Like this place but I was in line where the register is located and there was people by the pick up area And they took their order before mine That bothered me , i been standing there and you go and take someone else's order who was in the section where they give u the drinks read more

This place is close to me and I thought maybe this will be my go to spot. Its very nice inside, spacious. I wanted to know how much grams of protein a scoop is since they have it, the gentleman said "I don't know, just 1 scoop." I asked if he can make me a drink just with any milk with just protein, he said "no we can't do that." They have protein, but they can't serve it by itself with milk? It was just awkward silence and doesn't want to sell me anything. I don't mind paying however much. Just needed protein in my system. Maybe he could've recommended something that's close to it. I feel like this is important for first timers. Maybe I'll try again next time when it's a different employee, and I'll change my review. read more

I been coming here since high school somewhere around 2006. MySpace days when I would sit and be on the computer. The gentleman working there has been there for years since I could remember. This last time I went he seemed upset made a mistake on my drink and didnt want to really change it (miscommunication) i asked for certain boba and he gave me wrong boba on my drink then ended up saying they don't have the boba I asked for which he should of mentioned when I got it .... Not gave me whatever he wanted . Disappointed. read more

Been coming here for over a decade and they've honestly fallen off horribly the boba had the texture of soggy cereal everything tastes watered down and the hispanic male employee is incredibly rude replying with a horrible attitude and using profanity while I was simply trying to place my order. read more

I've always passed by this place and finally got a chance to try it. I got greeted with a smile when I got up to the counter to order. I ordered the Thai tea smoothie boba (blended) it was immaculate ! The boba was soft and perfectly sweetened. Over all the prices are great and their service is amazing, the dining tables and chairs are clean and this location really exceeded my expectations! read more

Boba Loca - two people holding drinks in their hands - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Bell, California

Service here is always great and the drinks are always made fast, a variety of options as well, one of my favorites!!

Came in Monday night. The cashier is amazing, super friendly & gave good customer service. (-: I usually go in for the mocha but decided to try something else thanks to her. read more

she gave me a large when I asked for a small and she had small cups also a lot of flys in the store

I stopped coming here because of the overall quality of the boba drink is not the same. Tastes very water down. I tried it again because my niece wanted Boba. The older cashier said there is only one size when I asked for a regular drink. I said ok. He failed to mention he charged me for large drinks which also came with very little boba. My niece let me know he has been out of regular cups since last week.. I do not recommended this place. If you come here expect a long wait to be charged, upcharged for no reason, bad quality and bad service. The look on the Hispanic cashiers face looks like he hates his job. Really bad vibes. read more

Quick service, cashier is Jack of all trades, please tip him. I've had their thai tea and boba loca coffee, both are good

The flavor Kiwi is so good when it's cold and icy . Just sometimes when you order some certain flavor is all melty .

Don't come here They never have Boba or some ingredient(s) Came 4 times this week cause my kids wanted boba..... No boba at all if the boba isn't ready why open at 11 open till 5pm or 10pm. read more

Been coming here for years ! So amazing ! Love the drinks ! And they expanded their menu and food items ! Chill place to catch up and grab a quick refresher! Staff is amazing ! read more

This was not my first time coming here, but it's been a long time. I liked the flavor of the drink, but the boba was really small and very hard with no taste whatsoever. What makes me very uncomfortable was that 4 Asian ladies were staring at me like they were looking at a strange animal they've never seen before, while I was waiting for my drink. I noticed it and looked at them, but they still kept staring at me. It's nothing to do with this place, but do I want to come back here again? Probably not. read more

This is a treat to have. We come on Fridays after a long week of our busy life's. The drinks are always available and so tasty. The ambiance is basic and clean. Can't wait for next Friday. read more

My boyfriend and I got a hotel around here and I was craving for boba and luckily this place was nearby. Customer service was nice and we were greeted and helped with but ngl, the drinks weren't what we expected or tbh, I wasn't expecting much but was willing to try. Whenever I go to new places I always get a fruit drink because fruit drinks are a lot safer than milk base drinks. I ordered a large mango black tea with lychee jelly & rainbow jelly + boba and my bf ordered a strawberry matcha with boba. I didn't get the correct toppings with my drinks but it still tasted good and my bf and I didn't really enjoy the strawberry matcha, couldn't really pin point what was off but it just wasn't it. We paid roughly $15 for both drinks + tip. There were only 2 ppl working that night, and the line was accumulating after us, but they got orders out at a decent time but felt bad. they did have a sign up stating they were sorry if the drinks aren't the same and it was due to covid and shipments and that's understandable but unfortunate because maybe what they needed was what would've made their drinks great you know? Aside from that, there are no dine in chairs were up and boxes were around the store with products they use for the drinks but there are outdoor seatings! Boba had no taste but tbh , I like boba just for the chew but if boba did have a hint of sweetness to it, it could've bought the drink to maybe a better state. Maybe I'll come back when I'm around the area to try something else ! read more

I don't recommend this place. It hurts to even type this but I've been coming here since 2007 and it fell off. 1. They don't have free internet anymore. Back in the day they had a fully furnished desktop area between the restrooms and couches. It's no longer there. 2. The drinks are overpriced and don't taste well. The last time I was here I ordered a Thai iced tea, it tasted like water. There's so many other places near this location with better prices. 3. Finally the customer service. Idk what the Hispanic male employee has endured but as far as I'm concerned he's always had a shit face with no desire to be there nor interact with the customers. I get it... we all have bad days. Just makes me not want to buy anything. read more

This is disgusting there was a buger in the drink luckly I kelp the straw and saw something weird and I bring the straw out and there's a hairy buger never coming back very disrespectful!!!! read more

This place is pretty good. Fast service. Decent variety on the menu. Boba and jellies are available. I would like to try some more from the menu. Closing hour is at 9:20 p.m. seems so strange. Maybe my opinion of this place will change if I visited it more often. read more

Love this place for boba. I can get a large coconut milk tea with boba for $3.95. It's one of the lesser priced boba places that's v good. This is my go to. No complaints! Except the guy who does the cashiering, all the girls are super nice and chill but that big guy so cold and has an attitude. ALL THE TIME. I go often and whenever he's there I'm bummed. My mood drops, until I walk out with my boba. But with the girls, they're super nice. Can't even see their faces with covid. But I know it's the same guy I've been getting a lot lately. Big guy with a big ol attitude. read more

Empty. Fast. Tasty. Usually find parking right in front. But this is a high schooler hangout hence the unpleasant restrooms with tagging up to the ceiling (although some of graffiti is pretty funny- "Diabitis Boy"). There aren't many boba locations around here so it's nice that it's actually good and the service is solid. I like that the boba's aren't overly sweet either. read more

Hey Yelpers, I feel like Boba Loca is mostly slush base, but that's totally fine! The staff is friendly, and they will answer any doubts. If you're looking for good ideas for a date, I recommend coming to Boba Loca and then head over to Treder Park which is around the corner. Now, if you don't have a date, I still recommend going to the park. I got the guava boba slush. It was amazing. read more

first time going here. there was one person in line i was there at about 12:15pm and got my taro pretty fast. it was $5 which is the standard price everywhere I go now. the cashier was a woman and she made it well. taro tasted good! i went to another donut place in downtown that didn't make it well because the boba things were like a bad texture so i needed a new spot and here it was good, so they're on my radar for boba now :) i always and only get taro so im not sure about other flavors and if anyone else like me was wondering, they do not have macarons at this location. read more

Great customer service? Are you kidding me? HA! Sure they were efficient but quality was pure garbage!! But what do you expect when you have Asian-based drink spot in a city that does really well on their Mexican food? That's like going to Rowland Heights (a city that does really well on their Asian food) and saying that their bionicos place is amazing. I'm just being honest. Customer service was not great. My husband told them the boba was off and they just told him "oh. That's all we have." Really? You couldn't make an effort to apologize, make a new drink, or even a refund? So lazy. Anyways, the drinks here are pricey, they're made with burnt/plastic-smelling boba and way too much sugar, and customer service was just not great. read more

In my neck of the woods, which happens to be around this area, it is often quite rare to find a place that sells boba milk tea. Enter however, Boba Loca. Boba Loca is located in a shopping center on the corner of Atlantic and Gage Ave. During the summer is when I frequent this location more so often. They have an array of different flavors here, my personal favorite being the honeydew milk tea boba. I am not one to ask for light boba! The more, the better. The guy that works here is usually very attentive with his clients. It is small inside with a few couches and tables. Probably 10 people the most can fill the place up inside to capacity. Overall, I am a fan and do return every now and then to satisfy my boba craving. I have never had a complaint. They do however have a computer that is free to use for all customers. Just don't expect it to ever be empty because the local kids come in and waste their time checking up on their facebook or what not! read more

I love this coffee & drive from IE 68 miles! although it wasn't a pleasant experience this time , I get the COVID restrictions but if they read the CDC guidelines nothing applies to the bathrooms how unprofessional the way the cashier used the bathroom term worst part the owner was there !! to have to drive all the way here for a rude response of the bathroom is not open to public !!! Public -Yeah there was a purchase of more then 4drinks!! I could of understand if the bathroom was out of service and upon checking the bathroom door there was no sign of out of order!!! Yeah not worth the gas this time! read more

I've been coming here to this location since I was in high school I'm 25 now Hadn't stopped by for a min so decided I'd grab one for my boyfriend and I I got a chocolate indulgence and a vanilla one Both tasted like watered down milk. I went back to change them for another flavor politely the young girl told the Hispanic guy he said to give me my money back I said I don't want my money back I'd just change the flavor He then proceeded to tell the girl to tell me that, that would be the last time they change a drink for me. I told her that it wasn't my fault that they don't taste good. So for that they get one star Hispanic guy is never welcoming always has a moody look to him. Smh read more

I go at least once a week. I have tried many different Boba places and this one is one of my fave spots.
