The only thing is that there's no bathroom inside (that I could find) and there are cops inside, so that might change you're experience.

I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with both companies. Ilona at Demolition was so helpful and patient with me. She went out of her way to help navigate what would or wouldn't work for my project. She she spent loads of time to find the perfect solution to my unique security problem. She was candid and had loads of amazing tips for the care and feeding of old wrought iron. This project would have stalled without her. The pictures show the iron door in the second stage. First, I placed the order back in October and didn't receive it for months with delivery dates constantly being pushed back. I understand there are supply chain issues, so I took less issue with the delay. However, the item also arrived completely defective with the wardrobe doors and handles entirely uneven so that one of the doors wouldn't even close. Then, for the first week I had the item I kept hearing loud popping noises coming from it (I thought I was going crazy). Upon further inspection, I saw that the popping noises were actually from the wood splitting and cracking all over. Customer service agreed to ship a new one, but when the delivery company arrived they weren't told it was White Glove (even though that was the original delivery method). I had to send it back with the delivery company and am still waiting for the item. Perhaps most frustrating of all is the fact that they wouldn't arrange to have the defective piece picked up and told me "I could keep it", which meant I had to figure out how to get a massive wooden wardrobe out of my NYC apartment on the second floor by myself. Oh, and they use Metropolitan Warehouse for delivery which is horrible. Seriously, so horrible that it was my first ever Yelp review I've left (this is my second). Anyway, I feel duped and could have had a functioning wardrobe months ago if I had avoided this place.

When the time came to pay for my order, I learned, I may not have a delivery until the weekend. Unexpectedly, the regional manager said he would make arrangements for a sooner delivery. I was at awe. On the day of delivery, I was excited about all of the beautiful items Sharon and I selected. The men who delivered my furniture realized the sofa was too large to fit in the elevator, I called the store to speak with the store manager named Kash, who was always very polite, and took time to demonstrate the floor items for me while making selections. While on the telephone with him he remained calm and gave me other options. Sharon took time on her day off to call me to make sure my delivery was going smoothly, she assured me that the men would be able to bring the sofa in my apartment, and kept me at ease. Eric designed and built a pantry cabinet for me as well as installed a glass shower door for my bathroom. Eric was prompt with his starting date, and he completed all the projects with the highest degree of professionalism. As a result of his great work, my mom wanted to hire him for more household projects. Eric came to my mom's house, took the measurements, and helped with the design. Unfortunately, my elderly mom was struck with covid and in the end she had to give up all the household renovation. We offered to pay Eric for the initial design work he had done for us but he graciously declined the offer. Eric was so understanding about our situation that he even expressed best wishes for my mom's healing.
