This year we had to get on the road even earlier than normal so we needed a place that was close, open early, and accompanied our two little furry kiddos. That meant Mirro's checked all the boxes; opened at 8:00am-check, 2 miles from our house-check, and a lovely covered outside porch that was large enough for our party of 12. While we couldn't all sit at one big table, it still gave each of us time to visit before the long drives/flights home. And the cool breeze keep everyone cool during the meal. Ordering is done at the counter inside. They had multiple registers open to keep the flow moving. When asked for suggestions, the staff quickly pointed out their favorites, while listening to what each person wanted. The food came out quickly, hot, and exactly as ordered. The "silver dollar" pancakes were bigger than expected , which was a nice surprise. Our group tried the classic, the banana, and the chocolate chip options. Not one bite left on the plate. Light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Some others tried the omelets, biscuits w/gravy, and bagel sandies. Everyone finished it all. This menu might not be the most adventurous for some but we found it to be a good solid diner, with friendly staff serving quickly.
