More or less my first true experience with boba. Thanks to them, I'm now a convert! I've only tried the Mocha Frapp (with boba, of course) and it's been refreshing and delicious every time. This Boba Loca location also has friendly service and are always prompt making your drinks. Sometimes it can get crowded, but most visits you can be in and out fairly quickly. This place is fantastic! I have only tried a few drinks here but every time, it tastes yummy and they are always consistent. The service is quick and the employees are friendly. The only thing which may be an issue for some is that it is a small place so if it's packed you may have to take your drink with you. Nice clean up to date looking place. They just have the basics though, milk tea, smoothies, Frappes...nothing interesting like at a real tea/boba place. They had boba which was kinda mushy but I've had worst. No grass jelly. I got the almond milk tea it was lukewarm for some reason . My date got a taro slush it was good a little too sweet though. Service was kinda slow but there were only two people working an it was packed so it was expected. 4 stars considering there aren't that many options nearby for decent boba. This is my go to for boba mostly because it's convenient, close to home, and The boba is pretty good. The customer service here is not amazing but it's not bad either. It's just ok a bunch of young girls doing their job trying to get the customers in and out. I just had excellent customer service experience at another boba place with lots of suggestions and the girl was SUPER friendly, which is why I think these girls need to step up their game a notch :) but as far as boba it's good. I don't think it's really missing anything and the prices are pretty good, service is prompt. I'm not a big fan of these chain boba places. They are alright, I've had better boba from non chain places. I got the piña colada with boba and it was good my bf got a strawberry one and it was lacking a bit of flavor. They were about to close so the service was good and prompt. Overall it was okay. I have came here on different days weekdays and weekends and its always the same. Be prepared to wait for your boba. I feel bad for the employee, it's only one person, and there hustling to get your drink made. I blame the mediocre customer service on the store owner of this franchise for not putting two employees. This is probably one of the cleaner/better bobaloca's in the 562 area, but wow.... was the service bad.... I walked in an hour and a half before they closed. They were already sweeping (no big deal at all, I used to work food and I would clean super early too) BUT the problem was that one of the workers made eye contact with me when I walked in and CONTINUED to sweep the entire floor before welcoming me or taking my order! I had to stand there awkwardly waiting for her to finish so I can finally get some service. Boba was of course great. Note to staff: at least welcome the customers and if it's that serious that you can't stop sweeping for a few seconds, then excuse yourself and tell them you'll be right with them in a second. read more

They try their best with the service. They need more staff because there is usually only 3 people working and there should be 4-5 because it take about 8-10 just so they can place the order. If you're coming here be prepared to spend a good 15-20 minutes when there is more than 3 people ordering. I don't usually go to Boba Locas but one of the few times I did I was served by a male employee. In simplest terms, he was rude in the way he would assist me. For example since I do not know the menu very well I asked the description of each drink I was interested in trying and the differences between them since they all sound so alike and he seemed overwhelmed when explaining this. I decided on a milk tea drink with extra boba tapioca pearls. While he was a making this drink I happened to glance around the store and spotted macaroons, which I have never had but heard of and wanted to know the price. Before even beginning to ask for the price, he loudly and quickly answered without looking at me. When he finished making my drink he set it on top of the counter and gave me a tired look and just walked away. This guy also seemed to be by himself and there was no people in here either. Just me and him. Please, I work in customer service where many people visit the restaurant frequently one after the other if not we have a whole occupancy in the room. I doubt it is a hard job to do and I also doubt that this particular individual would like to be treated this way either. I really love this place! The coconut milk tea and Thai Tea are my favorites, but I also like the Jasmine Milk Tea. My son is a huge fan of the Oreo shake and Green Tea Latte. Went on a mission to find some delicious BOBA since we had a terrible experience at a random location in Orange County. I had seen this place a couple of times before so I decided to give it a try. The service was a little slow, they weren't too busy but since there was only one employee working both the register and making drinks we ended up having to wait about 15 minutes to order our drinks. I had the caramel frappé with classic boba, my daughter ordered the strawberry smoothie with strawberry popping boba, which I found both interesting & delicious. The wait time was definitely worth it! The drinks were made to perfection not too sweet but sweet enough. They could use a better array of pastries since I would have loved to have a little snack with my drink but nothing really caught my eye, most of the items were pre packaged. The only odd thing was the jewelry case in the dining area I didn't really get the correlation lol. We will definitely stop by again soon. read more
