Finally, as a promotion, the very friendly staff gave us a free Oolong milk tea with oolong jelly! Nice! Their milk tea is extremely rich and full of "tea" flavor. I felt as though the peach in my black peach milk tea was a bit lost in my drink with my jelly types- next time I'll opt for only one flavor of jelly. The jellies were smooth and flavorful- the black sesame had a nice depth of flavor without being too sweet. The Thai tea jelly was great. My boyfriend's matcha with brown sugar boba was sweeter, but very good. The boba was perfectly cooked. The free drink (oolong milk tea with oolong jelly) was DELICIOUS! The tea and the jelly had a rich, toasty flavor. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish it all because the milk was so rich and we had already tried our own drinks. In the future, I'll probably stick to a small drink- the milk is very high quality, but very rich alongside the jellies. Staff was very friendly, and it was clean. I don't know the exact volume of the cup, but it seems a little bigger than normal bobas due to its width (but maybe I'm tripping). Ultimately, I spent under $10 for a customized drink that I love and couldn't be happier! I loved the taste of the tea specifically and the sweetness of the rest of the drink. Nomad Boba definitely leans on the sweeter side for boba shops. I'm typically a 25% sugar level kind of boba drinker, but I have consistently found Nomad Boba way too sweet for me even at 25% sugar level. I'm also not the biggest fan of their matcha blends. For drinks, I would highly recommend their Thai teas. They offer different blends of Thai teas! It's up there for one of the better Thai teas I've had in Arizona so far.
