I had been meaning to get the seats on my dining room chairs refurbished and reupholstered for a long time, and given that I expected company within a week, suddenly realized I needed to get it done quickly. Not only were Jack and Patricio extremely helpful in sending me initial quotes and pictures of fabric samples, I was delighted that they are a local business right in my neighborhood - meaning I was able to go to their workshop the next day and look at fabric that they had available. (They have a huge range of beautiful fabrics that they can order, but given my rush, I decided that I wanted to go with what they had, especially since I had very simple needs in this case.) After I took my swatches and made my choice a few hours later, they came to pick up the chairs the same day and got them done beautifully and elegantly, well ahead of the deadline that I had requested. I am so happy with my chairs, which refresh the look of my entire kitchen/dining area. And I will definitely be working with HC Reup Design again soon, as I have another project coming up! My leather couch cushions were sinking in when I sat down and there wasn't much support. (Working from home during COVID-19 didn't help either.) I called on Monday and received a very reasonable price for my back cushions as well as my seated cushions. Since HC REUP DESIGN is located close to my area in Brooklyn they came by that day and took my cushions. I received everything back two days later (that Wednesday). Patricio, Mauricio, and Jack were extremely professional, highly responsive and communicative, and they made quick work out of reupholstering the entire couch. It was in terrible shape, and it now arguably looks better than when we bought it. They did an incredible job reupholstering a set of 4 dining chairs that we found at a flea market! Jack and Patricio offer fantastic customer service and were very enjoyable to work with. They worked with our budget for both labor and fabric, and even ended up making some minor repairs to the backs of the chairs for free when they noticed some damage when we brought them in. Jack and I mainly corresponded via text and he helped me decide on the right fabric, and even came for a (masked, socially distant) in-home visit so I could see the actual fabric swatches in person against the chairs.
