Great and cozy diner off the beaten path! I've driven past Bob's for many years and never thought to try it. So many missed opportunities! Visited on a rainy Saturday morning and enjoyed some hot coffee and quick service in addition to the food itself. Their prices are extremely reasonable and I opted for the Triple B (Bob's Bountiful Breakfast), which came with eggs, potatoes (choice of hash browns or home fries), and choice of meat and toast. The portions were hearty and the spicy italian sausage was WONDERFUL. It feels like the perfect neighborhood spot, and it was full of customers during the entirety of our visit. I won't wait long to return, and I'd like to try some lunch options next time!

We liked the old location and the new location is even better. Much larger location. Very bright. Same great food. More space. I always got breakfast here and I'm going back to that. The mac & cheese was okay, but not as good as their breakfast.

Food was bomb. Service was bomb. Only wish they had longer hours. I took my dad here and my bf here. They all like it too. Yay Bob's diner

The last several times we have ordered take out on line or phone in the orders have been wrong. It's frustrating as a customer because you out $!! Also, the portions of fries & chips are always a-lot smaller than the dine in portions yet the cost is same??? OK errors may happen from time to time.. but every single time?????

Bob's is like an old reliable. You can always count that the food will be good. Service is hit or miss, but they don't lack friendliness here. Matt and I had to take his car in for repairs and we found ourselves in Kennedy on a Saturday morning. Since there's so much flip flop right now with the ability to eat inside, we were fortunate to be one of the 25 that were allowed to be in Bobs at any one time. They also have curbside pickup. (as of 7/18/20) Matt got the mixed grill, and a side of corn beef hash and my suggestion. He inhaled it, of course. Everything was fresh and on our table in just a few minutes. I got my fave, corn beef hash, eggs, home fries and toast. After two cups of coffee and an amazing breakfast we were ready to take on the day. Only drawback this time was our server was not attentive at all. Matt was out of water and she never came back to see how our meals were. Go here and enjoy the good food anyway. Happy Eating!

cute aesthetic for a breakfast place. loved their smooth jazz music selection. it's very vibey, best to soothe your brain awake. I always appreciate when they cook the veggies into an omelette instead of just stuffing it in the middle. it ensures the food doesn't just fall apart by bite 3. the benedict was just meh. not enough hollandaise and the egg was over cooked. the egg bagel with strawberry cream cheese kinda blew me away. it tasted like a cheesecake, but the balsamic gave it a more savory kick. strange sweet and delicious. stealing the idea next time I'm forced to make brunch for a group of hungover middle aged women

While this is a local chain type restaurant. I had perfect service and delicious food at this location. Nikki our server was great and we both ordered the lunch special, a ruban and chips. I also had the stuffed pepper soup and it was delicious. The soup especially is exactly what in my opinion all stuffed pepper soup should be...like you were eating a deconstructed stuffed pepper. Will definitely be back. It surpassed my expectation. It was a bit pricey for a lunch but I don't mind paying extra for good food and service.

Parking behind the building was easy and I got a table right away. Everyone was so friendly. My server Karen was especially nice, attentive, and patient, giving me her opinion on several dishes. The food came quickly. The quality and quantity of food was an amazing value. I tried the Eggs N'at ($12.50) which included 2 eggs, 3 bacon strips, country potatoes, bread (I had cinnamon raisin), and a pancake. I upgraded my pancake to the monthly special - peaches and pecans. Everything was so delicious! To top it off, I enjoyed their music playlist. I wish they were closer to me in the SF Bay Area!

I got a breakfast platter and everything was cooked perfectly. The peanut butter pancakes looked plain but they were packed with so much flavor. The potatoes were just like my mom used to make and that means they were absolutely delicious.

Gluten-free and vegetarian foods and decaf and sugar-free beverages are available. Customers may dine in or get takeout. My husband and I have been customers here twice. Both times the employees made very courteous conversation with us, and they promptly took our order and payment and brought over our foods and drinks. Here are my reviews for what we ate: Berries & Cream Crepe - 4 stars - This gluten-free crepe contained cream cheese, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and whipped cream. It looked beautiful and tasted very good. Nutella & Fruit Crepe - 5 stars - This gluten-free crepe contained Nutella and slices of strawberries and bananas. I loved the flavors of the Nutella and fruits. Egg-Bacon-Cheese Breakfast Sandwich - 5 stars - My husband enjoys this sandwich so much that he ordered it during both visits. Turkey-Bacon-Swiss Wrap - 5 stars - This wrap contained a good amount of turkey, lettuce, and Swiss cheese, and I liked the raspberry-walnut dressing on the side. Raspberry-Passionfruit hot tea - 5 stars Chai Latte - 5 stars - This hot tea had the perfect balance of black tea, spices, honey, and milk. It is one of my favorite drinks anywhere. Handcrafted Soda - 4.5 stars - Seltzer sodas come in many different flavors, and we went with cherry, pomegranate, and apple. LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.
