I always had good experiences with Boba Bliss. The ingredients are clean. I ordered Assam Black Tea with whole milk today assuming it would be look the same as they posted online with fluffy milk on top and tea at the bottom. Instead I got a drink already mixed like a milk tea. I asked one of the girls there and she said it's part of protocol they have to mix it. Then the pictures they posted online is misleading. I wouldn't order if the tea was mixed after they make it. read more

I decided to stop by since I was in Dublin, and ordered one of their seasonal drinks, the hojicha latte with cheese cream. They also have a version of this with soybean cream instead. You can't adjust sweetness for this drink. Service was fast and friendly. It was pretty busy inside and we had to wait a little bit in line, to either order from a screen or from one of the workers. It was not that sweet and the cheese cream, it included small golden pieces of something (nuts? seeds? I wasn't quite sure). But it is rather expensive for a small cup as it was $6.35 before tip, so that's why I'm taking off a star. I think they could've made the hojicha/tea flavor even stronger. read more

I get the hype! I've seen Boba Bliss so much on my instagram feed and they've been featured in a bunch of top lists so it was about time that I stopped by to check them out. Luckily, Boba Bliss is one of the boba shops that's open a little late so when I was craving some late night boba, I knew where to go. Since we were cutting it close to their closing time, we ordered online for pickup. Super easy to navigate and once we got there, the drinks were ready immediately! I got their assam milk tea with boba, a little less sweet. It was perfect! The tea itself was delicious and the boba was perfectly chewy. I'm not great at finishing my drinks in one go, and when I had it the next day, it was still just as good. If you like just a basic milk tea, this is a solid go-to. My husband ordered the lemon green tea with boba and I ordered the brown sugar boba fresh milk. My sister and her boyfriend ordered the mango sago, which I had also considered ordering. My husband and I currently live in the Clovis area, so I feel like our boba options aren't as bountiful as when we're in the Bay Area. The drinks are so good! They're light and not too sweet, and the boba is the perfect soft and chewy texture they should be. We loved our drinks so much we decided to grab another drink the next day for the drive back home! I was driving home one day and decided to make a quick stop at Boba Bliss that afternoon. The shop is tucked away in a strip mall, and it's tight waiting inside the shop. The staff were busy making drinks behind the counter and the carryout cartons were stacked higher than me. The server was doing a good job taking orders and keeping the line moving. There were three seasonal drinks, watermelon lychee, mango sago, and summer mango green tea. I decided to get a watermelon lychee. The music is turned up here and gives the place a trendy, poppy vibe (can you hear the bliss yet?). The ambiance was fun, but the volume of the music made it hard to hear the server at times as he took my order. The staff kept up a good pace passing along orders to the staff making the drinks, and I got my drink quickly. The watermelon lychee was cool and refreshing. The slushy watermelon and the lychee bits mingled together well with the boba--everything the drink promised it would be. I got the Matcha Brown Sugar with boba. Overall, the sweetness was perfect and exactly what I was craving. I ordered online which said it'll take 10 minutes. When I arrived, I asked the ladies that I was here for pickup and told them my name, but she said my drink wasn't ready yet when I came a little over the designated time. I sat down and waited for 5 minutes and turns out my drink was ready, it was just somewhere else with the other drinks. It's very unorganized and small inside, which can be tight when it is crowded. I'd be lying if I didn't say the Boba here is amongst the best I've ever had. I only ordered one drink, but the texture and creaminess of my strawberry milk. Tea was impeccable. I can't speak on behalf of any other drink, but coming here with my best friend who highly recommended this place, ordered three different drinks for himself and happily guzzled down each one. In regards to the service, the employees were polite, but it was easy to tell. They ran the restaurant like a machine to keep up with mobile orders and foot traffic. One thing that I didn't like was that a portion of the restaurant was blocked off for storage. Taking into account that the business is located in a small parking lot and the business itself is not that huge. I can understand the need to get customers in and out of the store. But the visual impact that it leaves, as well as having less space and already narrow business dampers the mood a little. I haven't been back since the day before covid shutdowns so I noticed a few changes during my recent visit. First off, they added a contactless ordering tablet. You can also place your order with a staff member at the register to the left of the tablet when the line gets long. Second, they seem to have added more drinks and seasonal drinks to the menu. I haven't try anything new just yet. And third, their original ordering counter is blocked off by a wall of drink carriers and you don't see much of the drinks being made behind the counter. They still have the seating area open and the drinks come out fairly quickly. I ordered my tried and true Strawberry Matcha Latte. I really enjoy how the strawberry topping sweetens the pure matcha. The level of sweetness you order will determine how much strawberry is added. Don't forget to shake the cup before inserting a straw! For something on the sweeter side, my other go-to order is the Creme Brûlée Pearl Latte. I personally love Boba Bliss, it's been my go to spots ever since I started college and I can't resist going back. They do get quite busy but they try their best! Please be patient with them especially during hot summer days. The staff has always been really friendly, I'm glad they implemented a touch screen kiosk to order drinks making it more efficient. I recommend using their app to quickly retrieve your drinks as you easily pick them up once you arrive! There are plenty of options to choose from and they use great ingredients so it's more on the healthy side of the boba world. It's always BLISSFULL going to Boba Bliss! I enjoy how simple the menu is, how consistent their drinks are, and how clean the store is! I've been going to boba bliss prior to 2020, but consistently since 2021. I love their strawberry milk drink, but when their best seasonal drink definitely has to be the summer mango green tea! I appreciate that they still continue to innovate here and there. They recently remodeled their store to give it a nice refreshing look, but still made it feel welcoming and aligned to their brand. The boldness of their Assam black tea is so addictive. And when you get the salted cream cheese on top, it's game over! Before the pandemic, they had the frequent reward system, but not anymore. What a bummer! That's ok, they need to survive post Covid. I'm just glad their tea/boba quality didn't succumb to the ever so challenging times we are living in. After all these years, my drink always tastes the same. During this visit, I tried their Jasmin Green Tea with Salted Cream Cheese, but I must admit, it wasn't as enjoyable than the Assam. Thanksgiving holiday and looking for a boba spot after shopping at Stoneridge Mall. Found this spot via Yelp. I ordered Stumptown cold brew milk tea with 50% sugar. I enjoyed my drink not too sweet and satisfying coffee taste. I regularly drink coffee, so for those who do not, maybe opt for 100% sweet. Wife definitely said it was strong tasting. Wife ordered the seasonal Pistachio Jasmine Dream with honey boba and 50% sweet. I admit the pistachio was good, boba was fresh.. just bit too sweet for me (my opinion). The tapioca pearls are chewy and cooked perfectly and none of the drinks tasted artificial. You can customize sweetness and ice level which I really appreciate. But what I really loved was that I could even customize my tea type, and they have a lot of options. It's kind of a hole in the wall, small establishment so getting to go would be your best bet. The service is quick too, even on their busy days. As much as I like this place, the flavors here never blow me away and there's nothing unique or different about what they do. I got the Creme Brulee Latte (Less Sweet and Less Ice) and thought it tasted great. It was creamy and milky, and the boba had the right soft, chewy texture. However, I was surprised that this was "less sweet," because I thought it was still pretty sweet (though just short of "too sweet"). The flavor profile also meant I could only drink half of the drink (maybe I tire of crème brûlée easily). ECO NOTES Cups: Plastic lid and plastic cup. Overall, their cups and lids seemed thinner than other places, which I think is good because it uses less plastic. However, the lid had a very wide opening and no straw hole, which may make it easier to spill if you're not careful. I suppose if you drink it quickly, then it won't matter! I'm not sure if they would let you use your own cup because I ordered online. However, I didn't see a reusable cup option on their website (where you could rent a cup and return it). Taking the I-5 to NorCal from LA, Boba Bliss was one of the places on the way to SF, and given the amount of reviews, I knew I had to give this place a try. And it's safe to say I don't regret it one bit, because this place, with so many reviews and long lines, is still worth the hype. Parking was easy to find in the plaza, and service was quick. I was greeted with a decently long line, and being my first time at the shop, was pleased with the interior decor and the menu. The menu just gave impressions of it being a high quality boba shop, and it lived up to those expectations. I ordered a Thai Green Tea and a Brown Sugar Pearl Latte. I can't believe how quality and fresh the drinks tasted. At 70% sweetness, it was the perfect mixture of it not being too sweet while still packing a mouthful of flavor. They also respected the less ice request. The boba pearls were also amazing! They were sweet and flavorful, with a great combination of chew and bounce to them. They weren't overcooked to the point where they melt, and overall just felt really smooth to the mouth. Since the shop was small, I had to wait outside for my drink, and could only tell that it was my drink because the people in front of me in line just left with theirs. First time here. Wanted to try a different boba place since we always go to Boba Guys in San Ramon. We ordered 2 strawberry matcha lattes 50% sweet with boba. It was really good. I recommend it. The place was super busy, but we got our order in about 5 minutes. The workers behind the counter don't mess around. They are quick and efficient. There's seating for roughly 16-18 people.
