The service center here makes me regret having purchased a MINI. They don't provide a car for use while cars get serviced, their drop off/pick up service doesn't go far enough to get me close to home or work, nor do they provide an Uber or Lyft. Basic service takes a full day, but despite having an appointment and telling me the car would be ready by end of business it wasn't ready until the next day. It's worth taking a day off work to drive to Sacramento for service. I regret having purchased the 3 year prepaid oil change. Go elsewhere, or better yet, don't buy a BMW or MINI. This is my second YELP for Concord BMW. I tool my car to sell to them because I am moving. They offered 19k, blur Book is 28k, CarMax offered me 22K and a non BMW dealer. It was an insult, when I said a non BMW dealer offered 22 they said take it there. Why in the world would anyone want to do business with a used car lot that disguises itself as a BMW dealer. Just to add, I did not buy it there, but all of ky overpriced service has been done there. Also 3 of my closest friends all drive BMWs and not one bought there!! Do yiu see a pattern? This place is an absolute home and they do jot care about their clients. Go to BMW of Pleasanton or Steven's Creek BMW, those are real BMW dealers. Service depart charges a lot to tell you what you already know without making repairs. The stereo of my x5 was not working so I took it in and paid $295 for a diagnosis. They took it for a lengthy test drive and told me the stereo doesn't work. They plugged in the diagnostic tools the same as I had already done at o'reilley for free. In summary, they wanted another $700+ to "look into it further". In my opinion, they do not use any critical thinking skills or deductive reasoning. Instead of listening to the customer, they blindly follow a procedure guide and do not use common sense or leverage previous shared knowledge/experience. For example, in 90% of the cases how did you fix stereos in the past? How can you fast track a repair? Not, how can we milk the customer for a $1000+ just to "think on it" and regurgitate what is already established when the customer walked in. read more

DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I took my car in for maintenance and they found 8 things wrong with the car. I then took my car to a local shop that my colleague had been going to for 20+ years. They only found 2 things wrong with the car. They showed me during their own inspection that the other 6 things BMW wanted me to fix were in great condition and did not need to be repaired. These BMW "advisors" are commissioned and need to be reported. Take your car to a local business that is honest, still uses factory parts, and charges you way less for labor. Side note - when I chose not to do the work with them and pick my car up, the complimentary car wash that came with my $300 inspection turned into my car covered in leaves and pollen. Stay away from these frauds. Initial experience was good until we got to the financing, we were at the dealership and was asked to "zoom" the finance manager right in the lobby. He was unprofessional, not very knowledgable and made some inappropriate jokes. We had to dial in on our phones and try to read and sign for the agreements. After a very painful signing, it was another hell of a 2 months period where the finance manager could not figure out how to set up our paperwork. We requested to finance through our Credit Union that we have banked with for over 10 years and had them tell us the paperwork submitted was incorrect. When reporting my experience to the manager there was nothing at all. Let's also talk about this "Dentpro" coverage. It was advertised by our sales person as an easy process - go into any BMW dealership for service. We go to our local BMW to find out that that is not the case and we have to call some number to log a claim. I called the service number that lead me to a disconnected line and a cell phone that has a full mailbox. I would stay away from this inefficient and dishonest dealership. read more

I HATE this dealership! Even from the first day we walked into the Mini dealership to buy my wife's car they have been a hassle to work with. Looking back, I wish I had never bought a car from this dealership. On the day my wife picked up her new car (during Covid) they told us if you have any questions about the operation of the car just go to YouTube. Really? I had just purchased a new Toyota Tacoma about a month earlier, no issues with the Toyota dealership, and they took the time to go over all the bells and whistles. I was comfortable with my new Toyota the day I left the lot. But my real gripe with Concord BMW is their service dept. I live in Napa, and even for an oil change I have to take a loaner, which means 3-4 hours of driving over two days. Their service department doesn't seem to have the ability to make an appointment and just get a simple oil change and inspection done on the spot. I don't want to take a loaner, and I don't want to come back the next day to get my car. Every time I have service done I complain and they refuse to work with me. In other words, it's their way or the highway. I promise, I will never buy another car from this dealership and I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I recently purchased a used BMW, and when the time came for my first oil change I decided to bring it in to BMW Concord. To be honest, I was a bit nervous in reading some of the earlier reviews, but my experience went well. I made an appointment, and received both a text and email notice, and a reminder the day before. When I got to the service center, I was assisted by Francis Dejesus. He gave me an estimated cost of around $100, and they offered me a free Lyft ride home. The car was ready for pickup in the afternoon, at the estimated price, and had been nicely washed and vacuumed. All told, a good experience. read more

And he was available any time I had any questions/concerns. He didn't try push me toward any warranties or options, he gave me every available option and made sure I made the right choice for me. If Kris didn't have the answer, he referred to Leo who stepped in and provided some assistance. The day I took delivery, the BMW Genius Tech William M was very patient and informed me of the key points to my vehicle. It would've taken the whole day to explain everything about the system, but William hit all the major points. He didn't take too much of my time but addressed any concern I had. He had a great attitude and showed enthusiam for informing me (1st EV driver) of how my vehicle operates. The whole experience was amazing and now I get to enjoy my iX50. Service department has horrible customer service. When I called to schedule a service appt, I explained everything I needed. When I arrived, the service rep had no clue about what services I was requesting so I had to repeat everything. Why wasn't there any service notes? The complimentary Lyft as shuttle service is only one-way but other dealerships offer 2-way shuttle service. I asked for an estimate on a service and the service rep only gave the price for the part. I had to ask to figure out if there was a labor charge...why not tell me the whole cost when I request an estimate? The service rep asked via text if I approve a service at 4:15pm. I approved at 4:23pm. At 5:45pm I had not heard any status about my car. I asked the service rep and he said he never received my approval. I said I sent him the approval at 4:23pm. He then said it doesn't matter, the dealership closes at 5pm and the car will be ready tomorrow. Why didn't he give me an update on my car on his own? Finally, the parts department sold me the wrong bulb for my car. I asked the service rep if he can exchange the bulbs so I get credit on my bill for the wrong part that the parts dept sold me. He said he cannot because they "sold it to me not him." It's one dealership parts and service should work together, especially when one dept sells an incorrect item to the customer. We have a 2011 that experienced an infrequent part failure and not only did they thoroughly check to be sure they got the correct diagnosis, they made the repairs and fixed a couple recalls that had been lingering because I was unaware. Kevin went the extra mile to investigate the warranty coverage. While he didn't make a promise up front to cover it, the research he put forth revealed it was indeed still under warranty and they made good on the repairs. They did a comprehensive eval and even gave it a wash and vac. Shady business!!! They tried to tell me after they performed VANOS recall that my car needed $1700 worth of work. I said that can't be right. My car ran perfect when I brought it to you guys to begin with. I go in there today with my dad and we ask for a manager they then change their story and say that it was a technician error when the recall was performed and that the the tech didn't time the vehicle correctly. As a first time buyer on my own as a young gal, Lena's tone of voice put me at ease. I like to consider myself as someone who is intuitive and can read people well and I went into the place with the notion that these people are trying to sell.
