I've driven past this establishment numerous times and always noticed how long the line was. Today, I decided to try them out. The colors of the building and menu boards are bright and colorful. There were plenty of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy but we decided to take a walk on this beautiful day. The outside of Bmore Licks reminded me of Rita's where you place your order to an associate on the other side of the window, pay (cashless only), and get your ice cream from another window. I liked that the napkin box was mounted on the outside as opposed to having to ask for some. Our server was extremely friendly and nice. It appears the majority of the ice creams are soft serve in many different flavors, they also serve hard ice creams, milkshakes, floats, ice cream tacos, and treats for dogs. My husband had a soft serve Strawberry Banana which melted in your mouth and I had a hard chocolate with pieces of brownie in a waffle cone which was also good. I was actually headed to Moo Moo Cow but they were closed today. I made a pivot and found this cute little popular ice cream shop " Bmore Licks" which is a funny and catchy name lol first off I noticed they had an outdoor seating area , it was already taken up but at least they have outside seating. I went inside the air conditioning felt nice . I was greeted by two friendly teens who explained the flavors to me and let me try a few. They don't have any sugar free options for folks who are trying to watch the sugar in take which is unfortunate , but they did have plenty of unique and creative flavors. You can tell that this is the neighborhood go- to spot for a sweet treat. There were plenty of patrons, not bad for a Monday afternoon. Nice clean environment. I wanted a Kiddie size lol but I could not decide between two flavors cookie butter and Cuban Coffee Oreo so ended up getting a scoop of both. Both were really good flavors. The coffee and Oreo gave a punch of expresso flavor paired with the tradition taste of Oreo, delightful. The Cookie Butter tasted like a delicious medley of vanilla, biscoff cookie and caramel blended goodness. I liked how they tasted together. They gave a nice hefty portion, I could not and would not eat the entire thing lol definitely a sugar rush but I nice treat for a beautiful day. I was surprised that they didn't have any rewards or electronic reward point system for patrons. If I were to make any recommendation, it would be that. Maybe I am more of an ice cream girlie than I think I am. Came here after dinner in the area with some friends in town. The soft serve is what makes this place really special. Tons of flavors - an overwhelming amount and this place was BUMPING on a Tuesday night. They have dole whip here which is super special bc you can't find that anywhere else in the city. Bmore Licks is the most complete ice cream place in Baltimore. What I mean by this is they can fulfill the ice cream desires for most people. You prefer soft serve? They got you. Hand dipped? They got you. Vegan? Coffee and ice cream float? Shakes? Brownie sundaes? Fruit whips? They got you. Options don't really matter if the quality isn't there and thankfully Bmore Licks delivers. They offer some of the finest vegan ice cream that's not from a totally vegan joint in the city. During my separate visits I've enjoyed a cone of vegan cotton candy, vegan Cap'n Crunch and a vegan Mint Chip. I love that not only does Bmore Licks offer typical vegan flavors, but they also veganize some of their not so typical ones. That's what sets them apart from some of the other ice cream places in town. This location offers an option to order inside or outside. The parking here seems to be a bit easier to navigate than the other location although I do usually park far away and walk. You want great vegan (or non vegan) ice cream with lots of options? I love this place! I mainly go to the one in Fells Point but I was in the area so I decided to check it out! They have so many fun flavors and the weather was nice so of course the line was long... BUT they do also take orders indoors so don't let the outside line fool you! The prices are pretty comparable to what you would pay for other gourmet ice cream places. Just another week of going to Bmore Licks LOL. I have been to both Bmore Licks locations but I noticed this location is lacking reviews, so I'll write one. No joke, I have lived next two both locations. One year at Fed Hill, this year by Patterson. Maybe it was destined for me to be in walking to Bmore Licks! The staff at both location are friendly, organized, quick communicators, and very quick to get you your order even on the busiest days. I appreciate they have varieties of ice cream for dairy and non-dairy patrons. Outside both locations is pretty chill, inside it's colorful, warm, and cozy. I've been coming here consistently for the past few years that I've lived in Baltimore, and it has not disappointed. Bmore licks is the cutest ice cream place serving up crazy flavors! I am always so overwhelmed by their never ending list of soft serve flavors. I got the pumpkin oreo which was a little underwhelming. Was very sugary and did not taste like pumpkin so I was a bit sad. But my husband's cookie dough and captain crunch cone was bangin and totally made up for it. The service is pretty quick and everyone is super nice. I am a lil perturbed they didn't have my fav there last time (roasted banana pecan cheesecake!!!) but the staff was able to whip me up something else fairly close to it. B'more licks reportedly banned me after the employee serving my son and me the said I, a black, disabled, retired military senior citizen, made her uncomfortable and made a lewd comment while reaching in my pants. I supposedly did this with my son standing next to me and a lot of customers within eye and earshot. My son and I went directly to dinner with my wife after ice hockey practice and I was wearing my coaching jumpsuit over my shorts. We were skating on ice and ice is very cold. To pay for my order, I had to get to my wallet, which was in my shorts, which was under my jumpsuit!!! My son was wearing his jumpsuit also. I returned to the establishment the next day after learning of the accusation. The manager confirmed B'more licks banned me. The manager also informed me employees would dial 911 on me if I entered the premises. Based on personal experience. that would not end well for me, based on decades of personal experience. I have no criminal record but I have had hundreds of encounters in my almost 60 years of being a black male and being accused/attacked of/for looking at white women/people the wrong way, looking "intimidating," being handcuffed/detained (be it face down on the ground, on my knees against a wall, in the back of a police car, etc.) for "fitting the description" which was only two words--black male. I pray the server and B'more licks leadership have never faced such humiliation, but, if they have, I'm sure it has not been a repeat affair. It's disappointing that, in 2024, bmore licks condones racism at its highest level. I provided my contact information but did not hear from B'more licks. Even worse, they're trying to assassinate my character and reputation by portraying me as some sort of deviant when I did nothing wrong. Not the first time a white person (be it the server at the window or her bosses) have tried to remind me of my "place." Shame on you. read more

I came across this shop on the search for some delicious ice cream. It was far, about an hour drive from where I live in Maryland but my friends and I decided it would be worth it to make the trek since the reviews were so good. Upon arrival the shop is was unexpectedly closed despite their hours stating they were opened. We arrived around 7:30 and the location was set to close at 9:00. Lights in the store were off and nobody present. All social media and the website mentioned nothing about the closed shop so I'm not sure what happened.
