I love a good ube and taro combination and I would recommend if you also like Ube. The Ube overpower the drink a bit more, but the flavor is good (especially for the mix of flavors). I especially like how you can select whether you want taro pieces in your drink or not. This provides a great customizable experience. The boba is good, chewy, and sweet. The staff is also very nice, and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside in case you wanted to chat over a drink. Overall good shop with options to order on a kiosk or in person!

Most people would reasonably expect milk to be the standard ingredient, not a substitute that costs more. Won't be coming back. I know The Alley is known to have sweet drinks so I went in knowing that. My drink was on the sweeter side but I completely understand since they use syrups but it wasn't overpowering. Instead of making it a big deal, the bobarista decided to make me a new one. This automatically made the service excellent; she had quick problem solving skills and figured out what had happened.
