Today March 25th at around 3:15pm I sent my husband to buy me a strawberry "skippy" I asked him before he got out the car to ask for extra chile since last Wednesday my "skippy" was NOT spicy at all. Just tasted like strawberry and limon. He gets my order we drive off and I taste my skippy and AGAIN no chile. We had to drive back and ask the lady to put more chile and she gives my husband a very bad attitude. This lady is the same lady who made my skippy last week. Idk if she's new? Cause I didn't get off the car this week or last. I know there's an older women who's very nice and has been there for years. Anyways this lady does NOT know how to make a skippy!!!! Me and my sister come here a lot. Spend a lot of money because it's NOT cheap here! We've been coming here for years since I was a little girl and my dad used to bring us. (I'm 34 now) This is (was) my favorite paleteria but people like this lady ruin it. Lady if we asked for extra chile just put extra chile. If you want to charge me for the extra chile CHARGE ME!!! but don't get mad and give attitude for YOUR mistake! We literally had to drive back because I was not happy with my order. Learn how to make a skippy!!!! I'm no longer coming here. Very very unprofessional service with this lady!

Food: 9/10 Service: 8/10 This is one of my favorite peleterías out there! Definitely recommend you try their "skippys", if you know you know. If you'd don't, go and find out! You have to be patient as they do get a line and can take a little bit to make your order but this is not a bad thing. This is a cash only establishment and the parking can be a little limited with the shopping center its in. No indoor seating, but definitely worth it!

Not cool! We haven't been here in years And i wanted to show my kid how good their skippys are. Haven't been here in probably 15 years I always talk to her about how good these raspados used to be. We made a 45 minute drive Just to get here and see they close at 6. When Yelp says 7pm. We even tried calling before driving here but their phone doesn't even work. Ugh! Just a terrible experience! Or maybe I'm just moody and upset at the drive and the disappointment

It's been over 5 years since I had came back to paleteria limon and the quality and flavor is still the same. Their skippys are the best summer treat. It's almost like a diablito but 100x better. The only downside is it's cash only but other than that there's no cons. Their staff is very friendly and it can be packed sometimes but they attend everybody as fast as possible. So happy I rediscovered them!

2 scoops of ice cream. Coco & Cajeta. Relatively small.

Who doesn't love Mexican paletas! We don't come often but if it's hot and there's no line we're stopping. Today's order was a ice cream double of Coco and Cajeta. Hubs ordered the Skippy de Limon. My ice cream review: it was delish!!! I didn't want it to finish! The coco was my favorite, every spoonful was creamy coconutty ( is that even a word) and chewy with coco bits. The cajeta was light in flavor, I wish it was a tad bit sweeter and it had more of the cajeta flavor. Over all my 2 scoops of ice cream were yummy. Hubs loves their skippy's today he got the limon (lime) flavor and said so far it's his favorite. CS: good!

Everything I've tried here is great especially the raspados and the skippies! We've also tried the adult skippies with liquor and those are delicious, too. Be prepared to wait in line, though, if it's a hot day!

    "Original" Skippy and Mango Skippy

If you love chamoy as much as I do, you have to try Paleteria Limon and order the Skippy!! I personally really like the "Original" Skippy that has tamarind in it. Basically, a Skippy is shaved ice with lemon juice, lots of chamoy and chili powder. Sour and spicy: my favorites!! I also asked for extra chili powder to give it more of a kick. If it was located closer to where I live, I'd definitely be a regular. But since it's not, I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.

The famous Skippy in tamarindo and pineapple.

The famous Skippy in tamarindo and pineapple. Bomb and fresh. Raspado with a twist. Definitely need to try. The limon is very refreshing and aromatic while the fresh fruit syrup is just right on the sweetness and the chile adds the perfect spice. Worth the 6 bucks a pop for the large.

This is an OG Mexican snack shop that has the best Mexican antojitos (cravings). They have paletas frescas de leches y de agua. They got nachos and all the bomb Mexican chips. The BEST part of my visits are they well known Skippy!! Omg!!! It's a must! It's a spicy raspado They chop some fruit of your choice from Mango, Fresa, Limon . I choose mango all the time and it's always a delish. Check em out for sure!

I grabbed a butter wreath and proceeded to the check out line to order a Thai Tea with Boba. The cashier was done taking a woman's order, and as I proceeded to walk to the register, she looked at me and walked away. I really thought she was going to make a drink or help a customer out, but was I wrong! She walked towards the back area, flipped through some pages on the wall, and proceeded to talk to the 3 female workers. Two of which were passing the phone around. They conversated and laughed for about three minutes. Meanwhile, the male worker patiently worked on the customer's drinks. He seemed to be the only one on the floor actually doing his job! One of the female workers looked at me and walked towards me with her head down. She politely took my order but by then I was annoyed. I paid for my drink and my bread, (which btw was burnt from the bottom). Unfortunately, I did not notice until I got home. This location needs to train their staff all around. Burnt bread and horrible service. I'd much rather drive to the 85 in Gardena. They have waaaaaay better customer service.
