Quality/Quantity - The Chai Horchata sample was the best my daughter has ever had. But it would probably be too sweet for an authentic Horchata drinker. She and our guest also really liked the drink they got. Atmosphere - Cool decor, see pictures. I think I am missing quite a few pictures, sorry. Even the tables are painted. Open 7 days a week from noon to 9pm or 10pm. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Good, counter service. Price - $14. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since mid 2022.

3.5/5 Decent bubble tea and food. It's nothing out of the ordinary but it's convenient since it's in Tempe Marketplace. Many drinks here are not customizable for sweetness and the pho combo has some limitations on what drink you can order with it. I ended up with the beef and meatball pho combo with the tropical lime drink. You can order either at the kiosk or at the counter. Since it was our first time and I had a few questions about the menu we ordered at the counter. When we were here they seemed shortstaffed which led to some long lines at the counter. The pho was alright. It was a good sized amount of broth with rice noodles, scallions, two meatball halves and some slices of beef. Fresh Thai basil and other accountrements were offered to the side. The tropical lime was tangy and refreshing. The sweetness level is fixed for this drink but it wasn't too sweet for me. I liked the bits of fruit in the drink too. Since it was our first time we had a few questions about the different drinks and what was included in some of the combos. The cashier was good at answering our questions.

Super cute place! Selfie station too, but you'll have to wait at least 10 minutes to get a drink. There were only a handful of people in the store and there were three workers we saw, not sure what was taking so long ( maybe they were restocking?) one customer walked out, guess she decided she didn't want to wait? They have food and nice tables to sit at - we got a brown sugar boba. I noticed there was some rewards club, but the employee taking our order didn't mention anything and I didn't ask. After waiting 10 minutes or longer, we got the drink - The boba was served in a cute cup, but BOYYYYYY WAS IT SAWWWWEEET!!! Wowza! Sugar!!! And the boba were so little and tasted like they'd been in their liquid for quite some time! Very small and easily disintegrated. Nice to try something new, but we'll try the yogurt shop next store, next time.

Quick and friendly service. Good options to offer, should have gotten the spicy but I was sharing so I had to keep it sweet. I'll be back

This place is fun! Lots of bright, colorful decor and seating. I ordered the pumpkin latte milk tea with boba and asked for 50% sweet. When I tried it, I was surprised at how sweet it still was, and even asked to make sure they had actually done 50% (they said they did). I also ordered the mega combo which came with fries, 3 egg rolls and 3 fish cakes. The food did take close to 20+ minutes to prepare, but everything was hot and fresh with spicy mayo drizzled on top. I didn't really care for the fries, but the other items were tasty.

Oh gross! This place is infested with bugs! Took my friend from out of town here and we sat by the table by the boba workers. We saw a small cockroach crawl by. Looked around and looked into the kitchen and there was so many dead bugs and little bugs crawling around. Disgusting! One of the workers I think saw us looking and he started sweeping. Sweeping up the bugs and such. Definitely gross and definitely would never come back. Beware. There is a nasty roach bug infestation here!!!! I would be afraid to eat the food here.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend getting the grass jelly topping here. The kind they use isn't soft enough to sip through the straw, so it ends up getting left for the end. Service was just okay - got my order wrong and had to redo it. Waited 10min for 2 egg rolls. On the upside, their jasmine milk tea is really yummy, and they had fun flavor options and snacks to try.

I was very careful to order my Boba tea. I wanted a clear jasmine tea with brown sugar, Boba and a cream top and I made sure to say this like five different ways, but I still ended up with the jasmine milk tea. He was not listening to me and he wrote it down wrong. Now I did not ask him to remake it and I did not let management know but The next time I will make sure it's even more clear and I will show him a picture. My son's drink was very good but very sweet. Otherwise, service was great.

Some drinks.

Iris T., you make me feel boba-ly! When a Yelper from Honolulu is paying your state a visit, you gotta get boba! I was really torn between choosing a tried-and-true place or a new place where we can experience it together. The new place won. I ordered a peach oolong tea at 50% sweetness, and while a little too sweet for my taste, it wasn't bad. Boba Toko is a great place to grab a drink while shopping at Tempe Marketplace. I don't think I would go out of my way to visit this boba spot, but I wouldn't hesitate to grab a drink if I was waiting for a table at Gen or something.

I tried out their taro milk tea. The taste was quite bland and lacking any meaningful flavor. I will say that their cups are of high quality. I just wish they would put that effort into their actual tea.

Super excited to try out this boba place in Tempe! Super cute spot, the atmosphere was up beat and service was good! We ordered a free different drinks: Taro milk tea By the bay Strawberry milk Pink dream. I got the Taro and was honestly disappointed, the taste was not great extremely sweet and left a bad after taste, and the boba balls were super small! But all the other drinks were enjoyable and delicious! The fruit in the " by the bay" was great the watermelon chunks still had the nice crunch and sweetness to them! We liked that alot!!

Not good. Disappointed by the toppings and the flavor. The tea itself is strong but the milk teas don't have the right balance.

Friendly service. Milk tea was 90% milk, couldn't taste anything else. Chicken and fries were extremely salty.

There is a bathroom requiring a code. I appreciated the free parking in the garage and the boba signs that pointed me where to go and find Hechalou Tea & Jelly. I wanted to taste a bit of everything- I tried the Black Peach Milk Tea with the Thai Tea and Black Sesame jellies. He got the brown sugar matcha with boba. Finally, as a promotion, the very friendly staff gave us a free Oolong milk tea with oolong jelly! Nice! Their milk tea is extremely rich and full of "tea" flavor. I felt as though the peach in my black peach milk tea was a bit lost in my drink with my jelly types- next time I'll opt for only one flavor of jelly. The jellies were smooth and flavorful- the black sesame had a nice depth of flavor without being too sweet. The Thai tea jelly was great. My boyfriend's matcha with brown sugar boba was sweeter, but very good. The boba was perfectly cooked. The free drink (oolong milk tea with oolong jelly) was DELICIOUS! The tea and the jelly had a rich, toasty flavor. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish it all because the milk was so rich and we had already tried our own drinks. In the future, I'll probably stick to a small drink- the milk is very high quality, but very rich alongside the jellies. Staff was very friendly, and it was clean. Parking is a bit confusing, but just follow the signs and you will be OK. Can't wait to come back and try a slushy or green tea.

I personally don't thrive in heat though and the shop is a little hot. It doesn't feel very well ventilated. You have options to adjust the sweetness of the drink to your liking, how much ice is in your drink, and if you want additional toppings. I highly recommend Crafti for people who are looking to sip on some of the best tailored boba drinks in the Valley. :)

There's free WiFi, individual men and women's bathrooms, a quiet ambiance (at least it was on the Sunday afternoon when I visited), and board games! I inquired if they make the ceylon black tea in a milk tea and was informed that that's exactly what the boba milk tea is. The boba cost is included in the drink price. Although it wasn't on the menu, I asked for a foam on top, and a vanilla cold foam was added on top of my drink for an additional $1. I don't know the exact volume of the cup, but it seems a little bigger than normal bobas due to its width (but maybe I'm tripping). Ultimately, I spent under $10 for a customized drink that I love and couldn't be happier! I loved the taste of the tea specifically and the sweetness of the rest of the drink. Nomad Boba is a cozy Vietnamese inspired boba shop with cute honeycomb and bee style decor. There is seating inside on some couches. Nomad Boba definitely leans on the sweeter side for boba shops. I'm typically a 25% sugar level kind of boba drinker, but I have consistently found Nomad Boba way too sweet for me even at 25% sugar level. I'm also not the biggest fan of their matcha blends. For drinks, I would highly recommend their Thai teas. They offer different blends of Thai teas! It's up there for one of the better Thai teas I've had in Arizona so far. What's interesting is that their Thai tea is a little smoky. I love it for that intrigue. Nomad Boba is a little difficult to find in the Culdesac if you're not looking for it.
