    Wedge Salad with steak (medium)
    Melyna S.

Came for dinner, we were a group of 8 and I am so glad they have a big table in the back that was able to accommodate us and then some!! We were looking for a place close by an event we were at to have a sit down meal for a group with two minors. Thankful they were family friendly and super friendly when we called and explained what we were looking for. The menu is different...not a lot of variety, but sometimes that is not a bad thing! I had a wedge salad that was delicious and the perfectly cooked steak I added to it made it so much better! Unfortunately a couple people in our group got the fish and chips and referred to it as eating corn dogs...more batter than fish. The kids menu had 4 options - grilled cheese, chicken tenders, cheeseburger and pasta with red sauce. It's a nice place with plenty of tables and booths, nicely decorated and a good vibe! The music was good and not loud which is great if you want to have actual conversations with the people you are with!

I was in the Vegas Henderson area of Nevada last week and we decided we try our Boulevard since it was on Rezy and they had reservations available to accommodate my group. We made a reservation for 730 and when we showed up the hostess could not find our reservation, but there was ample seating so we were seated right away. We ordered the shrimp appetizer first and our server. Kirsten walked them out quickly and they were delicious. We gobbled them up quickly. There were four of us so I ended up getting the burger. It was a smokehouse burger and I got it without the cheese medium well it was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was cooked just the way I liked it. A couple of us ended up having steaks and although they asked for the steaks medium well the steaks came out well done they were still edible and they enjoyed them. Some members of our group has salad and they enjoyed the salad as well. We also had a dessert that we shared. It looked pretty good so I tried some of the whipped cream off the top. The place is OK. It had a lot of TVs they were watching hockey and baseball mostly. It wouldn't be my first choice, but I'd go back again no problem. The staff seemed friendly enough. There was one gentleman who stared at us for a while and so I stared back at him and then eventually he came over and asked how our meal was I noticed that he worked there after I asked him and he just asked how everything was going. I have to say several of the dishes were served with grilled asparagus, and I really enjoyed the asparagus. It was cooked perfectly and I'd be happy to try it again.

We had great service here. The server was attentive and kept the water full. Its kind of dark but a nice set up inside. Vibe wise it was only hockey and baseball on the 8 TVs when we walked in. The salmon was enjoyable. It comes with a hash that was decent but I preferred the mashed potatoes. The kale caesar salad was delicious. Kinda disappointing we ordered 2 medium steaks that came out well DONE. Still solid flavor enjoyed it w A1 sauce. They said the cobbler pie does not have any crust so we got the brownie sundae, which was huge and delicious.

    Happy hour description

One of the best happy hours around, no foolin'. BLVD Grille is a local sports bar that replaced the old Hardway 8 on Water Street in Henderson. I was looking around for a happy hour and found this one, valid Mon-Fri 3-6pm. Notable items include $3 light beer, "$5" house cocktails (marg, mule, espresso martini), $5 select apps (wings, cheeseburger eggrolls, crispy shrimp, onion strings, street corn nachos), and a couple other drink options. I started with a Moscow Mule (actually rang up as $4.00), which was refreshing and not watered down. The ginger note was a lot more prominent than the lime, even after I squeezed in the wedge of lime served as garnish. I still enjoyed it overall though. I also tried two apps. The Cheeseburger Eggrolls were hot, crispy, and heavy. They really relied on the creamy bistro sauce (similar to a special sauce) to tie everything together, so make sure to portion that properly. The Crispy Shrimp had a light batter that kinda fell off easily, and the sauce which supposedly had gochujang was a nice accompaniment. I do wish that they'd included much more slaw to keep it lighter since I really loved bites with a good portion of slaw. Service was pretty good, giving me ample times to order more (which maybe I should have since I'm kinda hungry now). The bright light streaming through the skylights was welcome, so hopefully it's well-lit enough at night. For the great pricing at happy hour, I'll definitely consider returning to BLVD Grille on weekday late afternoons. Check it out if you have a chance!

Been a minute since we been here. Our server Kristenlynn was great. We were sat as soon as we entered and I forgot how nice and also open the dining area is. There was a live musician, nice touch for date night! Started with apps and drinks which came out very promptly. The apps were great, hot and tasty! You have to try the cheeseburger Eggrolls! Great Old Fashioned by the way. We ordered a wine from their list which I found very moderately priced. Our food was about as close to perfect as we could ask for! Chicken Parm was cooked just crispy and juicy and tender with Red Sauce and Mozzarella. The Salmon was Not overcooked like you get a lot of places!! Overall great experience!

Picture does not do justice The grilled chicken caprese is DELLLICIOUS pair with an arugula salad making it fresh and light must have with sweet tangy balsamic vinaigrette on that just brings everything together AMAZING. Also got the Mac & cheese (no peppers sharing with kids) and it was sooo good. Got a cheese burger with fries for my kid from the kids menu BIG PORTION, an adult could order and the portion is definitely big enough for an adult to be satisfied and the fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection even though this was a delivery one everything was nice and warm and still crispy upon delivery 10/10 I wish I have gotten a photo, but unfortunately, my phone could not eat first it was that GOOOD order got here in like 30 minutes, and everything was WARM and delicious LOOOOVEEE LOVE LOVE

Detour! The place is neighborly, dimly lit but a garage front opening for your experience. St. Patrick's celebration happened earlier so kind of festive atmosphere. Good sized television monitors were set on the walls. Our server was nice, helpful and had a steady flow. The food came out in a timely manner. There was a more neatly dressed gentleman that saw us several times: waiting to be seated, once seated and during dining. Oddly enough he never said a word to us but circled the restaurant all evening.,... the Manager. Hhmm! We ordered:: only Pepsi drink products, no sweet tea... It started out a bit rough but got better...Brussels sprouts, shrimp scampi with tiny shrimp, chicken fingers & fries, Mac n cheese (cavatapi noodles) with small shrimp, cheeseburger egg rolls, and for dessert: brownie with ice cream and Godiva chocolate cheesecake. The food was flavorful but 1I wouldn't go back.

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING DO NOT RECOMMEND Walking in the place is beautiful, spacious and clean. We're coming from out of town and just wanted something good to eat based on pictures it looked like a good place to try. We were happy to come during happy hour since it's advertised outside their building. The host was kind and welcoming. I found it odd that I had to ask for the HH menu and the server was hesitant on telling me what's part of the HH menu. Based on our server she recommended the house margarita. IT WAS DISGUSTING! I requested a new drink outside of the HH menu that was ALSO DISGUSTING. I'm also disappointed that the server was watching me the whole time when it came to tipping. I honestly should have tipped $0 The food was plated nicely but DRY, BLAND, AND TASTELESS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

This was certainly a festive and decorated venue! This restaurant opened circa 2023 on Water street. The place has a classy feel, and the menu totally fits the bill. The staff was friendly, but they hesitated a when I asked to swap a side. They begrudgingly did it, though, which was nice i guess. I'd get it if they were slammed, but the place was pretty empty so swapping one side for another shouldn't have been a second thought. Oh, and the prime rib? Absolutely delicious! The potatoes were as well. Would i come back? Well that depends, there are a couple other dishes i'd like to sample here so i may! If you live near Water st, you may want to check this out.

Dim lighting, velvet booths, phenomenal food and drinks, a few slot games at the bar...solid 5 stars. The Swing It! Girls were great for the live music and really set the vibe too. The restaurant and staff did an amazing job serving our 2 dozen+ group. The food was amazing, my son had the burger which was juicy and had a nice gourmet bun. The nachos with green chile and picked onions was a perfect share item over drinks and Girl dinner. Steak and lobster looked amazing; kids were well fed!!

Live music, sports bar meets steakhouse atmosphere, with excellent service. What's not to love? Does it Rock? Or does it Flop? As a local, it's hard to find places that really rock, here in Henderson. So many hit the mark kn atmosphere, but Flop when it comes to quality of food. This place, to my surprise, definately rocks! Between the awesome drinks (highly recommend the Tequila Honey Bee), the delicious appetizers, and mouth-watering main courses, BLVD is one of my new favorite local "hot spots." We had such a great time with our friends, watching college ball (five BIG TVs keep you up-to-date on your favorite teams) that I completely forgot to take pictures. Let's just say the food was delicious...because NOTHING was left on our plates. Tons of seating, bar seating and great for large groups. TVs and LIVE music will keep you and your friends entertained when the conversation doesn't. Street parking and a parking lot behind the restaurant are available, if you aren't walking. Swing by, and give this place some love...

What a gem! A cute little place tucked into water st. The restaurant is clean and very pretty. The service was excellent. We were helped by young lady and unfortunately don't remember her name, but she was wonderful. She was tall, slender, and had dark hair. We made it in time was happy hour where they had some popular apps for $5. What a deal in this economy! We ordered the shrimp, cheeseburger egg rolls, and nachos as apps. They were great starters. We also grabbed a steak and the stroganoff. Also fantastic. Couldn't complain about a single thing. Since it was Friday night, a cute 60's girl group sang as live entertainment. They sang at the right volume where we were able to enjoy but loud enough that it would ruin our dinner. 5 stars all around. Highly recommend

    Cheeseburger Eggrolls

The service was AMAZING here. My waiter continuously checked up on me making sure I was good. 10/10!! I was seated right away. Parking was easy since they have their own parking lot. The resturant was also decorated nicely and the chairs were comfy. Food overall was okay but the service really made everything better. Street corn nachos 7/10: I think the chip to cheese ratio needs a bit of improvement. I was left with a lot of chips left behind. The onions that came with the dish was the best part about it. It rly helped balance the heaviness of the dish and my other appetizer I got. Cheeseburger Eggrolls 7/10: the first bite was rly good but then I encountered the oil dripping from the eggroll. The taste was there but it was a bit too oily for me. The sauce it came with was like a cheesy sauce but for me it was a bit too heavy already for that extra sauce. I preferred ketchup with it. The Eggrolls really do taste like a cheeseburger in eggroll form lol. Overall the food I tried today was okay but the service was exceptional. I would def come back to try their lunch special menu which I beleive is about $12. This place is so affordable and it's def worth a try!!

They have a pretty extensive drink menu and the bar tender was very knowledgeable about the wine. I asked for a red that wasn't too dry and he recommended a delightful wine that was more on the sweet side and not too dry. My friend ordered a very dirty martini and she said it was perfect. They have a small selection of food including a Charcuterie Plate, Baked Brie & Fig Preserves, Mixed Nuts & Marinated Olives, Caprese Salad, 3 types of pizza, and Chocolate Lava Cake to satisfy a sweet tooth. We ordered the Charcuterie Plate and were not disappointed. The only downside to this space is that it is a little confined inside, and once it is full of people, it gets a little noisy. Other than that, great place for a casual drink or two and a snack.

In 2022, they had the best Crab Bucatini, everything was great including the service. Fast forward to 2026, we were surprised that the restaurant wasn't full. The service wasn't on point as it was in 2022. I was really looking forward to the Crab Bucatini, I didn't realize they changed their recipe. In 2022, they had a lemon butter sauce which complimented the crab well. 2026 they added tomato sauce to the recipe and it wasn't as good. No wonder it was not marked as best seller. Plus, the crab pieces were less, and 3x I bit into crab shell. I told the bus boy who cleared the plate, he apologized but the server was not informed. The complimentary focaccia was not as good as 2022. Calamari, the batter was thinner and lacked flavor. Not sure what happened, but what I am learning is that when I find a restaurant that is really good, I shouldn't come back anymore years later because I will just be disappointed. I'd rather keep the good memories of the first time alive. Photos from 2022 and 2026 for context.

Stopped by this coffee shop in the Water Street District on a Friday mid-morning, and had a nice…read moreexperience overall. Parking was easy. There's plenty of street parking and nearby lots. I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

They just seem to know what makes coffee Work…read more Public Works is a coffee bar that has called Henderson's Water Street home for years and years. I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.

I've always been a fan of the Chinatown location, so while I was in the Henderson area, I decided…read moreto check this one out--and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere feels very familiar, with the same stylish décor, dramatic wine wall, and unique light fixtures that give the restaurant its modern, upscale feel. Most importantly, the food was just as consistent as the original location. I was especially excited to see they offer a happy hour menu. We ordered the Garlic Green Beans, Lobster Yum Takrai, and the Dok Lamaii specialty cocktail, which was refreshing and beautifully balanced. From the regular menu, we also ordered the Crab Fried Rice and Mango Crispy Catfish--both dishes arrived beautifully presented and full of texture, color, and bold ingredients that made each plate stand out. Service throughout the evening was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. If you're in the Henderson area and craving elevated Thai cuisine in a stylish setting, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Gave this place a shot because we saw they had crispy duck on the menu and personally I like this…read moreplace better than lotus of Siam! The vibes here feel more casual in the sense of the wait staff is friendlier and feels more like a mom and pop shop, vs at lotus it feels more corporatey (not sure if this makes sense) and they try and push you out asap to get more people in. This location has plenty of parking. We came on a Saturday night and were seated right away. Ordered: Tom kha 3/5 - nothing crazy just decent soup, wasn't as creamy as id like tbh, felt more like a straight tom yum. Crispy cat fish on mango salad 3/5 - good to share, some pieces a bit too fatty from the catfish Pad see ew upgraded to crispy prawns 5/5, decent amount of crispy prawns, fried to perfection. Just like lotus not much difference. Lobster noodles 5/5, definitely get again! A more like beer batter on the lobster. Good amount of lobster and personally i like these noodles better! Crispy duck panang 5/5, duck was crispy and meat was tender, not dry at all. Green beans 4/5 - a little sweet and garlic. The sauce on these were good. Some green beans were a tad bit under cooked. Maybe fry it for 20-30 more seconds imo.
