Fantastic pizza! Stands up, easily, to the New Haven top four. Months since last review and Great Again! Always consistent.

Medium eggplant pizza, ordered slightly well-done.

Ample space in the parking lot, Bobby's is located in a small strip mall. The pizza is reliably delicious - at least the combos I get, typically eggplant and occasionally hot peppers either anchovies. They typically have three beers on tap and a variety of bottles. Foxon park soda of course. This is my go-to Apizza in North Branford.

Best pizza in CT. The toppings are insane and the fresh in house crust makes the experience worth I hope you try this place. Service is the best as well.

Sausage and roasted red peppers, white. Amazing!

Great service and amazing New Haven style pizza! Very clean and the food arrives quickly. They have an extensive menu of pizza, dinners, and appetizers. They always have a local beer on tap, as well as light beer and house wines. They even have a good selection of Foxon Park soda!

Sausage, mushroom, xtra sauce. Good char.

Bobby's pick up. Had to wait beyond pick up time. Don't mind at all! That only tells u how good their Apizza is. Sm muzz xtra sauce. Sm sausage, mushroom. House salad. I've been going here for over 10 yrs. Never, ever had a problem. Service was friendly n accommodating.

Bobby's Apizza - 1179 Foxon Rd - North Branford, CT Bobby's Apizza is a New Haven-style pizzeria that opened in North Branford, Connecticut in 1969. It was founded by restaurateur Robert Ottaviano. It was originally located in North Branford's Giant Oak Shopping Center. It moved to its current location in 1975. In 1980, Ottaviano decided to retire and sold off the pizzeria to Joseph Cappetta. Years later, Ottaviano decided to get back into the pizzeria business and opened Bob and Dee's Pizzeria in East Haven with his wife Dolores "Dee" Ottaviano. Bob and Dee's was open for several years before it closed down. Both Ottaviano and his wife have since passed away. Bobby's Apizza is still owned and operated by the Cappetta Family. They continue to make traditional New Haven-style thin crust apizza, but they have also added more gourmet pies to the menu in recent years. The Cappetta Family also puts native North Branford produce on their pies whenever it is in season. Bobby's has been a favorite pizzeria of my family for several years. Both of my parents grew up in North Branford and went to Bobby's often. One of my uncles even worked there for a time. I still remember the first time my Dad brought my brother and I there to eat pizza when we were children. We also used to get pizza at Bob and Dee's often when it was still open. Every now and then, I get a craving for a good Bobby's pizza. Some of my favorite pies there include the Native Tomato, the Clams Casino (white, clams, bacon, peppers, garlic), the Spicy Buffalo Chicken, the Mediterranean (White cheese blend, roasted red peppers, grilled chicken, marinated artichoke hearts, sliced black olives, Romano cheese, fresh garlic), and of course the Plain Mozzarella pie. Bobby's pizza is excellent and I plan to continue eating it for years and years to come.

I've been to Elicit Brewing Company in Manchester multiple times -- probably around six times at…read morethis point -- and every single visit has been such a fun experience. This place is HUGE and has so many different vibes all in one building, which I absolutely love. The drink selection is one of my favorite parts. They have so many beers on tap, plus cider flights, sour flights, beer flights -- all different types of flights if you're like me and enjoy trying a little bit of everything. And if beer isn't your thing, they have cocktails too, so everyone in your group can find something they like. The food is just as impressive. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are AMAZING -- crispy, flavorful, and honestly one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The burgers are delicious, and the desserts? Oh my goodness. The deep-fried Oreos are next-level. Atmosphere is where Elicit really stands out. There's the big open beer hall feel inside, but also different sections depending on what kind of night you're looking for. It can be chill and casual earlier in the evening, then turn into more of a going-out/club vibe later on. There's a cocktail bar upstairs, and as the night goes on the energy really shifts. In the summer they have bands (sometimes outside), a full outdoor bar, a fireplace, two inside bars, a little quieter lounge area with couches, and even a small game room. Bathrooms upstairs and downstairs make it convenient, and you can rent rooms for private parties too. I also like how the food ordering works -- they give you a pager and you pick up your food when it's ready. Tables are first come, first serve though, so definitely save your spot because you can lose your seat if you're not careful, especially on busy nights. It does get packed on weekends, so I recommend getting there early if you want a good table for your group. But overall, it's one of my go-to spots in Manchester when I want good drinks, great food, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll keep going back to -- and those Philly cheesesteak egg rolls will always bring me back.

So I was super excited when I saw they were hosting a galentines day drag brunch !! The drag show was amazing !!! But I was disappointed that there was no BRUNCH food . You can't have a brunch show and no brunch . They did offer a regular menu to order from . The other problem is that there were no servers so we had to order food and go downstairs pick up our own food and. Then bring it back upstairs... which is very annoying if you are going there for a show and have to leave to get food ! Not to mention there was an issue doors were suppose to open at 10 am so we got there early to get seats settle in and order food . However the doors open well after 10:30 . And possibly an issue with the bartenders ( not being available) but they were able to figure that out thankfully by the 11 am show . So a lot of issues .. the show itself was amazing . The food was okay . I did end up getting the grilled chicken sandwich which was good ( nothing amazing ) and the fries were plain no seasoning . 3/5 for the food . The drinks were good ! I ordered the strawberrry Hugo spritz that had elderflower in it which I really enjoyed all flavours were balanced equally (4/5 ) and then I tried the peach hard palmer which I was not a fan off (3/5 ) Drag show 10/10 ! ( highly recommend ) I wish they advertised it a just a drag show and not a brunch + show ( since there was no brunch options ) ! And also a very limited Valentine's Day cocktails ( only one option of a red velvet martini) Overall fun event but need to plan events better if they do plan on hosting and consider adding food specific for the event ( or not advertise as brunch .. if you don't plan on offering brunch food ) !

Probably because I didn't have much bookmarked for a planned trip for stops in Connecticut but an opportunity did arise to try a couple of their beers and so I pursued it in which I was quite impressed! I had their Premium which I really enjoyed! It was a Helles Lager which I normally really enjoy. This one was exceptional as it had an excellent flavor profile. It was clean, crisp and some sweetness at work. It was smooth and very easy to have more than one during a single seating. The other beer I liked just as much practically. This was a milk stout called Gimmie The Gorbage (no, I didn't misspell the beer title this time) and it too was quite good. A very smooth beer in which you will find chocolate, coffee, cocoa and molasses flavors that make contact with your tastebuds. Also a very enjoyable beer! A very good beer experience this was and grateful for the opportunity that came along on a brewery that wasn't on my list in which it would have been something I really would have missed out on.

The young man that assisted her was polite and excellent at his job. Staff which we knew from Daphanes were nice to see again and seem happy to be there which is great. We went in for dinner on a Saturday with my son who was in from NYC. We wanted to try the new place on the strip. The beer was good. My wife liked her wine. The good pretty much ended with the drinks. The flat bread was a level below bowling alley pizza. Undercooked, soggy, tasteless and doughy. We all agreed - it was terrible. I had the chicken Ceasar wrap - in fact we all did. We all thought it was just ok - nothing I'd care to repeat and also small for me and my son. WHBB management / ownership check out Vinnie's all day cafe in Boca Raton Florida on IG for a master class on chicken Ceasar wraps construction :). You're welcome ! Those wraps are the keys to the castle. I did like the fact that they toasted the wraps before serving. For sides we all tried something different and shared. I got the side of French fries -well done. They were just barely cooked forget well done. My wife got the sweet potato fries. They were the best thing on the table all night. And my son the onion rings. He thought they were on but next time he would opt of the sweet potato fries. If you're not wanting red meat and not wanting fried chicken that's kinda where you land on the grilled chicken Ceasar wrap. A fresh tuna wrap or fresh Tuna in a salad would have been a welcome addition or a 1/2 grilled chicken or a fresh turkey dinner, or even some sushi for some suggestions. I really hope my next trip is better. I'll be back and I want them to succeed. They got the staff part right and the alcohol but for me they need to get the food right for me to keep this place on my regular stop in list. Perhaps I'm not the target market and that's OK too. I'm hoping this place has aspirations to be a "something" for everyone place. And a place I can have a proper Saturday night dinner with my wife. Not solely a little kids fried food place on one side of the spectrum and a big kids beer guzzling establishment where they drink so much they don't need to focus on the food on the other. Our waitress asked how everything was and I pretty much told her the above. She suggested I try the burger next time. She said It's great and from Justin's. So I definitely will next time around. To make it on main street ( for me and my wife ) as more than a bar they are really going to have to improve the food in both quality and variety. I hope they make some changes.
