The staff is super friendly and helpful throughout your whole experience. I got their ube matcha and grabbed a matcha cookie as well. The cookie was phenomenal and the white chocolate chips give it a good balance of sweetness. As for the ube matcha, I really enjoyed the flavor and how potent the ube taste was, the texture was a little off for me. Since it was separated, I used my frothed to mix it all together, but it kept separating and flaking. I do love their matcha, so I still highly recommend making a stop in!

Let me tell you that our visit did not disappoint! The moment I walked in the place was packed with people, laughing and chatting. By the time we ordered, the place had cleared out quite a bit so the point where we could dine in. The hospitality was 10/10. But I am not surprised because my people are some of the nicest most loving fun people! Being Puerto Rican has such a pride that is attached and the moment you walk in, seeing the flag, and the street signs as if you were in San Juan made me so happy and proud to be Puerto Rican. Rosa was so sweet! Checking in and making sure that we were happy and comfortable. She also let us know that if we thought the lattes were too sweet that you can order it half sweet. Both were perfection. My husband doesn't really like sweet drinks, but he said his Coquito latte was the perfect balance. All of the food we got... My husband also got a sandwich that I did not picture... Was delicious and authentic to what I know. This was only my first time visit visiting the café and I will surely be back!

The coquito latte is SO much better iced as traditional coquito is enjoyed as a chilled drink; definitely recommend, it was so delicious. Also tried the Cuban sandwich, as I ordered it I was asked what kind of cheese I wanted, which I thought was strange because a classic Cuban comes with Swiss cheese, if you put any other cheese on it, it's not a Cuban sandwich. Nonetheless the sandwich was tasty, but it could use a little less salt. A family member ordered the alcapurrias & yuca relleno to share. The yuca relleno was tasty & the alcapurria was better than my first visit here but could use a bit less salt. Sorrullos & guava quesito were yummy, definitely a favorite here along with the iced coquito latte. Overall, food was pretty good, a bit on the saltier side, but not too over salted that it would've made it inedible. Ambience was a laid-back. We did have to ask for the AC to be turned down a bit because it was so warm inside, I was sweating & that didn't make it a comfortable visit for a dine in experience. They were able to turn it down so it cooled down eventually. Would come again and try more menu item!

It's the type of place that the regulars have their favorite seats and mugs to use. I walked in and there was a group of 5 chatting about current events sipping coffee at the bar. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful. You get the 80s vibes with 90s prices. I mean it I got 2 sandwiches and a medium coffee for $16.50. The rolls they use for the breakfast sandwiches are perfect. Nice and light with great flavor. They aren't the biggest sandwiches, you might need 2 if you eat a lot, but they are good and cheap. You can always order a second and it will be the same price as other spots. We took this order to go and now we plan to go back on the weekend to dine in and get the whole experience.

Definitely an instagram worthy spot with booths all equipped with outlets and the window seats also have ports for chargers as well. Even when theres a bit of a crowd the noise is still at a good level to hold phone call meetings privately! Food: A solid range of menu items whether you're someone who wants a savory breakfast, they offer fresh omelettes, breakfast sandwiches and bagels with various cream cheese! For the sweet breakfast, they offer so many different pastries fresh from the oven! I opted for a toasted bagels with cream cheese because I'm a sucker for a good jersey bagel ! Drinks are the same with variety, from Americanos to smoothies to matcha lattes. Something for everyone is an understatement! I got the matcha latte. Service: I showed up when it wasn't busy so everything was made for me very fast and served very fast! The staff members greeted you with a smile and everyone was very nice when serving and collecting my plate when I was finished. I love finding cafes to work from with the music at a regular volume because it's hard to make some calls with music blasting. They also play classical music which is actually quite helpful for focus with some! (Yes I am that "some") . All in all I will make this a regular spot! Plenty of street parking too!
