Brand new joint brings new vibe to Barboursville! As soon as you walk in, ya know its gonna be a good time. For the past 4 visits, we start off with a Tale of Tuscany, a Italian starter with meatballs, sausage, cheese and red sauce. Soooooo good. As for dranks, ya gotta try Tale of Two Fruits. Be bold and get an extra shot of 99 Bananas. In the words of the Staple Singers, "I'll Take You There." (Google the song!!!) The service is just freaking amazing. These folks want you to be 100% satisfied with your visit and that makes a difference. My only recommendation is to make sure the food is hot when served. They were more than happy to remake the item to get it right. Other than that, we look forward to coming in on the weekends and having fun. It's really hard for me to write a bad review, but here we go. We walked in, the doors were wide open and the entire dining room was filled with smoke. There was a family in front of us that was seated promptly. We stepped forward to the host stand where 3 women stood. Not one of them looked at us or in any way acknowledged us for nearly a minute. Other than the smoke, the ambiance was neat. Our sever was nice. I ordered the Korean bowl, and the tin cup traveller. My husband ordered the steak sandwich and fries. His fries arrived before anything else. Then my drink. Then my dish. I'm taking pictures, the fries are sitting there. After 5-6 bites of my "Korean" bowl, I bite into an ice cold piece of broccoli. The previous bites had been warm. Not hot, but warm. They microwaved my bowl and returned it. Another server asked me if I wanted the sauce that was supposed to come with my bowl. The beef in my bowl was supposed to be bul-go-gi, it wasn't. The sauce was an American barbecue sauce, nothing like bul-go-gi, the kimchi didn't have any flavor. The entire dish was rather bland without the barbecue sauce. It was very disappointing from a Korean food perspective, but not horrible, I ate it. My husband's steak sandwich never came. We watched several steak sandwiches be delivered to other tables, tables that came in after us. Our server acknowledged that was happening and apologized but had no explanation, other than the oven wasn't hot enough. Such a disappointment. read more

Service was on point! Super friendly and helpful staff. Menu was awesome with a lot of different foods. Has an old "library" atmosphere that left you to wonder around and check out old library mementos. I had potato soup and grilled cheese with a big dill pickle! Reminded me of high school! Very cute, creative place. However, the service wasn't the best despite it wasn't crowded. The pepperoni roll was somewhat disappointing. I thought my cocktail was yummy but my friends cocktail....not so much. I don know if I will be back. read more

We went on day two so it was very busy. Cute place. Food took almost 2 hours to come to the table. We ordered cheese sticks, Philly sandwich with fries (arrived cold) and a fish sandwich . Nothing fancy just simple food items. Will give them another try later on. read more

Best Cheesesteak I have ever had it is worth going just for that alone, wings were fresh! Solid ranch too. Mozzarella sticks were also great and could tell weren't frozen and reheated. after giving it 3 different chances, i can safely say this place is ill ran and does not have quality standards. each time the food wait time was 45+ minutes and brought out is varying stages with all 3 times a part of my order totally made wrong with the receipt saying the correct modification. we also had to wait 10 minutes before drink orders were taken. the staff is all so young and do not appear to have been trained by anyone with any restaurant knowledge. the owner (i believe) visited our table and when concerns about our order were brought up she was very dismissive and outright rude. read more

Great new addition to the restaurant scene in Barboursville/Huntington area. Big menu: we had subs and pizzas with pot sticker apps. Food was good. Service was great. Food was good. Wait was not. Took about 2 hours. We had the loaded nachos for appetizer and they were good. The half steak salad was huge and had good flavor. The Italian and Philly cheesesteak subs were tasty. The Brussel sprouts were good but not great, they needed some type of seasoning. The fries and ranch dressing for the salad was good. While food and service were good the food was not worth the 2 hour wait. I think there may be too many items on the menu for fast service. I really liked the feel of the place and the music. Might be back if we read the time to get food speeds up. read more

My wife and I love this place! Great service and the staff were very attentive. Wings were delicious, Italian and pizza subs were outstanding (the small was plenty), kids quesadilla good. Great TVs inside to watch a game and an area for our kids to play games in the back. Our daughter and my wife loved the dirty soda stand too. Me and my family went here tonight, the service was awful. My brothers food came out 15 mins after my sister in laws and mine. He ordered a salad with chicken on the side. Can someone explain to me why his food took so long to come out. My sister in law waited 10 mins just to get a refill on her water. I asked for no tomato on my salad and they still put them on there. It was a very disappointing experience for us. Also it is supposed to have the ambiance of a library because thats what they said on their Facebook, but that was a lie. The 45 minute wait didn't bother us, the 20 min wait for a server which we had to stop to get while the management team was worried about the way they looked or their friends that was seated. My food was okay but Pizza Hut pizza as bad as it is, is better. My spouse ordered a drink that was literally posted on Facebook 3 hours prior and the drink that was brought out wasn't even the drink. She ordered a sandwich and couldn't make it through for the hairs that had to be pulled out it, so if you are interested in just throwing $50+ down the toilet the old library tavern is the place for you! The atmosphere and location are perfect for this spot. Food and drinks were spot on. We arrived as soon as it opened, and we were a party of ten. We ordered an appetizer, and it came out fast; however, our main food took a little over 2 hours to come out. We asked multiple times why everyone else was getting served except us.
