When my cousin and I visited, the flower fridges were empty. There were a few small bouquets by the counter that were beautifully arranged. They had run out of quite a few ingredients. I wanted to try their turquoise matcha, but they didn't have any matcha left. So I got a hot Rose Cake latte with almond milk. The combination of white mocha and raspberry was good, just a little too sweet for me. I imagine this cafe looked beautiful when it was full of flowers and decor. This location is not ideal - it's tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza, not visible on the main road. I'm so glad they still have location in Tempe, and I'm definitely going to check it out!

Their Banana Bread Latte is to die for, if you like banana and even if you don't like banana you need to have this latte. I was a little shocked by the sticker price at the end for a small tea and 2 pastries ($19), but it is Ahwatukee after all, and the bread and coffee cake slices were huge!! I cut them in half to share with my roommate when I got back home. The tea was whipped perfectly and it was delicious but still a little sweet even with asking for light vanilla, but I still enjoyed it. The coffee cake was rich and sweet and moist. It was really good but also very sweet. The banana bread won it all and is what gave the extra star to bring it to 4stars. It was perfectly baked, not overly sweet, warm, and scrumptious. It reminded me of my mom's banana bread & made me want to bake some of my own!! The space is a decent size and really neat and clean. The bikes on the wall are cool, and love the wall with merchandise and other goodies. It's a great spot to meet friends for coffee, to study, or do some work. I considered getting the strawberry matcha, but got the mango matcha instead because my friend had tried it before and really liked it. I was happy with my decision, as the mango tasted very fresh. They had a few sweet and savory pastries, but I didn't try any. We sat on the comfy, cushioned chairs and chatted for nearly two hours! It's a relatively small space and can get pretty quiet at times, so I hope we weren't too loud lol. I would definitely come back here again. Note: They're not open on Sundays. We had planned to go on a Sunday a couple of weeks before, then realized that it wasn't open.

The mango puree was fresh and a great addition to the matcha. My husband got the French vanilla coffee which was also pretty good. For my coffee beverage, I ordered a flat white as it's a good indicator of a decent coffee shop. Happy to report they passed the raw sugar test (put raw sugar on top and quality foam should hold up the sugar). They have great espresso and use one of the best espresso machines I've seen at coffee shops (La Marzocco). Loved the flavor and the foam was divine! Definitely return here for the coffee alone as it's worth braving the parking lot.
