was awesome. She was so friendly and attentive. We started with the calamari. Cooked to perfection. And we both got one of the fall season mocktails. It was made with apple cider and was the perfect drink to go with our meal. Honestly everything was amazing here and I can't wait to have my next date night here with my fiancé!

This wasn't my first and won't be my last time at Bocca. It has become a favorite for my friends and I. Everyone is always so sweet, the service is always amazing, and the music is always great. I was there to celebrate my birthday with my sister and close friend from out of town, both first timers, and they both enjoyed everything. They were both talking about when they will return We ordered a flatbread, the mussels, and calamari for appetizers..all of it-GONE! We each ordered a different pasta Pomodoro, Tortellacci, and Seafood ravioli ! The only pasta that went home was the tortellacci and that's cause I was stuffed from all of the wonderful appetizers! I Can't wait to get back for more mussels!

I finally made my way over for dinner and it was a great experience! We stumbled upon 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Wednesday - a pleasant surprise! The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She recommended the Della casa shrimp pasta and it was perfectly creamy, yet spicy and a generous portion. There was also a lot of shrimp mixed in! We also tried the short rib, which was really tender. The meat itself was very tasty, but I wish the dish as a whole had some sauce or a little more going on. The prices were really reasonable and the environment was modern yet traditional. I can't wait to go back to try more menu items!

We had a lovely night celebrating a friend's birthday here. We sat outside and got to enjoy the nice weather and music playing. It wasn't too crowded, and our server was attentive. I had a glass of pinot grigio and ordered the Della Casa. DC was good, but after trying friends' Cavatappi, I almost wished I'd gone with that. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the pastas here. Overall, a fantastic spot and highly recommend.

we went to bocca during devour 2026, including an appetizer, a salad, entree and dessert for $50! for my appetizer, i started off with arancini and i was not too impressed with these. they did not have much flavor and i was not a fan of the truffle cream, i would've preferred the classic marinara instead. (but definitely a nice experience to try something different) the caesar salad was good, had a hint of a lemon flavor in it! the tortellacci was AMAZING! very cheesy with the perfect amount of flavor, the chicken was a little too chewy for my liking but overall the dish was still incredible! we ended the night with the pistachio ricotta cake and tiramisu. the pistachio ricotta cake was so delicious, very light. on top of that, the service was great and the interior and ambiance was beautiful. the lights and decorations were so nice.

We came in with a reservation for a group of 8 and were sat timely upon entering. The ambiance is cozy and warm. Our server easily handled the orders for our larger group and helped guide us in choices for entrees and starters. The arugala flatbread and calamari were fantastic and the Pesto was so fresh, it was a crown pleaser.

The menu doesn't feel as "wide" to cater to more tastes. But the prices are still the same as other Mass Ave cocktail bars. BUT what Sundry and Vice has going for it is its locale. It's one of the only cocktail bars on this side of Mass Ave. Not only does this mean that it's easier to get to (depending on where you're at), but it also means that I've never had any issue getting seated here. In fact, even on peak Friday or Saturday nights, I have multiple choices of tables. (The only caveat I've seen to this is the unpredictable schedule of hotel conferences. If Bottleworks is hosting a conference, this place can get busier.) Compared to other cocktail bars down the road where they're on a 1 hour wait (or the "wait and see if a table opens" approach), I know I can always be reliably seated with zero issues at Sundry and Vice. The music exists, but it isn't overwhelming, and the low lighting and softer music makes this place great for actual conversations with people. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with a large selection of booths. The cocktail bar is inside of the Bottleworks Hotel; it's effectively a swanky cocktail bar version of a traditional hotel bar. Some of their cocktails are draft/prepped in bulk, so if you're looking for something fast, that can also be a factor. And it's right across the street from Garage Hall if food/snackies sound great afterwards.

Tonight my husband and I walked down to Strangebird for dinner, ordered drinks and dinner, and I had *just* said to my husband that Strangebird has come to feel like a second home. Then the server came out and told us that the chef has decided they will no longer permit any modifications, including those that meet dietary needs. We were out on the quiet patio surrounded by other customers, so on top of being totally blindsided, it was actually pretty embarrassing, too. Folks, let me tell you how much I wish I could just eat the ramen noodles like everybody else. So much food that I love (and in some cases spent years learning to make myself) went out the window forever when my body stopped being able to handle wheat. But at Strangebird, I could still go in and enjoy the depth of flavor in every other component of a bowl of ramen. And that meant the absolute world to me. I'm heartbroken.
