    Turkey Dinner.
    Christine B.

Stopped in for lunch. It was our first time here. My husband got the Turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, and dressing. I ordered the dumplings, green beans, and dressing. The hubs loved his meal. I enjoyed mine, however my dumplings and stuffing was barely warm (the only reason why they didn't get a 5). The rolls were very good! We will definitely go back.

This is just the front of the menu but wanted to let you know because it has all their information, their address and phone number.

This is an amazing restaurant in the area. One of the best I would say in the state. It's always amazing good food at prices you can afford to eat at. Amazing homemade everything. They have a great salad bar. Very efficient, friendly staff. One of our favorite servers is Marie. She does such a great job keeping our glasses full and puts a big smell on her face. She is just so sweet and accommodating.

Turkey plate with plasticizing uranium yellow gravy(?)

Well. The wait was long. The surrounding conversations were interesting. The service was... impatient at best. The food was astoundingly flavorless. There was a gelatinous yellow gravy (?) on my Turkey plate (highly reviewed on yelp) that had a sort of plasticizing "nothing" effect, coating the hidden turkey, stuffing and potatoes. My children's burgers were also bland. One kid said the patty actually tasted like peanut butter and then started gagging. The cornbread was delicious.

    Delicious breakfast.

Delightful, deliciously good quality food locally sourced served at unbelievable low prices. Excellent service and friendly staff. A locally owned and operated restaurant serving large portions, so bon appétit!

Quaint atmosphere and friendly staff. Must be patient, as it must be a VERY laid back WV attitude. It's in the running for the worst breakfast I've ever ate. Pork chops so thin and grease, potatoes with no seasoning. Yes, I paid over $10 for this meal. My wife has a wonderfully packed ham and cheese omelet, but suffered the same potato side. I will add the coffee was very good.

Pictures don't do it justice. Turkey, dressing, 2 sides w/cornbread and cranberry relish. Delicious.

Always courteous, enjoyed the meals. Pickup was usually quick, but patience required if they are busy.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. While the service left some room for improvement, it was ultimately satisfactory and didn't detract significantly from the evening. We started with their signature Pepperoni Rolls--stuffed with pepperoni, ricotta, and mozzarella, seasoned with garlic salt, then wrapped and topped with melted butter and parmesan cheese. They were absolutely delicious, and perfectly enjoyable with or without the accompanying marinara sauce. We also tried the Wild & Wonderful Wings (traditional, mild sauce), which both the kids and I found to be flavorful and well-balanced. The "Big Azz Pretzel" lived up to its name in size, and our party of six had no trouble finishing it. My husband opted for the Atomic Andi Burger, featuring jalapeño cream cheese, which he thoroughly enjoyed (he nearly inhaled it); I sampled a bite and found it to be rich and flavorful. The kids ordered off the children's menu: one had a cheese quesadilla--though we wished it came with a side of salsa or sour cream--and another had the Steak Tips with fries, which were a hit, especially when paired with A1 Steak Sauce. Each meal came with a generous serving of thick-cut fries. All in all, a delightful meal worth the drive. We'll definitely be returning.

The set up is hilariously insane, worth the stop alone. The cashier was fun and friendly, and the graffiti in the women's room was inspiring! I have a basic bitch stomach, so got the "Puppy" with just ketchup. Sproßling got the Mothman, garnished with I believe onion rings and 1000 Island. Husband got his smothered in jalapeños. We split a full size onion rings, which were hot and tasty. We all had Gold Peak tea. The dogs tasted great, if I had a normal stomach I would have gotten a second one. Tucked away just a few minutes off I-64 in Barboursville, WV, this place offers eccentric hot dogs at a reasonable price. Using all beef dogs they create some wild and crazy options as well as the basics. Surprisingly they have non-dog choices and some vegetarian options too. Look, truth be told the dogs themselves are average, but you're not here just for the food. You're here for the experience. The place is decorated - every square inch of it - with stuff that looks like it came right off the Clampett's jalopy. (Look it up kids.) Bring your aw shucks attitude, because the punny signs are everywhere. And with a little planning ahead, apparently you can actually get married in the Weddin' Chapel. It's tacky and corny and therefore the perfect roadside stop. We arrived around 11:30 on a Sunday and had a short wait. When we left under an hour later, the line was creeping towards the street. Our line moved quickly in part to the friendly staff. The wait for our food wasn't long either. There was plenty of outdoor shady seating, but you can also sit inside in their "renovated" school bus. Is it a 5-star dining experience? No. Is it a 5-star road trip destination. You bet yer britches!
