Soup/salad combo $5.99
Linda O.

We came in late 7-ish for dinner after a long day traveling. Our server Cornelia ( Corny) , was so welcoming and friendly. Our meal came out quickly. I ordered the soup/salad combo and my husband had the Farmers breakfast. All was good and plentiful. We stayed at the Comfort Inn next door which was super convenient

Very good breakfast. Breakfast was served pretty quickly and very hot. Sausage gravy had excellent flavor over fresh baked biscuits. Eggs and sausage were good. Potatoes also seemed freshly cooked. Waitress was friendly and attentive to the table.

Our food was hot and delicious! Our server was on it to bring our food and coffee. He also kept bringing more creamer because I use a lot. The French toast was delicious. My husband had the double meat meal and I had the Carmel apple breakfast meal. We ate everything before leaving. Coffee craft was left at the table so we could refill when we wanted to. I would recommend

The young lady who took our order was so friendly and made ordering easy by answering all of our questions and helping us choose. We ordered the catfish and shrimp pasta along with the Big Back Combo, and everything was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The sauce was absolutely delicious and tied everything together. Between the outstanding food, excellent customer service, and warm atmosphere, this place exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!

The woman at the counter was very friendly. The food was very good. I had a burger. My wife had a cheesesteak. We shared the peach cobbler poundcake. All were good choices. The star was the cheesesteak. Being asked to tip beforehand ($8 on a $41 tab, total $49) is mildly annoying. I ordered from the counter, we ate out of styrofoam takeout boxes, and we cleaned up our own trash. I don't mind tipping, and I tip well for good service. I waited tables for two years, so I understand how important tips are to wait staff. But I don't think there are any waiters here. Anyway, good food, pleasant staff, and clean restaurant. Would recommend.

Be nice to your waitstaff and tip generously! Eating brunch here on Sunday before going apple…read morepicking reminded me of just how hard they work and how terrible so many people treat these lovely folk. That's my PSA for today. As for everything else, this little diner is definitely locally owned and locally loved. It was only a few minutes from the farm I took my bf to go apple picking on the far east side of Cleveland. FYI!!! - The menu online is incredibly outdated!! Each thing is about 50% more expensive. Use the attached menu pictures to get an accurate idea of prices in late 2025. This is no longer a cheap place to eat. :( After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were sat at the counter right next to the cash register and could hear everything the staff said. I was enlightened as to how terrible they are treated by stingy, entitled customers. I felt terrible about my impatience at getting seated and getting our food but it seems like all the staff and cooks were just burnt out today. They still did a pretty good job at making yummy food though! My bf got a skillet with home fries and wheat toast. This was a lot of food and the toast was very thicccc and very heavily buttered. I ordered a gyro salad with tzaziki sauce and it came with buttered triangles of pita bread. Since we weren't prepared for the price changes, we just got water to drink. We both were shocked at how LARGE the portions were! The gyro meat was so good and the pita bread was nice and lightly buttered. My bf was a huge fan of the sausage in his skillet. Because we didn't want to leave the food in the car for a few hours, we ate everything and did not have leftovers although we could have! Not sure how well my gyro salad would taste as leftovers though so it was probably best I ate everything. Lastly, I made sure to thank them and tip generously. I hope everyone else there did the same. I ended up paying about $42.

My wife and I went for a Sunday drive and had absolutely no intention of going out to dinner…read morehowever we were looking for a good patio. Auntie Yelp and within a few miles we found the Westfield inn in Troy township Ohio I've never been to either. Apparently it used to be an inn a long long time ago but it ceased being that and currently has clambakes in the fall and looks like the place next door is part of it and also has a wedding venue. It has a nice front porch that was decorated for the season moms and pumpkins and corn stalks and whatnot so it was pretty festive. We got there earlier about 5:00 which is pretty early for us for dinner but lucky for us the place wasn't that busy there was quite a few people inside but not many people sat outside because the honey bees tend to buzz a little close for some people's comfort. I don't mind them at all as long as you don't squat at them everything is good. Our server was the bartender who came outside his name was Alex and he was an absolute peach. He started us off after we got our drinks with dinner rolls and two cinnamon rolls which was an odd pairing for a pre-dinner snack but it was delicious. I ended up getting some tomato bisque soup which I'm an absolute sucker for and it was fan freaking tastic. A+++ Definitely it's comfort food season and this menu supported that. Now normally I make pot roast but I'm not very good at it and my pot roast is normally fatty but this pot roast came out absolutely fell apart on my fork. The carrots were perfect and the mashed potatoes was not lumpy my perfect consistency I told my wife if you want to learn how to make pot roast come cook here. She got the beef and mushroom pot pie now I'm a big fan of pot pie but I do not like mushrooms but she managed to absolutely inhale that and she gave it two thumbs up. We had an ample time for a nice little chat our server Alex was on the spot wasn't too present but wasn't gone too long for us to not notice. Service was also A+. We live in lake county and don't get down to Troy township at all but now I have an absolute reason and excuse to get down there and I will be bringing friends. What a fantastic meal what a lovely place and I can't wait for my next visit.

We wanted to celebrate US, and with little discussion, chose Yours Truly as our celebratory location to lunch and shmooze. We are so glad that the restaurant was accommodating to our group of seven. A large table was cleaned for us in the back, giving us a sense of privacy. Our server, Helen, took everything in stride and hit a home run in the way she took our orders, got everything right and sorted out the individual payments miraculously. It is rare to find a place that can handle seven different orders, with all of them brought to the table at the same time. Yours Truly handled it all! Thank you for a memorable lunchtime setting to start off our week!

Eggs and bacon were cold. Salad came out wrong. Also, not sure why I'm expected to cut up my own full pieces of bacon and slices of chicken for a Cobb salad, it's not easy to cut either on a bed of lettuce inside a bowl. My son was halfway finished with his meal by time I was done trying to cut those items up for my salad (still left with large pieces). Also not sure why the waitress wouldn't ask my son if he wanted something else to drink, or offer water, when his milk was gone before our meal came. We weren't the only ones with problems, as two of the tables next to us had problems, one sending food back, the other asking for items to be removed from the bill due to them being cold and not eaten. From the time we got there to the time our bill arrived, we were there an hour and twenty minutes, which again is pretty crazy for what we ordered and it not being crowded at all.

The manager and no fewer than 5 other employees went out of their way to give their congratulations; and they provided special treats like champagne and desserts for us to enjoy. Special thanks to our server Anna who couldn't have been more gracious and attentive! For dinner I had the small filet mignon with sides of broccoli and whipped potatoes. The filet was an excellent cut of meat done exactly to order. The sides were nicely prepared and tasty. My entire order was delivered "hot off the stove", which is high on my list of "must haves". My wife had the lemon chicken with sides. She was as pleased with her meal as I was with mine and for all the same reasons. So, a special thanks to the Cedar Creek folks for making our celebration so wonderful! We'll definitely be back soon!!

I had to go out of my way to get the attention of the bartender to order both my drink and app. He took my order and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He was in NO hurry to serve his customers. The firecracker shrimp was good and the waiter/runner who delivered it was extremely friendly and personable. The poor couple next to me was celebrating a birthday and wanted a bowl of ice cream. They waited at least 20 minutes between getting a menu, ordering... and eventually not receiving their dessert in a timely manner and walking out and going to Mitchel's. Unfortunately probably a first and last for me.
