Loved the convenience of this place! Called in an order after doing some shopping and picked it up on my way back to the condo. Located in a plaza so has plenty of parking spaces also has some tables/gazebo outside for dining as well. I was greeted as soon as I entered and taken care of promptly. I was in and out in no time. I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla and it was delicious! Plenty of cheese and comes with sour cream and chips with salsa. You can't go wrong with this place. Today was our first time eating at Buxton Munch Co. It was delicious. We had the grilled mahi as a salad in a fried tortilla shell. The sesame ginger dressing was the "icing on the cake." I can't believe I've never written a review about Buxton Munch! It's a Hatteras Island staple for me, one of the spots I visit numerous times whenever I'm in town. You can't order wrong at Buxton Munch. My go-to order is the chicken honey mustard wrap, but I've never ordered anything that I didn't love. The buffalo chicken wrap and fish tacos are also among my favorites. No matter what you order, the servings are very generous; I almost always have leftovers. It's always busy during the summer, so I recommend getting there within an hour of when they open. Once it gets busy, they stop taking takeout orders. We usually pick up take out so we can eat our wraps on the beach, but it's always fun to dine in! There's a decent amount of indoor seating, and a few tables outside. If you eat inside, you can enjoy the funky, eclectic decor! read more

When doing research for our Outer Banks trip, this place came up as somewhere you needed to go for fish tacos. Covid-19: I believe they are takeout only right now. You call them to place your order and pay over the phone. They brought our food out to us. They have picnic tables on the other side of the parking lot where we enjoyed our food. We got the Blackened Rockfish Tacos and the Crab Cake Sandwich. Both were very good. The crab cake had great flavor. The fish tacos were the star of the show. They come with all the ingredients and you assemble your own. The fish was flaky and seasoned perfectly. My only complaint is that they seemed to give you tons of toppings compared to the amount of fish/tortillas. If you're in Buxton, I highly recommend stopping here for fish tacos! read more

Two years since we were here. Food is still good and staff friendly. I had the trigger fish taco and my husband had the shrimp. My son enjoyed the quesadilla. All good is ordered via phone and they bring it out to you. They have picnic tables and umbrellas for you to enjoy your food. The place is tiny and had a wait list even when we could see empty tables inside. This just isn't a good place to eat around lunch time.
