My boyfriend and I have been here twice already. The first time he got a honeydew slushie with boba. I got a lychee slushie with boba and lychee jelly. His honeydew slushie was made perfectly. It was so delicious, I was a little jealous. The boba was soft and chewy just the way I like it. Mine on the other hand, was a little disappointing because my boba ended up freezing I guess, so the boba was hard and tasted awful. Then, to top it all off there was way too much lychee jelly. They went lychee jelly overload. So his first experience was good, but mine not so much. I always like giving second chances though. My second experience was 10x better. I got the almond milk tea with boba. My boyfriend got a taro slushie with boba. Both drinks were made very well. My almond milk tea was the BEST almond milk tea I've ever had. His taro slushie tasted sweet and fresh. I also heard they use real taro to make their taro drinks. The boba in both of our drinks was cooked perfectly. It was soft, chewy, and delicious. I was also given extra boba, so I was extra happy! Overall, I definitely recommend trying Bobaloca. I think the person who made my drink the first time did something wrong and that's why my boba was frozen/hard. Don't come here unless you have time to spare. They took about 40 minutes just to make me a crepe. The crepe itself was delicious...but the fact that I had to wait so long for such a small order shows a lack of organization. I'd give it more stars if I didn't have to wait in the heat. I had the earl grey milk tea with boba and it was the worst I've ever had (in awhile). Came here to try since it's close to Steamboat. The customer service and price was OK ($3.50 for a regular size) hence the 2 stars. The milk tea tasted SOOO weird (mixture of sour and overly sweet and really bad artificial creamer). Convenient place in Park n Shop, by downtown Concord but I would give this place a pass. The flavors are way too artificial tasting, I think it is not fresh at all. I've been to this place long ago when it first opened and ordered a pina colada drink with boba and it just tasted way off from the name. Decided to give it another try and was disappointed yet again.. ordered an early grey milk tea with boba and I couldn't even finish 1/3 of it. Maybe it's what I order but usually whenever I order those drinks else where they taste fine. Tried my sisters taro milk tea and it was ok. The flavor here is just too tart and not bearable tasting for me, doesn't seem like they use quality or fresh ingredients -- just powder or artificial flavoring. This place is AMAZING! I can't judge on all of their drinks because I have absolutely loved their taro slush so much that it is almost all I ever get! I also like their oreo slush but the taro is pretty amazing. I like that they also have games but their connect four is sort of broken lol! I love that they have both regular boba and different flavors of popping boba, I definitely switch off between the two. Great spot for a quick little boba fix! read more

Very bad customer service. I asked the employee about a drink that was on a promotional poster the employee didn't know what the drink was. The manager helped him but got the drink wrong. I asked them a second time and the manager doesn't pay attention to detail. Very rude tried to pass off the stuffing off like any other drink. I love this boba place! Probably my favorite local one atm. The selection here is amazing! There's so many drinks to choose from and there's a good amount of toppings to choose from also. The prices are reasonable for the sizes so I'm pretty happy. I also love the added desserts they have here! They have shaved ice, crêpes, and macarons!! Probably three of my favorite desserts. I personally love their take on mango smoothies. It definitely refreshes me whenever I drink it. Another cool thing about this boba place is they have games for customers to play with while they wait for their order! I love coming here with friends and playing their board and card games. Very cute boba place. I took forever because they had so many options. It was a bit too sweet for me so ask if they can go less unless you want syrup. They have games you can play which is nice, too bad a lady got a bit upset with me breastfeeding while I was covered up but I don't hold that against bobaloca. I used to come here quite often but have been disappointed as of recently. I usually ask for a lighter bake on my crape, and a few times now they have over cooked it. Something I was willing to look over but I had a upsetting experience We drove from Danville which is a good distance since there is no crape place near our house. I went in at like 8:45 and they refused to make me a crape to go. They said they weren't serving anymore I guess they don't mind losing business along with good costumers. I think they prefer to go home early than make money. I was told by a guy with glasses and black hair working the night shift on 8-28 in case the owner reeds these reviews.. which I hope he does because if not he will be loosing a lot of business. To top it all off the atmosphere Is also not very enjoyable, also it's quite hot in the store like they don't run their air conditioning, service is also never really pleasant, they are not friendly often it seems like they don't like being there. I was curious about this place and my friend and I gave it a shot. I ordered thai milk tea (they were out of coconut milk tea!) with extra boba of course! and thought the Thai milk tea was very flavorful. I would compare the flavor to the Thai milk teas prepared at many Thai restaurants! I was disappointed with the boba unfortunately the boba lacked a lot of flavor. The boba at quickly is better than this place. It's really hard to find a good boba tea place but I do still Rate this place a 3 to 3.5 out of 5 stars. I suggest the locals to give this place a try because the tea is good and the owners are very sweet. We ran into this place by accident. We were on our way home from Fremont and had to stop by to use the restroom and stop by 99 Ranch Market. This place, like many other boba places has a full menu of options and the drink are very good. I believe they also have a rewards or punch card program. That is great if you frequent these types of shops. There aren't many boba places in the Greater Sacramento area but this one was good. I like the lounge idea of this place. Great place if you are looking for somewhere to hang with friends since they have a bunch of board games out to play like Jenga and Connect Four. As for drinks, they have lots of options and flavors (teas, smoothies, sno-cones, waffles, etc), but taste is just ok. If you care more about taste than atmosphere, I'd probably recommend Sharetea instead. But Bobaloca definitely wins for "best place to hang out." read more

Stopped in Concord to see friends & saw shaved ice & crepes. It was 10:30pm and I wanted a crepe but didn't know what kind just a crepe with strawberries. This amazing crepe maker made the most delicious crepe I have ever tasted! Strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream = heaven! Hubby & kids got a shaved ice the size of a small bucket for $5 and it fed 3 people. Good prices and amazing food! The place was very clean and there were board games on the tables. read more
