Turkey & Stuffing
Eric K.

Stopped in over lunch for some good old-fashioned comfort food - an Bob Evans does not disappoint! Service was quick & waitress checked on us frequently. I had Turkey w/ Stuffing & Gravy which was good. location was convenient & plenty of parking. A known (and good) quantity when traveling!

The Everything Breakfast. (I added black pepper and Tabasco)

I was wanting to try something different and Bob Evans was the choice. Living in the area for almost 9 years I haven't tried this location. We entered the establishment and was seated quickly by a friendly staff member. Our friendly waitress took our order quickly but after that is where the disappointment started. I ordered the "Everything breakfast" and when it came to the table it was not to the temperature I thought it should of been. It was pretty much cold. I tried to revive the meal with hot sauce but it was a loss and I didn't finish it. Sometimes I read reviews and ignore them,, maybe I shouldn't do that anymore. My craving probably won't hit me for another 9 years. The waitress was quick but not clean and the restaurant was clean, something is going wrong in the kitchen I suspect.

What even is this...

I've had a bad experience at this location a few years ago with my husband (waitress left for the day and didn't tell us..or her staff that she had a table). Well today, I decided to give them another try and order through DoorDash. I ordered their biscuits and gravy and the gravy even looked funny (too brown and THICK). I stirred it up only to find a "Thursday" label? It's not even Thursday!! But seriously, so gross!! Do better guys. This is disgusting..

Wanted to eat these but doughy and clammy inside. Yuck!

Second time at a Bob Evans and will be my last. The food here is just not good. Pancakes were inedible. So much raw dough and clammy texture. Really disappointed. Hash browns are dehydrated and again, mushy on the inside. Sausage has a very robust taste to it but extremely dry. Eggs were decent. Coffee was good. Orange juice was very good. I sat down thinking I was going to enjoy a nice breakfast at Bob Evans but left really unsatisfied and still hungry. Gotta step up your breakfast game. I do not recommend this location or ANY Bob Evans for your breakfast needs.

We had an excellent waitress named Carol who checked on us throughout the meal getting whatever extras we needed.

We stopped by while we were in the area to have a late lunch - we ordered: +the Seafood Cannelloni - stuffed with shrimp, crab, and ricotta in a housemade pasta, baked, and topped with a choice of cabernet marinara or Parm alfredo sauce; you can also do half and half!; this was actually a pretty okay dish, with the sauces being thick and creamy; the best part, however, as the side of garlic bread that was super garlicky and had a nice crisp to it - amazing when dipping in the sauce! The cannelloni itself was okay, but the seafood filling was a bit overcooked, making both the shrimp bits and the crab rubbery +the Crab Cake Dinner - you can choose 1 or 2 5oz crabcakes; served with a choice of 2 sides; we went for the House Salad and the Skinny Fries; the salad that was served had old/wrinkled tomatoes; just couldn't see why a restaurant would serve something like that to its patrons; we were excited for the crabcakes, but they were less than mediocre; the hot sauce that they had was not a good complement at all; fries were not seasoned at all and forgettable Service was fine, and the place is dim-lit and slightly cramped - if you're sitting at one of the tables set in an angular way, you're bound to be constantly bumped into by the passing service staff and patrons. The chipped beef on toast was outstanding - - they actually put some of it between the two slices and stack the toast up. The potatoes were very tasty. My husband enjoyed his eggs, scrapple and potatoes. The prices were very reasonable. From what I understand, this place might only have two or three employees so if you hit them up at a busy time, please be patient.

But you're out of pancakes... what would someone do if they wanted to order that and you are out of pancakes... just get the combo without pancakes? Or just 86 the combo off the menu? Okay well how about we take 3$ off the price of the combo since you are out of pancakes and we'll just order a side of toast for 1.50 so you lose almost two dollars on that meal????! So then I order an omelette which comes with one choice of meat and three additional toppings and asked if we could put the sausage on the side instead of in the omelette to which again she replied 'chef' does not like changes to the meals. So I said, that's fine I'll just pick it out. When it comes out, all it is, is two sausage patties whole (see pic) laid in the omelet and folded over... well, I guess it just made it easier to pick out. I'm still confused... Other than that, the kids working we're sweet. Just not really nonsensical. The meal was decent and I cannot say that I would not go back. But, kind of primarily because it's the only breakfast gig in town.

Cydney was our waitress. She was superb. We had a party of twelve. She was there for us while also waiting on other tables. She anticipated our needs. There was a woman (maybe a manager or owner) who walked around to every table asking if things were okay. My husband ordered the pasta with marinara (not realizing it came with cheese- he had to send it back, he does not do dairy or meat). They should note that cheese is on it on the menu. I ordered three chicken wings (they were oversized - not my preference), potato salad, black eyed peas and one piece of cornbread. The chicken lacked flavor. It was just big and kind of greasy. The sides were fine. Ordered a piece of sweet potato pie to go and that was fine. The jazz contained a lot of talking. It was nice when they started playing line dancing music and there was a small area to dance. The dancing wasn't offensive or in the way...it was just right. Then came more talking. And advertising of a cruise, etc. It was okay, but I wish they played more music than talking. The same night, the restaurant attempted to charge me for a missed reservation fee ($5 per person). Luckily, I keep my AMEX locked. Weird, I gave my name to the hostess upon check-in. Wonder if that's happened to others. All-in-all, it was an okay experience. Not opposed to trying the restaurant again, but not necessarily rushing to get there.

Great food, nice spot…read more Restaurant was nice and inviting with plenty of seating. When you sit the first thing they bring you is their fresh honey butter croissants. These are fantastic and have to be house-made. They are so flaky and delicious! Our party of 3 sampled the trio appetizers with spinach dip, chicken tenders, and cheese bites. All were excellent! The chips light and crispy. The spinach dip was creamy. The cheese bites were great. The fried chicken tenders had an amazing light and crunchy coating. I'm picky with fried foods and this place is top notch. The battered foods don't feel greasy and have a great crunch. The homemade ranch and honey mustard dressings were a great accompaniment. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The sides were perfect. The chicken fried steak had that great crunchy coating. The steak would have been a little better if the meat had been pounded a little thinner, but was still okay. My friend had a Caesar salad that was too heavy on the dressing, so recommend you order your dressing on the side if you get a salad. The facilities were clean, but I did notice a few issues that needed attention. A broke stall lock and a tile falling off the wall. Our server was fantastic. There was plenty of parking out front. I enjoyed this spot. A great place to eat.

The honey butter croissants are my favorite and you receive them complimentary at the start of your meal. On the latest visit, our server forgot but when asked, she boxed a fresh order up to go. I appreciate her for acknowledging the oversight and immediately making it right. The non-alcoholic drinks have add in options but I've found the syrup to be overpowering and optional. Portion sizes are appropriate for the price point and I've been happy with my choices thus far. There is booth seating, a bar and they do have alcohol based drinks. This is a good spot if you want to grab and go, have a date night, group gathering and solo dining. No automatic gratuity is added but the young adults do a great job and tipping appropriately is encouraged. I'd dine here again and I look forward to exploring more of their menu.
