My server Emily was phenomenal. She's been working at Bob Evans for 17 years! I got a soup and salad combo for $5.99 which tasted as good as the low price sounds! Fresh tasting and at their appropriate temperatures.

This is a gem. Why don't we have this in NYC? It's super family friendly. When you walk in, someone greets you and offer your kids straws. The kids breakfast menu is super cute and affordable. Piggy pancakes was adorable. Food was good. Our waitress Kasia was kind and came around perfect amount of times. We enjoyed our visit.

Service was great. Had Emily very personable and friendly. I got the farmers choice breakfast definitely enough food for a good price. Overall was pretty good the eggs were more over hard then easy and the home fries were over done. But was still a decent experience.

Some of the leftovers from our awesome breakfast

Employees have no regard for wearing a mask. Service is slow and staff is rude. Even customers weren't asked to wear a mask.

It's also better because I went with my sister and friend! When I came in, it was a nice small place along with the Puerto Rican bar playing their music! I couldn't stop bopping to it! There was the food they served buffet style along with snacks and a very small stand of Filipino products on the right! The food was delicious and filling. Certain foods I wanted to try were the Garlic Rice and Lechon (which are only available weekends) were sold out. At least I got myself the Pork Adobo (which I wanted) and the Bistec (Beef Steak)! I also got the Puto Cheese because it looked so good! The service was great as well especially when we needed help to park our cars and asked about the place! I would try this place again especially when it's near my hometown!

However, it was very simple and authentic inside there (nothing too wild). The service was nice and made you felt like community. Selection of food was good (the stuff I really wanted there is pretty hard to get due to popularity). The portions were pretty fulfilling and everything tasted great. MABUHAY!

I craved some comfort food before the long ride home and I remembered The Hershey Pantry from my college days at PSU, which now feels like 138 years ago. We stopped in and had the most delightful, sweet waitress: Piper. The food was just what we wanted: filling and familiar. Hubs had a chicken caprese sammie and I had a reuben with turkey. Both hit the spot. I saw a coconut cake slice go by for another table and had to order one immediately to go. OMG - GET THE COCONUT CAKE. I had it as a late night snacky and it was tender with the right amount of coconut, and frosting that was light like an angel's wings. My only regret is that we live 3.5 hours away and can't come back anytime soon.

A visit to the brewery provides fresh pours of the classics as well as a host of specialty brews (e.g., bourbon barrel-aged Mad Elf Grand Cru, which is nothing short of magical). Many of these brews are high-octane. Handily, Troegs also serves food - and it's not the typical compliment of fried bar nibbles. The menu offers a wide and changing variety of dishes of all sizes that are damn near gourmet (e.g., braised short rib, duck confit, crab lasagna). The Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese is an obvious must. And I like the way they do payment. After you sit down, a member of the wait staff will find you, take your name, credit card, and (first) beer order, after which you can just give your name to the bar or snack bar and they will add order(s) to your tab. You give a credit card to your server and that opens the tab. You go to the "snack" counter to order but drinks are brought by a server. Water is self service. After you place your order you get an alarm square (like Panera) and then you pick up your food and silverware and water. Two of us ordered the BBQ brisket sandwich. It came with cole slaw and Bbq sauce and a side of fries. Dining partner really liked the brisket and said it was so tender. I asked for the bbq sauce on the side and I'm glad I did because it was a vinegar base sauce. I didn't like it at all. I found the brisket to be a little too fatty and not well seasoned. The slaw in the sandwich wasn't seasoned either. I was disappointed. Both of us thought the fries were meh. Not hot enough and not crispy. Mine were kind of soggy. Diner 3 got grilled cheese. It was a sandwich in thick bread and came with a side of marinara sauce. She said the sandwich was good. Diner 4 got the Mediterranean plate. Hummus, tabuli, zucchini fritters and tahini. She graciously offered me tastes. The tabuli was really good and the zucchini was prepared like felafel. They were ok. The pita triangles looked good. I didn't try anything else. The other diners all ordered sodas which came with twist off caps in small bottles. They liked the sodas. Overall, the food was ok. There is a gift shop with a variety of merchandise and lots of beer for sale. I asked if the beers and 'cocktails' were available as singles rather than 6 packs. And I was offered a taste. I chose the freaky fruity cherry limeade cocktail. It had too much of the taste of hops for me. The server said it's not made with hops but on the same equipment and although it was tasty, I couldn't get past the taste if hops. Not something I like. The place is nice looking, people were very nice, the menu just didn't work for me.

They have a big menu, lots of beers on tap, and some really good specialty cocktails. The only thing to note is that when it gets really busy it can feel a little congested and noisy, but overall the atmosphere is comfortable and has a really good vibe. I can't remember our server's name, but he was super friendly, personable, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. In recent years it's been updated and modernized, but the front dining area still feels the same. The back area that used to be the banquet hall is now a bar and casual dining area. Funck's got into craft beer and has a great tap list, ranging from national favorites to a lot of local and regional craft. Their food menu is varied with something for everyone. Prices are reasonable for the area and a night out. I've been many times but recently came for a family meal that was on bingo night. We all had meals, tried some craft beer, and played bingo. Our server was new but tried her best and we had a great experience. My only slight disappointment was a lot of the beers I wanted to try were out, with nothing to replace them. I ate an autumn salad with Brussels sprouts and loved it; other family had fish, soup, and cake. All the food was a hit. If you're looking for a family dining experience with quality food and ingredients, plus a good beer selection, this is a great option in Palmyra.
