Well to start things off, we had to wait for a table, which seems bad to most. But this was done on purpose by the management, that way it insures we get a feel for the atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend the amazing atmosphere. We then made our ways to the tables, which were clean and organized extremely well. We ordered our food, and by we, I mean my most elegant date. We enjoyed our food to the extreme. While we cheered for every bite, which was so delicate to the touch. The server was fantastic, very attentive, she welcomed us with extreme love and care. She definitely deserves better pay. (side note, we never left a tip), hopefully I don't show this to her. my date partner did leave me mid meal, which was extremely sad to go through. Overall, everything was great. Unfortunately, I have to agree with most of these reviews. I got the build your own omelet, and, as a vegetarian, I got veggies and cheese. However, it came packed with meat that I only saw after I cut into it. The waitress was pretty defensive about it for some reason, I wasn't upset. We saw the sign for the Bob Evans Farm on the interstate and knew we had to stop for breakfast. We were met graciously by a welcoming host and our waitress was attentive and kind. The food was delicious and was made even better by the clean and hospitable environment it was consumed in. We ordered 2 8.99 dinners. We were served full size dinners n said when the food came that's alot of food for 8.99. When we got the bill it was almost 30. I spoke with asst Mgr at register of the issue. He offered no credit or real apology. Needless to say we won't go back to this location. I even had pointed on the menu what I wanted. We were excited to finally have a reason to stop at Bob Evans Farm. I can confirm with the other Yelpers that the service is slow, the Wi-Fi is dead, and all of the empty tables are dirty. Nobody made an effort to bus tables during our visit. Given this restaurant's location and legacy, what's really unfortunate is that Yelpers have posted months of really bad reviews and clearly no action has been taken. This isn't a COVID problem- it's a leadership problem Next time we will drive on to Jackson. Sad to see a storied company flounder without is founder. read more

Got up, got clean, got out, got breakfast... Hi Bob! (drink if you do) Pulled in at the big red sign and figured this is the place. Took a couple minutes for our server to show but she did OK after that. We went with basic breakfasts: coffee, eggs up, french toast, sausages, grits, and coffee. Same for MLB but cakes instead of toast, eggs over easy, and no grits... Food came out hot and correct which are big plusses in my book. Egg yolks were propperly soft and agreeable to sharing a plate with the pig sticks and griddle food. Grits were a little off though; thickish and pasty. Would expect more from what I assume is global headquarters or at least the flagship store but apparently I'm mistaken in some regard.. read more

Well I was a bit excited to learn the Bob Evans my gps was taking us to was his actual farm. We are out of state, hungry, and have never eaten at this chain and don't know our way around to go elsewhere. We didn't know they close very early at 8 (having never eaten here) and felt bad coming in 20 minutes to close but we needed to eat. As soon as we stepped in we heard the entire crew start complaining very loudly. We should have walked out then and just opted for gas station sushi. Hunger won and we stayed. The waitress was rude from the start, huffing and no lie stomping off to get our drinks and rolls. Our daughter wanted chicken strips and she said they couldn't make them but the salad I ordered had chicken strips and they could make it for the salad which made no sense. I ordered a 1/2 salad and sandwich and was brought just a salad. My husband ordered a soup and sandwich which he received both but no spoon for the soup so he ate about 1/2 with a fork until we could finally ask for a spoon. The entire time we sat and ate we heard the staff complaining about us and every time I looked up the waitress was shooting me dirty looks. My husband was the only one to receive service at the table, even our daughter couldn't get a refill on her water. After this experience and to top it off at the home location of the business; we will never set foot in another Bob Evans again nor will I recommend them to anyone. read more

we went to Bob Evans this morning, and the service was not that great, and the food was absolutely horrible. BOB EVANS BUY YOUT EMPLOYEES HAIR NETS !!!!!!! Everything was cold because it sits up on the counter for a while while the servers chitchat amongst each other. this is not acceptable the potatoes that I received we're still frozen inside. I sent them back and the Lady brought back my plate and everything else was still cold didn't even have the decency to heat it up and then when we went to checkout, their training, a new girl, there bad habits they didn't even ask how everything was so there was not even an opportunity to make things, right I will never be going to this location again it's absolutely horrible so my suggestions would be is don't go there because this is not the first time we've had a bad experience here I would go to any restaurant other than here McDonald's even has better service and food which is pathetic read more

Our waitress did not know what came with my breakfast meal. I ordered the Country Biscuit Breakfast but she asked me what meat i wanted, even tho it doesn't come with a side of breakfast meat. I said "no I want the the country biscuit breakfast, it doesn't come with breakfast meat" and she had me show her the menu. she apologized and then asked what sides it said it came with. So she obviously doesn't know the menu. I also ordered an extra serving of hash browns. We waited 25 minutes for our food, and when it came, it wasn't even right. Had a great experience here. The food was delicious (as expected)... the parmesan grilled chicken with broccoli was particularly tasty. Good sweet tea too. I also loved the peanut butter cookies with Reese's Pieces which we took home. Plates came out super hot, so they spent some time under the heat lamps. Biscuits not fresh, turkey was dry with over seasoned stuffing and a super sweet relish. My husband and I had lunch at this Bob Evans on a drive home form Ohio. We thought it was quaint that it is on the original farm of Bob Evans. We anticipated a good restaurant experience. But unfortunately were disappointed. Although the land and farm area outside are lovely, the restaurant was anything but. The place was dirty! The front doors are grimy and filthy. There was sticky areas all over our table. We had to ask the waitress to reclean the table. We were seated off in a small room which had dirty high chairs and cleaning supplies sitting around. The blinds on the windows were broken and dusty. Food stain were on the wall next to our table. The service was extremely slow..an issue for us because we still had a long drive back to our state. I would think the manager would care about presenting the restaurant near the original Bob Evans, sort of a road side attraction, in a better light. It was a mess. We will not be going there on future trips to that part of Ohio. read more

Unfortunately, for being on the original Bob Evans homestead, this location has gone down hill a lot! 20 minute wait due to tables not being cleaned, over 30 minutes to receive two salads and an order of kids hotcakes, server did not know the menu well and did not check-in on us. Manager could be seen at the grill assisting ('some time' there helping is not a bad thing), but her attention was greatly needed in the dining room. As we left, several (10+) tables needed cleaning and there was still a significant line at the door.
