WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The food was ok, but the service was racially based. The waitress, Rhiannon was the WORST waitress I've ever had serve me. I thought this experience was back in the south during segregation days. When I attempted to give her critical advice, I thought she was going to hit me. This was an establishment that I'd never leave a bad review until this horrid waitress showed up and made the experience one of the WORST EVER. She ignored us the entire time. We kept having to ask her for service. Even when the food came, she didn't bring utensils. We had to get up to ask for drinks, food, and then the check. She slammed the drinks on the table, and it kept sliding beyond just a waitress having a bad day to blatant hostile service. When I told her on her service, she began yelling making sure to let us know what she thought of us. I was told NOT to leave a review on my way out by one of the employees, but African Americans deserve to know. I've visited Bob's since they opened. I've always liked their food and the service is good which is why I gave them three stars. I didn't give them a five because they recently put up a sign that says that if you don't wear a mask they may ask you for proof of vaccination. (I have not seen a sign like that in any other business in the state, so Bob's is obviously a thought leader.) I found that very heavy handed. It's the owner's right to do that and I defend her right to do it. It's my right to say I don't want to visit businesses who make cloaked threats to their customers. It's your choice. I have heard good things about this restaurant so I thought okay let's try it...well, the floor was so sticky it felt like no one ever cleaned it with hot soapy water. The table tops were sticky too. I have passed this place a few times, always wondering if the burger were worth the trip. On this particular day, I was here before lunch, so breakfast was on the menu. They had a few limited selections, but enough to satisfy any potential diner. We were the only ones there at open, so we thought service would have been top shelf. Our server was friendly, but spent most of her time off the floor leaving us alone and with empty beverages. Right about the time I thought I would going to have to insist on more attention, she decided to do her job and check in periodically. The breakfast was decent and by decent, I mean pretty good, however, they did something I have seen before, but don't like. The hash browns was a thin crispy layer. Potatoes are cheap, serve me a portion of hash browns that lets me know that you get how important hash browns are to breakfast. For reference, this is the same as Chinese restaurants going light on rice and Mexican restaurants cutting back on rice and beans. It's cheap filler, fill us up! Anyway, this could have been legendary, but with questionable service and a child's portion of potato, this breakfast was an overall bust. What happened to Bob's? It's not the same lately, and that is not a good thing. It was a beautiful Sunday evening, around 7:30 pm. Bob's was almost empty. We were seated promptly by a very friendly front desk staff. Unfortunately, our evening went downhill from there. It took forever to get drinks (4 adults). It took a long time to get our dinner order taken. The worst part was the ridiculous Prime Rib Dip Sandwich that I ordered. It has piddly amount of prime rib, it was microwaved (you know what microwaved buns feal like) and the dip was overly salty. The worst part is it was $18.00. We returned again on a Sunday evening after not visiting for over 2 years. We returned due to buying an Amazon local coupon and thought with that significant savings it was worth another try. The restaurant was fairly busy and the waitstaff seemed to handle the pace well. It did take about 20 minutes for food to arrive after ordering however, our beverages were kept topped off without asking. (unlike our previous visit). My Cajun chicken wrap with jojos was fresh and delicious! Those JoJo's were piping hot, plentiful and really good when dipped in the Heinz ketchup that was at every table. The portion was large and there were more than enough to share and i must add, much too tasty to waste! The flavorful wrap was attractive, seemed freshly made and chock full of seasoned white chicken morsels. Unique, light and really good! Overall service was attentive. Food was slow to arrive due to a busy kitchen but worth waiting for. All in all we enjoyed a much better experience than my previous visits and we definitely will return! read more

Came here for a work lunch, and, while it seems a lot like Red Robins, it is MUCH better. Service is better. The decor is more comfortable (cause RR feels like a sports pub sometimes). Food is seriously better. The burgers were juicy, just a little messy and made with fresh ingredients (no canned 'shrooms here). Fries were standard thick cut fries. The menu had pretty standard offerings, but they do it well. I'd choose this place over Red Robins in a heart beat. read more

Here's what I had to say about Marysville, which rings true for this location as well: "I went in last weekend and got a Western BBQ Burger (sub veggie patty, no bacon) with onion rings and I have been in Bob's fantasy land ever since. It was hands down one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had. The onion rings are definitely the best I have ever had. They were homemade with beer batter, light, crispy and perfect - no crazy over breading. My friend had the same but with meat and bacon and we were both in heaven." This location is newer so it also seems less crowded. I was happy to see that they are open until 10pm during the week and 11pm on weekends. Overall, very good meal. PS: My Mom went with my hubby and Dad for breakfast last week and they all gave the food 2 stars. They said it was covered in gloppy sauce and the eggs weren't cooked correctly. Bob's is a good place for lunch. This place is what you'd expect from a bob's. I usually get the steak salad medium rare w/ no onions. The steak is good and usually cooked right. It's not over the top but it's enough to bring me through the door fairly frequently. As others have said, waitresses are always cute and ususally good at their job. My family and I had a reservation at Kyoto for our aunts birthday but was told there was an hour wait. We had a group of 17 people and a few of us decided to go to Bob's Burgers & Brew to have a drink while we waited for our reservation. We had our drink with a few of us not even finishing our one drink and left the restaurant. After Kyoto not being able to accommodate our party we called Bob's to see if they could. We were told yes and when we arrived we were told that we would not be sold any liquor because 6 out of 17 of us had one drink at the bar previously and Left. While I was talking to the manager trying to get an understanding he said our group was a liability and we're really aggressive towards him. At that point I ended the conversation gathered up our kids and was headed out of this establishment. On our way out one of the staff members stopped to apologize to us and said maybe we should have them pull up the receipt to show we only had one drink at the bar. She said my boyfriend with the big chain had already been here and they remember him so didn't want to serve us any drinks. I explained to her we were all there together and that's when the owner walked up interrupted the conversation and told the girl to get back to work and asked me if I had a problem. I told her that her employee stopped us on our way out and we walked out. We've never been so discriminated against and to have our children witness a very unnecessary situation is hurtful and baffling when all we were trying to do was celebrate our Aunts Birthday. What's upsetting is she hadn't been out of her home since Covid hit and this was her experience when we finally got her to go somewhere. I honestly feel we were racially profiled and will never return to this establishment again! We've come too far in life to still have to experience this type of ignorance, all of this could have been prevented if they had a sign on the door stating no colored allowed. I wish I could give no stars but Yelp makes you select one just to leave a review. But I also believe everything happens for a reason. This is the worst place I got a mushroom and Swiss burger, it did not come with real Swiss cheese. Only after I brought it up too my sever did they offer real swiss cheese. I really want to rate this place higher! I've tried Bobs several times and it's always just ok. The fam decided to give it another try today but ended up feeling very disappointed. My order was completely wrong... like a totally different item! By the time I got my correct food, everyone else at my table was done. Our drink was also wrong; again totally incorrect drink. No offer to make it right. My sons pancake was literally uncooked in the center-- totally raw dough inside! At that point we just gave up and didn't bother sending the pancake back. Seated quickly and the waitress was great. 2 large salads with tea. 34 bucks with tax.. heathly food choice- chicken was grilled and tender and the wasabi salad dressing was spicy. Just the way it supposed to be. One of the only places I know that service toast with a salad. I love that amenity. read more

Went to this Bob's for the first time lastnight. Started in the bar for a drink while waiting for members of our party to arrive. Banter between bar tender and wait staff was humorous. It appeared as though the staff had a good working relationship. Finished our drinks and met up with our party set up in the back. We had about 20 members in our group. Our server Emily was very attentive and pleasant. Food was good it arrived promptly and hot. Tasted good and was of good quality. Given the opportunity to return, the effort will be made. It would have been nice if the waitress would have provided that option to me... Perhaps I overlooked the fact that I could politely and kindly order my food the way I prefer. I was in Everett for work, so I popped in for a little lunch. The tap beer selection was mostly IPA, which was disappointing, instead I had merlot, which had a good flavor. The server didn't know off hand about the seasonal beer selection, which was odd. My lunch was a bacon burger and side salad. With a full selection of vinaigrettes I chose the champagne and was impressed with the flavor. Whatever they are doing to keep the lettuce fresh is working because the turgor pressure was great! First time coming here...and the last. Burger had melted plastic on the bun and the burger was completely flavorless. Originally ordered Aloha Burger-came with previously frozen patty, canned pineapple, and the lettuce/tomato were on the bottom of the patty, making the lettuce wilted and the tomatoes hot. Tomatoes delivered to the store precut and served soggy. Asked the server to return the burger and ordered a mushroom burger instead. Still extremely disappointed. Mushrooms were also previously frozen and tasted as if they were dropped in the fryer to heat up to order. No salt or seasoning of any kind added to mushrooms, resulting in another bland burger. The fries were over cooked, unseasoned, and cold. Between my girlfriend and I we both had one bite of the fries and didn't touch them for the rest of the meal. My gf ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was also obviously previously frozen. Overall worst burger place I have ever been to. One more thing. The prices online are cheaper than the actual prices on the menu. I recommend fast food over Bob's Burgers any day and I don't even like fast food. read more
