Terrible service, gravy was cold and unseasoned. Found a hair in our food and the manager said there's nothing they can do to help because the cook doesnt have hair. syrup is watery. just overall not good, dont come here. manger was super rude and was wearing devilish apparel.

Food was not up to Bob Evans standards. Mash potatoes was cold... Broccoli was cold and the lemon grill chicken was so tough. Couldn't get any service when I walk in, stand up there for 10 minutes...

Food was actually fantastic. There wer eonly two waitresses in the entire establishment but drinks were refilled and we were tended to. A bob evans is a bob evans but we had a great experience this morning!

Went here on an early weekday with my brothers. Despite the time of day they had a few other customers. The tables, floor, and bathrooms were clean so no worries there. We were also seated without delay. The decor was standard Bob Evans. We tried an omelet, protein bowl, and farmers choice meal. Everyone was happy with their food and portion sizes. Be warned that the garden protein bowl is a bit on the spicy side. Be warned that it can be more difficult for a vegan to find options on the menu, will typically require excluding something from the meal listing. Our water was served in cute mason jars to help add to the farm house feel. The waitress was attentive and very friendly as well as chatty. The restaurant isn't far from the exit so it's easy to get to. The price was pretty fair fir the food we received so we didn't have any problem with the cost, cheaper than most fast food places these days. It's nice how they offer a few different sides and breads to pick from all year round with sometimes a seasonal choice. The entrees also have seasonal optiobs too, like the red white and blue theme or fruit that's in season. I even noticed apple cider since we're on the verge of fall. Overall it was a nice visit.

Breakfast any time of the day is always my go to and Bob Evans makes that easy. Social distancing and sanitizing were on point. The wait wasn't long and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The waitress was great, consistent and keeping our glasses full. Just because it's a chain doesn't mean you shouldnt check it out over and over again.

The food is here just fine for the chain it is. Husband ordered a burger and vegetable soup which he said was good. I ordered the seafood platter which was good except for the fried clams which was tough and impossible to chew. The rest of the meal however, was actually pretty good. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us often. Our meal arrived in a timely manner and the place seemed fairly clean.

I really like the consistency of this place. I usually visit when I am in town. I always have great service and good food. My go-to is the Homestead breakfast

Walked in with 1 hr to closing with my family and was seated and never waited on. We waited for 15 minutes and no one ever came to serve us.

Since there were a number of couples waiting for the full service side we opted for the former. We ordered and paid at the counter. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with a sweet potato and steamed broccoli while my husband ordered the grilled salmon with sweet potato and opted for a caesar salad in lieu of a second side. The grilled chicken breast was moist and well seasoned but it essentially was naked. It could have used a nice sauce like a bearnaise or some kind of salsa (maybe chutney) to jazz it up. The sweet potato was embarrassingly small. The broccoli was crisp tender but again was bereft of any sauce or just melted butter to make it yummy. My husband's entree was tasty but essentially was pretty bare. His salad was decent though. This restaurant must understand that the eye eats as well as the stomach because when the entrees arrived at our table the plates were rather underwhelming. We also ordered coffees and the gentlemen at the front said he would make a pot of fresh coffee. (He never did). The coffee we were served was old. Apparently, coffee isn't a big draw at this place. The best part was the gluten-free brownie and ice cream at the end. All in all, the place is nice and clean. The food is decent but there is room for improvement. Would we return since we are locals, I don't think so.

I had a Harvest Salad (Half - $4.00): a mix of romaine and arugula, with sweet dried cherries, goat cheese, corn, and toasted almonds, and the zesty lemon vinaigrette was perfect. I really enjoyed the Three-Cheese Grilled Cheese + Tomato Soup ($12.00): it was comfort food at its finest (especially with it getting chilly out)! The Cheddar, Gruyère, and Parmesan melted on the sundried tomato swirl bread was flavorful and cheesy. It paired perfectly with the tomato soup. The soup was slightly sweet but dipped that grilled cheese right in there. They serve Pepsi product here so went with a diet. The atmosphere was also a highlight. The clean, inviting layout is complemented by some good music playing and a cool mural of an old roadside hotel that adds an artistic touch. Pub Hours: Sunday-Thursday: 4 PM-10 PM Friday & Saturday: 4 PM-12 AM I'll definitely be back during my stay to try more of their menu! Conveniently located on site but serves hotel guest and surrounding area. I would even drive up from downtown or stop in for lunch sometime!

We were the only patrons in the place. We then asked if one of the many televisions could be tuned to "The Masters ". Apparently this was too much and although she finally found the correct channel, she refused to turn down the house "hip hop " music as she didn't want to listen to golf!! We asked her if she knew that we were the patrons who would be paying the bill? Needless to say, we didn't even get to the point of ordering. I can say without hesitation that I haven't had this sort of disrespect and disregard for quite some time. Avoid this place at all costs! Shania needs some serious retraining if she wants to keep her job because after her performance this afternoons she should be unemployed!

A handful of other people followed behind me. I informed the host I would like a table for 2 on the outside patio and we had a small dog with us. They asked if it was a service dog, which it was not. Host said they had to check. Upon their return I was informed we could not be served as only service dogs were allowed on the patio. I was a little puzzled by this as I have brought my dog to other establishments in Ohio with outdoor patios with no issue having a dog. After driving 9 hours, all my son and I wanted was a tasty meal which this restaurant looks to have. We ended up across the street at Liberty Tavern's patio with no issue having our pup with us. Per research I found: Outdoor Only: By Ohio health laws, pets are restricted to outdoor patio zones and are not permitted inside dining rooms or indoor bar areas (except certified service animals).

And I think that might have been our downfall. We went the breakfast route and started with a Cinnamon roll made right on the griddle. It created this crispy char that gave the roll more of a funnel cake texture. Unique, and the icing definitely enhances it (as it does most cinnamon rolls). Their special breakfast sandwich, "The Morning Wake-up" touts a "2x the size English Muffin" and they were not lying. This sandwich had cheese, multiple meats and vegetables, and I needed to take half of it home due to sheer size. What it didn't have... sauce. What it needed... sauce, syrup, aioli or something to lubricate all of those toppings. The breakfast potatoes on the side needed salt/seasoning/sauce, too, to be more to my liking. It was a similar experience with my wife's Reuben and the fries that she ordered; the sandwich had its moments, but it made me wish one of us got a burger like most of the other patrons.
