First time to eat at Bob Evans. Service was par excellent. Food tasted average, while serving portion is good for two. I didn't like the Herb chicken because the color of the roast looks pale, while in the menu looks reddish/charred. My side of diced potatoes was salty. The turkey breast tasted chewy and dry. I was looking at their kitchen staff and I conclude that they need to cook better, or the customer will go home disappointed. Price is reasonable. After eating, they give you a receipt. You may pay to the cashier as you leave the restaurant. Dining area looks spacious. They have booth tables with very comfy seats. Restrooms are clean. Lots of parking space. Location is a bit uphill. You could see the view of surrounding establishments. Will definitely try the chicken tenders next time. Ordered a dinner entree. Just pay additional $2, and you'll be having the salad and dessert of your choice. What a deal!

Used to come here a lot more when I lived closer, but my last visit left something to be desired. Pros: Food is pretty consistent and not bad for the price. Although I didn't have it this time, their breakfast is yummy! Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Cons: Although we were seated quickly, it took our waitress several minutes to come over and get our drink order. Then, several minutes to get our drinks. Even longer for her to take our order. Our meals were served - I got a turkey bacon melt with fries and mac n cheese. My husband got a burger with fries and mac n cheese. The fries were over cooked, too crunchy. My husband asked for no tomato and, of course, it had two big tomatoes on the burger. Okay, no biggie, just take them off. The waitress did notice that they were on the side of the plate and did ask "Did they put tomatoes on anyways?" Umm yeah. But she didn't apologize, but sort of laughed it off. Toppings on a sandwich are no biggie if you can just pick them off, but an "sorry bout that" would have been nice. I also sat for about five minutes with an empty glass while the waitress stood talking to the other waitresses.

I tried to order a burger online, I was only given cheeseburger as an option. I have a milk allergy & couldn't order a simple hamburger!

The baby carrots were a good amount, as they were warm and soft, layered with melted butter, tasting sweet and luscious!

If you follow my reviews, you know I'm a fan of old-school diners, the classics, and honest home-cooked food. Summit hits all three marks, serving straightforward and delicious American standards since the 1960s. The three-egg omelet loaded with veggies and sausage was exactly the pre-ski power-up I needed. My son stuck with his go-to breakfast burrito, and my daughter went with the classic two eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Everything was spot on. The staff has just the right level of "WWA"--Waitresses With Attitude. They are perfectly polite, but they hold the line on proper behavior and will quickly put anyone in their place if they step out of line. It keeps the environment grounded and authentic. A few tips for your visit: * Seating: Expect to wait for a table in the lobby or outside during peak hours. * Payment: Bring your wallet--this is a cash-only establishment.

We spent 2 hours here, with only 15 minutes of that actually eating our food. They were not that busy for a Friday night dinner hour. Two other tables were there when we walked in. Four more came in after us. Not a rush by any stretch of your imagination. Yet we waited to be acknowledged and never actually got a menu. Fortunately we had known going in what we wanted. Three of us ordered the exact same thing. Beer battered fish sandwiches with two pierogis as a side. One jalapeño cheese the other potato cheese. The fourth person ordered wings and the same pierogis as a side. We probably waited a good 30 minutes for the food after ordering. First out were the wings and fish sandwiches. We had asked for tartar sauce and cocktail sauce when we ordered. There was none. Just a bare piece of fish on a bun. They said the pierogis would be right out. When they came there were only 3 of the 4 sides we ordered and we had no silverware to eat them with. So we couldn't eat the sandwiches which were getting cold or the pierogis. I got up and asked the waitress for silverware and she brought 2 forks. There were 4 of us! I found out that I actually had two of the same, potato cheese pierogis. I had ordered one potato cheese and one jalapeño cheese. I guess they ran out of pierogis. Since they were out of pierogis, Mac and cheese was substituted. Then I got up again and got two more forks and 4 knives from the wait station myself. Finally the condiments came and we could eat the sandwiches. All in all the food was delicious. Some of the best wings around and the fish sandwiches were really good on a nice soft, warm bun. The homemade pierogis were worth the wait. Jumbo sized filled with cheese and served with nicely caramelized onions. Fifteen more minutes went by after finishing our meal before we were asked if we needed anything else. Just the check and we decided it was best to pay in cash or else wait 20 more minutes to use a credit card. If you go, be prepared to WAIT for everything!

It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.
