Fun boba store in Downey. They have so many goodies not just boba. Cute little hair clips, bottled Asian drinks, Labubu trinkets. Super cute! I only saw one worker and she hustles and knows what she's doing.

The drinks and food was amazing loved everything thing about it. The girl that took my order was so nice so the service was good. And the Ambiance was cozy it's a little bit cold but overall I do recommend.

Brown sugar milk tea. It was ok

I wish I would have read the comments before I decided to go. I had not been in years and I decided to give it a try. The staff were not friendly. They didn't acknowledge us when we walked in and had me waiting in silence. A, "hey, we'll be with you in a moment" would have sufficed but they just ignored us. Won't be going there again. I don't want to give money to an established that can't even greet their customers.

Service: 0 didn't get get greeted from the workers, it was awkward. Guy was rude, When we were asking questions, we did mention it was our first time. Drinks :2/10 they were like premade already just seen the guy poor it into the cups from a container (something I've never seen at a boba spot do) Welp for my first experience never coming again.

First things first one I'm biased towards Bobaloca because I've been going since a kid. I'm biased for good reason though. I've been to many boba places but they always miss. Their consistency is unmatched. The boba is always perfect. 5/5 for me I recommend Bobaloca.

The place was cozy, yet the menu was small, not on the wall but in front of the cashier, and it was hard to see when someone ordered a beverage. When I ordered, the drink was pre made, so I could not customize your drink to your standards. My drink was good, but again, I couldn't order less sugar due to "pre made" from the morning.

i've been coming here since i was in middle school! this place is so cute and has such a comfortable atmosphere! The workers are also very kind and generous, overall my favorite boba place.

I agree with my Yelp friend Damien P... Bobaloca is A-ok for your late afternoon bubble tea cravings. The Thai tea (large w/boba=$4.50) is very sweet. Maybe a bit too sweet, but the boba was chewy and consistent down to the last tapioca pearl. The house milk tea (regular=$4.25) with strawberry popping boba was disappointingly bland. Service was nice and friendly (when spoken to, haha) on my first ever visit (5/28/19). I'll be back at it exists in a convenient area. Not right after middle school gets out, though. ***major face palm*** "¿Qué te la bebe?" Crossover Queen of pop and rock, Shakira answered, "Bobaloca, bobaloca, bobaloca." Boba if you're in a hurry and a quick fix. Covid precautions: 5/5 Staff wearing masks. Hand sanitizer available. Plexiglass installed. Social distancing enforced. Contactless. Food: 3/5 I got the classic milk tea with boba. It was just a nice regular boba drink. Nothing fancy. If you want a quick fix, this is your place. It doubles as a small boutique so there's a lot of Knick knacks for sale so I that was very nice to look at things while waiting for my drink.

I love the passion fruit tea and cookie and cream drinks. They are very generous with boba, but they are very pricy for their drinks.:(

The foam with the custom latte art cost an extra $2 but I think it was worth it, at least for my first time. To be honest, Honey Greens seemed like a gimmicky place since I thought the foam art was all that it was known for, but no, their drink quality was actually good! I got the agave matcha latte for myself, and I enjoyed how rich it tasted and how vibrant it was in color. I also added a cold foam which made it too sweet for me. Next time, I plan on ordering an unsweetened matcha latte and add cold foam as the sweetener. I also tried a sip of the lavender matcha and that was the one thing I didn't like because the lavender overpowered the matcha. It was pretty busy for a Friday afternoon with all the tables filled and a short line formed after I walked in. The workers were all so kind, and it was overall a very inviting place with fun decorations and a myriad of art options for the cold foam.

I ordered the Coconut Iced Latte with Sweet Cream Cloud Foam through the app -- paid about $8.50. It was too much on the sweet side but honestly, the sweetness was on me since I added the cloud foam, but the drink itself was about a 6/10. My order was ready when I arrived, and the girl who greeted me was genuinely sweet and welcoming. On my way out, their pastry display caught my eye and I went back to grab a Matcha Pistachio Croissant ($7.50). A different person took my order and she seemed a little bothered when I came back to order, which was a bit off-putting. The croissant itself was disappointing -- it didn't taste fresh, and this was only about 30 minutes after opening. For $7.50, I expected a lot more, especially compared to other spots serving matcha pistachio croissants that are both tastier and more affordable. The shop was nice and clean and it has plenty of seating. That said, their matcha is still easily in my top 3 -- that part never disappoints. I'll keep coming back for that, but I'll be skipping the coffee and pastries going forward.

The waiters are really cool, very nice. This place is legit run by Guatemalans which was pretty cool. I recently visited Guatemala so it was fun to chat with the waiter who noticed my shirt (I was coincidentally wearing a shirt I bought in Guatemala with a picture of Tikal lol). Anywaaaay - I tried the trio tostadas, a tamal and a Mayan iced latte. The tostadas were great. They were very fresh. They're very simple. One is black bean, one is avacado and one is chicken salad. My favorite was the chicken salad. I used their green salsa and it was delicious. The tamales was good. Today I learned I don't really like the flavor of banana leaf that gets absorbed into the tamal. Also, it was primarily made of rice. It had a piece of bell pepper, a little chicken and I think a plum. Aside from the banana leaf I liked the tamale. The latte was delicious. Nice coffee flavor and sweetened perfectly. Definite recommend and I will for sure be back.

I went with the Mayan Mocha, the tamal Chapin, and a chuchito. The Mayan Mocha was the standout. It had this bold, sweetish flavor with notes I've never tasted in coffee before. The tamal Chapin was a bit bland overall and had very little chicken inside. The chuchito had a nice salsa with good flavor, but the masa itself felt a little dry with each bite, even though it was bathed in sauce. The coffee alone makes this place worth a visit.
