We visited this place for lunch. The staff was prompt to greet us and bring us chips and salsa. The salsa is homemade there and was so good and flavorful. My husband and I each ordered the lunch fajitas and was surprised at how much you got for the price. The food was really good and perfectly cooked. Ordered two skinny margaritas. Supposed to be lime juice, fresh OJ, agave nectar, and tequila. Extremely sweet and tasted very syrupy. Service was absolutely horrible. Maybe all of 5 tables in the restaurant and still took forever to get any attention, much less any service after our food was delivered. The food there was excellent. But their case of sauce was runny and more water than creamy queso. The Service there was great considering the crowd. The ambience was family friendly. There was a bar in the back, but it was separate from the rest of the restaurant. I noticed they had some televisions to watch your sports. it was music in the restaurant, but it didn't drowned out any ability to have conversation. I was excited about this place and it was definitely not a let down. The chips and salsa were great. Queso was perfect and the guacamole was ON POINT!!! The tacos were also DELISH. In the accompanying pic the taco in the left is the BB Fish and the one on the right is the WHISKY TACO! They were both amazingly delicious. I am looking forward to coming back again to try more. Yummmmm! While they didn't have the mole taco that I originally wanted, their namesake taco was one the money. I'm the picture I took, it looks like a hot mess, but don't be fooled. It's an odd offering to see this in the menu but you won't be disappointed nor will you leave hungry! There is enough there to satisfy even the most hungry patron. A great taco place out in the middle of WV. They have a good selection of different tacos and other Mexican style food. Good mixed drinks too! We ordered the Queso as an appetizer. It was luke warm and had chunks of cheese in it where it wasn't completely melted. It barely had any flavor. I asked for some hot sauce. They asked if I wanted the green or red. Green is hotter so i asked for it. He brought it out in a squeeze bottle, so I assume it's fresh. It was NOT hot at all. I ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla. The portion was nice, but the chicken barely had any flavor. The hubs ordered the lunch fajitas. Again, chicken was bland. The refried beans were VERY dried out! His shells were hard. I know they are new, but that is a little inexcusable! First time coming here and it was worth it! We ordered the Bbq nachos for the appetizer, Birria Tacos for the entrees, and the Churros for dessert! Very nice place! We were seated as a large group rather quickly. They had multiple options from the bar, which was very well set up to serve a large group of people. The menu was great! Lots of variety and very good pictures and descriptions. Our waiter was knowledge to our questions about our orders. I ordered the Molcajetes Azteca ( yes, that's real.. see pictures ) and it was incredible! A bit expensive but I took half of it home for lunch. The food did take a while to come out, but it was all very warm and ready to be eaten when it came. Music was a bit loud but not totally overbearing. Parking is tough outside, so you might have to park and walk a little bit. It's the only reason I didn't post a 5 star review. Overall, good experience, quality food, and a well stockedbar. First off the interior is very nice. Decorated in a very cool way with concrete counter tops in the bar and wooden walls. The food selection is fantastic. Went a few weeks ago and felt like I was hurried through my meal although closing time wasn't for an 1 1/2 later. Decided to try it again showing up 2 hours before closing and had the same experience. I didn't feel welcomed by the staff from entry to exit. Let the waiter a good tip and as I was leaving looked at him and smile and he looked at me as if I were a stranger.....SERIOUSLY??!!! The food is what you would expect, not bad at all but a little overpriced. If I'm taking my time (which is valuable to me) to write a review it''s gotta be a big deal to me. Will never order from this restaurant. I was picking up a delivery order and after i stood there for ten minutes i was told to wait outside and they would bring it to me. It was 24 degrees outside but i went and waited outside in the interest of the delivery customer and they never brought it out. I went back in and asked the fourth person i talked to who then interrogated me because i assume he believed someone would have this scheme where they knew the customers name and when their food would be ready because there are people that could do this. SMH... My family and i eat at Mexican style restaurants a couple times a week and i always suggest trying this place but after seeing how they treated a delivery driver i will take a pass from eating there or delivering from there. Recommend Rio in Teays Valley or Roca in Cross Lanes. Definitely better. read more

First time trying this place. Let me say that I had my first experience with birria tacos in LA..... the real deal. I was excited to try them here because I can't find them anywhere in my area. Walked in and the guy in the front told me to go stand at the barrel for to go orders. I tok the 5 steps to the barrel and just stand there waiting while he was at the other desk doing idk what. After a while he walks the 5 steps and asks if he can help me it takes him a while to bring the food. From the look to taste.. it is NOT a Birria taco.. the consommé was red and tasted like a tomato base.. the tortillas were not dipped and grilled before placing the dry beef on the tacos.. and I mean SAHARA DESERT CHOKE YOU TO DEATH DRY BEEF the shells tasted stale. One bite was all it took to go in the trash. If you are looking for a real birria experience.. this isn't it. If you have tried them and like them you need to get some authentic tacos to understand how delish it actually is. Very disappointed and won't return. read more

Bartender, I just observed all the dishes you cleared off; finish cleaning before shoving a menu at me and asking for my drink order. Napkin? Silverware? Oh, am I inconveniencing you?
