He literally told me, "If a drop of rain comes, then I'll give it to you." It had rained for much of the day, and multiple customers were asking about the same promotion. If the requirement is that rain must physically be falling while you order, that needs to be clearly stated in the advertisement. Otherwise, the promotion feels misleading. I've been to Parliament several times and have never had a bartender interpret the rainy-day happy hour this way. I ended up ordering a smoked Old Fashioned from another bartender I've had before, and it was great. He was friendly, engaging, had great energy, and even did tricks while making the drink. I still enjoyed my cocktail, but it would've been nice to have the option to order from the happy-hour menu as advertised that day. I'm including the Instagram post for reference. I'm very disappointed as I've never not had a good time at Parliament. I really think that the owner should look at the Times stamps around 930 to 10:15pm part night and see the difference of business and traffic flow from when the taller bartender with the glasses versus the shorter Bartender with the glasses was at the front as it was instantly more business. We ordered many drinks, appetizers and each had an entree as well. Ryan was flawless the entire time we are there. We walked in and immediately had low expectations. Ryan turned that around quickly and convincingly. Not only was his service excellent but the food was excellent as well. It reminded me of a trip I took to Ireland about 9 years ago. To be fair, the manager on staff handled our complaint regarding Jake professionally and with care, which we truly appreciated. However, the situation itself left a lasting negative impression. As professionals in the criminal law and medical fields, we value professionalism, discretion, and respectful communication. They have TVs everywhere inside (both floors) and a huge TV outside as well. The restrooms are clean. They have a lot so that helps especially when it's there's a lot of people-- hate going to places with ONE bathroom. A bunch of seating too- lots of high tops upstairs/downstairs, bunch of tables outside & they have a lot of extra chairs. Service is great. Everyone always checks in to ask how everything's going and drinks/ food don't take too long to come out. I do LOVE their flatbreads. I've tried several flatbreads and they are all super tasty and not too expensive. I did appreciate that when Mexico scored during that first game, the servers brought out a bunch of shots free for everyone to celebrate!
