I had been meaning to get the seats on my dining room chairs refurbished and reupholstered for a long time, and given that I expected company within a week, suddenly realized I needed to get it done quickly. Not only were Jack and Patricio extremely helpful in sending me initial quotes and pictures of fabric samples, I was delighted that they are a local business right in my neighborhood - meaning I was able to go to their workshop the next day and look at fabric that they had available. (They have a huge range of beautiful fabrics that they can order, but given my rush, I decided that I wanted to go with what they had, especially since I had very simple needs in this case.) After I took my swatches and made my choice a few hours later, they came to pick up the chairs the same day and got them done beautifully and elegantly, well ahead of the deadline that I had requested. I am so happy with my chairs, which refresh the look of my entire kitchen/dining area. And I will definitely be working with HC Reup Design again soon, as I have another project coming up! I highly recommend them, and am also very happy to support a local business. read more

Outstanding craftsmanship! We couldn't be happier. Jack was very helpful and helped with everything we were looking for.

I only asked for a quote from this business and the owner was hostile. I'm glad I know that before doing business. The price was outrageous.

I decided to freshen up my office for a grand reopening. I had never done this before, but decided to try reupholstering a chair that I love rather than replacing it. I was uncertain about how this would go, but I couldn't possibly be more pleased. My chair looks better than it did, even when it was brand new! The craftsmanship is impeccable and the customer service was outstanding. I'm a picky consumer and I recommend this company wholeheartedly. My office looks as though it is housing a brand new, elegant chair. read more

My leather couch cushions were sinking in when I sat down and there wasn't much support. (Working from home during COVID-19 didn't help either.) I called on Monday and received a very reasonable price for my back cushions as well as my seated cushions. Since HC REUP DESIGN is located close to my area in Brooklyn they came by that day and took my cushions. I received everything back two days later (that Wednesday). Patricio and Jack are very attentive (they respond quickly and do the work quickly) and the quality of the filling was the middle gauge/blue which is EXCELLENT! My couch feels brand new. read more

I had an outstanding experience with this company. Patricio, Mauricio, and Jack were extremely professional, highly responsive and communicative, and they made quick work out of reupholstering the entire couch. It was in terrible shape, and it now arguably looks better than when we bought it. I had a sleeper sofa with attached cushions, so they essentially had to take the entire, heavy couch apart and put it all back together. I cannot recommend them more highly. Thanks so much to you all! read more

I needed to get a chair and ottoman reupholstered -- the pieces have been in my family for many years and have sentimental value, so I was a bit nervous about the process. HC Reup was extremely responsive, reasonably priced, delivered well ahead of schedule, and did beautiful work. I'm shocked at how comfortable the chair is now in addition to looking like new! Will definitely be using them again for any future needs. read more

I reached out to several companies to get a quote for replacing the cushion on my chair before deciding on HC Reup. They gave me a great price and let me visit their studio (socially distanced) to pick out fabrics before finalizing things. Their studio was very professional, turnaround was quick, and they were communicative throughout the project. At the end of the day I couldn't be more happy with the results. I highly recommend trying them out for your next project. Thanks for the great work!! read more

They did an incredible job reupholstering a set of 4 dining chairs that we found at a flea market! Jack and Patricio offer fantastic customer service and were very enjoyable to work with. They worked with our budget for both labor and fabric, and even ended up making some minor repairs to the backs of the chairs for free when they noticed some damage when we brought them in. Jack and I mainly corresponded via text and he helped me decide on the right fabric, and even came for a (masked, socially distant) in-home visit so I could see the actual fabric swatches in person against the chairs. The work was completed quickly, Jack communicated with me often throughout the process, and we couldn't be happier with our new chairs. Thank you Jack and Patricio! read more

Great communication, very kind service, went above and beyond. It was a little expensive, but worth it for the expertise - the work was a little more complex than I expected and even if I were able to figure out how to do it, I'm sure I would have done a much poorer job. My sofa looks so much better now. Would use again. read more

The arm on my couch needed to be repaired and it wasn't an easy job. A lot of places either said they couldn't do it or wanted to take the piece out; however, HC Reup Design saw my photos and came prepared to do exactly what they said.
