Food: 9/10 Service: 8/10 This is one of my favorite peleterías out there! Definitely recommend you try their "skippys", if you know you know. If you'd don't, go and find out! You have to be patient as they do get a line and can take a little bit to make your order but this is not a bad thing. This is a cash only establishment and the parking can be a little limited with the shopping center its in. No indoor seating, but definitely worth it!

Not cool! We haven't been here in years And i wanted to show my kid how good their skippys are. Haven't been here in probably 15 years I always talk to her about how good these raspados used to be. We made a 45 minute drive Just to get here and see they close at 6. When Yelp says 7pm. We even tried calling before driving here but their phone doesn't even work. Ugh! Just a terrible experience! Or maybe I'm just moody and upset at the drive and the disappointment

It's been over 5 years since I had came back to paleteria limon and the quality and flavor is still the same. Their skippys are the best summer treat. It's almost like a diablito but 100x better. The only downside is it's cash only but other than that there's no cons. Their staff is very friendly and it can be packed sometimes but they attend everybody as fast as possible. So happy I rediscovered them!

2 scoops of ice cream. Coco & Cajeta. Relatively small.

Who doesn't love Mexican paletas! We don't come often but if it's hot and there's no line we're stopping. Today's order was a ice cream double of Coco and Cajeta. Hubs ordered the Skippy de Limon. My ice cream review: it was delish!!! I didn't want it to finish! The coco was my favorite, every spoonful was creamy coconutty ( is that even a word) and chewy with coco bits. The cajeta was light in flavor, I wish it was a tad bit sweeter and it had more of the cajeta flavor. Over all my 2 scoops of ice cream were yummy. Hubs loves their skippy's today he got the limon (lime) flavor and said so far it's his favorite. CS: good!

Everything I've tried here is great especially the raspados and the skippies! We've also tried the adult skippies with liquor and those are delicious, too. Be prepared to wait in line, though, if it's a hot day!

    "Original" Skippy and Mango Skippy

If you love chamoy as much as I do, you have to try Paleteria Limon and order the Skippy!! I personally really like the "Original" Skippy that has tamarind in it. Basically, a Skippy is shaved ice with lemon juice, lots of chamoy and chili powder. Sour and spicy: my favorites!! I also asked for extra chili powder to give it more of a kick. If it was located closer to where I live, I'd definitely be a regular. But since it's not, I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.

The famous Skippy in tamarindo and pineapple.

The famous Skippy in tamarindo and pineapple. Bomb and fresh. Raspado with a twist. Definitely need to try. The limon is very refreshing and aromatic while the fresh fruit syrup is just right on the sweetness and the chile adds the perfect spice. Worth the 6 bucks a pop for the large.

This is an OG Mexican snack shop that has the best Mexican antojitos (cravings). They have paletas frescas de leches y de agua. They got nachos and all the bomb Mexican chips. The BEST part of my visits are they well known Skippy!! Omg!!! It's a must! It's a spicy raspado They chop some fruit of your choice from Mango, Fresa, Limon . I choose mango all the time and it's always a delish. Check em out for sure!

The restaurant is small, quaint, and full of heart, the kind of place where you can feel the love and care that goes into every dish. The food is absolutely exceptional--truly home-cooked in the best sense of the word. Every bite tastes like it came straight out of your mom's kitchen: comforting, flavorful, and made with intention. Nothing feels rushed or mass-produced; it's clear everything is prepared with pride and tradition. Don't be fooled by the unassuming location or modest size. This spot delivers big on quality and authenticity. If you're craving real, soulful, homemade Mexican food and a genuine, personal dining experience, Rajas y Crema is exactly where you want to be. Highly recommended--you'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

My favorite appetizer are the Molletes which are toasted bolillos with chorizo and bean spread topped with cheese and pico de gallo. My favorite plates are the Carne en su Jugo, which is pork in green chilli sauce, and the Albondigas beef meatball soup. The soup is plentiful and doesn't disappoint in flavor. The meatballs are tender and have a perfect flavor profile of herbs and spice. Honestly, nothing disappoints here. The Pollo in Mole is also delicious. The tortillas are fresh and hand made. The Pollo con Rajas is creamy, cheesy, flavorful and the chicken has always been juicy underneath all that sauce, cooked perfectly. I've also had the teak tacos and they're filling, tasty, and a perfectly compliment to anything you will order. The sides are usually rice and beans and they've always been perfect. The rice is soft and the beans are addicting. Javier is always warm and friendly, he does an amazing job with his restaurant. He tends to his patrons wonderfully and deserves all praise, as well as his staff. They compliment the small dining area and make you feel like you're eating at home or with family. I'll gladly continue to eat at Rajas con Crema every time I'm in town. Parking is street parking so it can be iffy. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience!

Our normal breakfast spot started opening later since the pandemic started so I was told to search for another spot that was able to provide us breakfast at 6AM. She was super sweet and took my order and was very helpful and patient. We ordered out 35 Ham, Cheese & Egg sandwiches and she even gave us a 10% discount! Placed a 50% deposit to secure our meal over the phone and the rest was paid the day of. One of our directors went to pick up the meal and he said he had a great experience as well. Everything was ready to go on time and nice and hot. Unfortunately I was unable to try the sandwich as I was not apart of the crew this year but I heard great things from my coworkers!! The fruit plate had only 2 fruits which was disappointing when I asked them to include everything. They also added raisins when I request no raisins. The place looks nice but the wait time was really long. I had to wait about 45 minutes for my two items which was crazy because the fruit is already chopped and the agua fresca is already made. Other ppl there had the same issue and some had been waiting even longer and were upset and annoyed because of the wait. The staff seems to be running around everywhere, and bumping into one another. I assume because they are somewhat new and haven't figured out how to run efficiently. I probably wouldn't come back unless it's the only spot nearby. I personally feel there are other spot that taste better and more efficient. I wish them the best because it's not easy to run a business and it seems like they put ALOT of money into the location.
