Bob and Sons did an exceptional job re-painting our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The job was fairly extensive and they were great in completing it in a tight timeframe. We could not be happier with the results and would definitely use them again. We were recommended to Bob and Sons by a great carpenter who has done a bunch of work in our home. We were extremely pleased with Danny from Bob and Sons and recommended him to our neighbors (who also had their kitchen re-painted) and we are all delighted with the results. Here are the things that are great about them: 1. Price. I received 5 different estimates and Danny's estimate was the lowest/most competitive. 2. Project execution. Danny and his crew lacquer spray painted our kitchen. This is an extremely labor intensive job that requires a tremendous amount of clean-up. They spent a TON of time cleaning/dusting our entire apartment, taking special care to ensure that our 2 toddlers' toys were particularly dust-free and clean. 3. Customer service. Always responsive and very flexible in working around our schedule. Danny has also followed up a couple of times since the project was completed to ensure that we are happy and 100% satisfied with the results. They also worked very well with our building's super and were careful to be very clean/neat in the building's common areas. I was initially skeptical after reading the recommended reviews, and when I spoke to Daniel and he mentioned that I should look at the additional reviews. Well I did, and was still a little hesitant but after speaking with Daniel and numerous exchange of messages I decided to go with them. I'm glad I did. I got to meet Bob (dad) half way through the chairs getting refinished and these guys could not have been nicer nor more professional. I have already told Daniel that they will be entrusted with a piece of furniture that was part of my parents bedroom bought in 1944. Not only will it be an intricate restoration, but more importantly Daniel understands the sentimental value it has. Hopefully the 2nd of many more projects. A business partner and I visited their location within the Brooklyn Dockyard and was thoroughly impressed first, with their professionalism and the way they dealt with clients and secondly their work was flawless. I was also impress with a piece they were working on which was being carved from a huge tree trunk yet the details and craftsmanship was unbelievable. When inquiring as to where such skills were learned Bob the father and owner told me it was a skill past down from generations of fathers to sons as his father past it on to him and he to his sons. I hired these guys to strip and refinish my grandmother's dinner room set from the late 60's, my first impression was that they knew a lot about antique furniture. I was given a very good price for the job, I was told that the work would take any where from 6-8 weeks to be done and my husband and I agreed to that, FYI it was done and back in my house in 5 weeks just in time for our family gathering. All my family memebers couldn't believe that this was same dinner room set we use to eat on at my grandmothers house. Bob and Sons are awesome! They worked on most of the furniture in my house. Three bedrooms, stairway etc. and all I can say is "Job well done" My son is in love with the color of his bedroom set. My husband is very satisfied with the results in our bedroom. Nice, clean and smooth work. They arrived on time everyday while working on my stairs and the staff was friendly with my two chilrdren.
