We did a double date for happy hour at BLVD Grille and let me just say that although I love this place for lunch, the happy hour experience just wasn't there for me. If you're looking for just food specials, you're probably going to be very happy with what is on the menu - affordable bar food that is pretty darn tasty. However, if you're looking for drinks to accompany that food, I hope you have better luck than I did. It took four different drinks to finally find something I felt was edible and the waitress didn't seem to pick up on the fact that I was ordering something new after a couple of sips of something I wasn't drinking any longer. I tried the mule, the red sangria, the house margarita, and then tried to order an espresso martini (not on HH menu, but I was just about over it at that point) and they didn't have ingredients for the espresso martini :( BUT I then resorted to the pineapple blueberry margarita which was heaven in a glass. The onion straws are so tasty, the cheeseburger eggrolls taste exactly as you'd imagine, but the star of the show here is the chicken parm! It's listed on the menu as spicy, but I don't do spicy and I don't find this to be spicy at all. I tell everyone about this - they have a wonderful lunch menu including $12 chicken parm. My sister and I asked to split the dinner portion and we were surprised at the extra effort they put into actually splitting it onto two plates for us - I feel like lately, restaurants hear that and just bring you an extra plate to do it yourself. I really appreciated that extra touch. It ended up being just as delicious as you'd expect. The service was fine, nothing special, but nothing bad. Check them out if you're in the area! read more

My rating is based on the food experience. I requested my rib eye steak be cooked medium. I was given a bad cut cooked well done. It was probably the worst steak I've ever had. This is the first time I've never finished a steak in a restaurant. I should have sent it back to the kitchen. The waitress/service was overall good. read more

The ladies working there had much more energy and were more pleasant. Howdy and happy 2025, this place came onto my radar thanks to a family member. The layout is nice, the booths are cozy but what keeps me coming back is the service . Whether it's the hostess, waiters or waitresses. I'm always pleased with the prompt and friendly service. For the menu , I usually hit up the happy hour menu (mon-Fri) 3-6. Which features some great bar food staples, my favorites being the wings and cheeseburger egg rolls. With most of them being $5 you can't go wrong. It's not too far from the house, so my wife and I go here quite often. If you like the Water Street area of Henderson, this place is a must. I've had almost everything on the menu, and my ONLY disappointment was the Fish and Chips on one occasion. Always a friendly staff, excellent food and drinks. They are open for breakfast as well, so if you like Steak and Eggs, it's great at 16.00 dollars I believe. The side potatoes are worth it alone !!! Definitely a restaurant staple of ours. read more

This place used to be Hardway 8. As BLVD grill they amped up the decor, drinks and food. We came here for my friend's birthday and we made it to happy hour which is M-F 3-6pm. I ordered Moscow mules off of the happy hour menu. They were good but a little light on the alcohol. The appetizers on the happy hour menu were yummy! The onion rings were light and crispy, the shishito peppers were super flavorful with the soy based dipping sauce, the buffalo chicken wings were as you'd expect but my favorite were the cheeseburger roll ups and the elote nachos (not pictured because we devoured them). We always ask to be sat with Maria, she's a great server and super pleasant! They have great dinner options like burgers, sandwiches and a filet or rib eye dinner and you can add a lobster tall to for $10. First time @BLVD Grille, we found it to be a nice addition to Water Street. We arrived Tuesday evening with a reservation although, we didn't need one. This cozy spot was virtually empty. Part of the PKWY Tavern & George @Durango group the BLVD Grille offers a small menu with something for most everyone. We started with a couple of ice cold drafts & espresso Martinis. Appetizers: 1. BEER-BRINED CHICKEN WINGS w/Buffalo sauce- VERY GOOD! 2. ONION RINGS Hand-breaded with chipotle ranch dressing- Very good. Dinner: 1. HERB-CRUSTED SALMON SALAD- This Salad is excellent! *I'll return for this salad. 2. STEAKHOUSE BURGER- nice decent burger, nothing to complain about. Been wanting to try this place out. First off, the interior is very warm, inviting and beautiful. Love the party room for special events. Tonight someone was celebrating their 50th birthday. We ordered the onion rings and shrimp appetizers. Both were good but I thought the onion rings tasted amazing. My daughter ordered shrimp scampi, hubby ordered a wedge salad and the chicken tenders meal. I ordered the filet with a lobster add on. Shrimp scampi was good, salad was amazing and the steak plate was great!! The flavors were amazing. The lobster tail was awful. It wasn't cooked and the butter tasted really bad. It was a strange flavor. It wasn't a clarified butter but soupy looking. I told the manager and she took the add on charge off our bill. WOW. Absolutely loved throwing a party here! We threw a bridal shower in their front private room, and we just had the best time! The service was phenomenal, and the staff was really great when working with us, from start to finish. We chose the menu before hand when establishing the contract, and we were able to bring in some table decor for our event. The food was fantastic, but my favorite was the cheeseburger egg rolls!! A MUST try. The private room has windows dividing you and your party from the general seating, but you're far enough away from guests that you feel like you have the entire place to yourself! Cannot recommend enough to book a small gathering here! We comfortably fit 14 of us at the table. I will be back to try their regular menu, and enjoy the weekend live music! read more

This building has housed multiple bar restaurant concepts over the years and we were unaware of this new one. They did a great job redecorating the inside and it has that dimly lit "speakeasy" vibe. We were strolling down water street and noticed the new mural and sign, it also happened to be happy hour (bonus for us). We sat at the bar and the bartender was fantastic right from the start (and she was floating between two different bars). We ordered a local beer from Mojave brewing (the brewery and taproom are right down the street) and three Happy Hour appetizers; wings, nachos and cheeseburger egg rolls. The concept of the nachos was good but it lacked cheese, the bartender quickly remedied the situation and brought us out a side of the cheese sauce (she said there was a new cook in the kitchen). The cheeseburger egg rolls were served up hot, had great flavor and a tangy dipping sauce. The wings were crispy but the sauce seemed to be drizzled on rather than tossed in, but the flavor of the sauce was good. We enjoyed our experience, the service was top notch, the food was good and a great price at happy hour; we'll be back. read more

Our 1st visit to Blvd Grill (hereafter BG) would have been about 14 months ago and frankly, we were disappointed. The restaurant layout is an open floor dining area, a gaming bar on the left side of the floor and another bar with less gaming stations on the right. We prefer sitting at the bar but don't gamble, so we choose the bar on the right side and non-gaming seats on this visit. We prefer bar seating as you usually get better service. On our that visit we encountered a lady bartender that was, in our opinion, a little gruff and inattentive but we thought maybe she was having a bad day and let it go. We ordered a couple of drinks and noticed they had "thick cut onion rings" - one of our favorites. What we received was onion straws, like you see on casseroles. We thought maybe there was a mixup, so we questioned the bartender. She advised that was their version of onion rings. Stop the presses! These are not onion rings - these are greasy, breaded onion toppings that go on other dishes. We ate a couple of handfuls that would have horrified our Cardiologist and left the rest. The bartender didn't show any interest or concern as we finished our drinks and left, vowing never to come back. Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2025. Even though we are close to a major travel destination, not many places in Henderson offered a Thanksgiving dinner. We decided to give BG another try and made reservations for dinner. They did not offer meals to go and so we knew we'd be dining inside. On our way to the restaurant, we encountered someone we knew and she advised BG had denied her entry because they were full and she didn't have a reservation. Not really our problem but we thought it was odd. We entered BG and the dining room was about 1/2 full, the gaming bar had about 8 people and the right hand bar had 2 customers gaming. We told the hostess (very nice) that we would take a non-gaming seat at the right bar. She seated us and we reviewed the menu but had already decided on the Thanksgiving special. When the bartender came back to the bar, the previous experience came rushing back to us as it was the same young lady as before. She asked if we wanted a drink and we ordered drinks. She brought the drinks but did not ask us anything about food and left the bar. After a few minutes, a gentleman sat down about 4 seats away and it was obvious most of the Staff knew him as they came over to speak. The bartender returned, walked past us and greeted the gentleman. As she was walking away, we stopped her and advised we'd like to order dinner. Again, there are only 5 of us at her bar. She seemed shocked but took our order and again, disappeared. After a few minutes our Thanksgiving dinner was delivered by a runner and it looked delicious. However, there was no gravy on the stuffing or mashed potatoes. Don't get us wrong, the food was amazing but we needed gravy. We noticed the lone gentleman ordered the Thanksgiving dinner also and flagged down one of the other servers and asked for gravy. They went to the kitchen and came back with him a saucer of gravy. After waiting, the bartender came back, again went right by us and talked to the gentleman. As she started to walk by us without checking yet again, we stopped her and asked for gravy and a couple of glasses of water. She went to the POS terminal, entered something and brought us some water. She advised "The gravy will be coming out". No how is everything - is there anything you need - NOTHING! After a few minutes, a young lady came out of the kitchen with a saucer of gravy and now, we can enjoy our dinner. We also noticed that the other servers stayed away from the bar area and didn't interact with our bartender. (Having worked in a restaurant before, we notice these things) As we were just about finished, the bartender came back, blew by us and was talking to the gentleman. They discussed several other service personnel that we knew from other establishments. Then my wife overheard the bartender say "She had gotten so drunk the night before so she could just get over having to work Thanksgiving Day". Well, that certainly explained the non-existent service and I Could Care Less attitude. At this point, we had finished our dinner and understood desert came with the meal. As the bartender walked by, we stopped her and asked about the desert. She seemed shocked and said "Yes, it is included - do you want it?" We ordered the pie and ate it as fast as we could thinking we need to getouta here. BUT WAIT..... We stopped her again and asked for our bill. Imagine our surprise when we noticed she had charged us $1.00 for the saucer of gravy. (See pic of the bill) And the food was excellent - that's the only reason we're giving 3 stars. But charging us for a saucer of gravy that frankly should have been on our plate to start with is an insult. Came here for dinner and to watch a game on a quiet Tuesday night. Service was prompt. Draft beers just $5 for American. Ordered a nice wedge salad. Roast chicken panini and fries was pretty good for $12. Mozzarella panini and fries was also pretty good. The menu had steaks, pork chops and lobster on it but this really is a sports bar so stayed away from those items. I grew up in old Henderson and was curious to check out the restaurants and breweries on Water Street. The BLVD Grille was my first stop The open area dining room decor is dark wood, dim lighting and an industrial contemporary feel. There was a solo guitarist playing music throughout the meal and he was awesome. Songs ranged from 90s R&B, Rock, pop, etc. Great stuff. Our server was friendly and and helpful with menu suggestions. Cheeseburger Eggrolls - I love this appetizer matchup and the eggrolls were especially cheesey which I appreciated. Herb Crusted Salmon - The bff ordered this was scarfed it down quickly. 14oz NY Strip - Cooked to a perfect medium rare as I requested. The pricing on this NY Strip gave great value. Berry Panna Cotta - A small serving but still done well. We enjoyed our first visit at the BLVD Grille. The casual vibe was relaxing and pricing is a discount imo for the dishes we received. The inconspicuous white concrete building with a bright yellow door made me wonder if I was in the right location, but I was! Once inside, BLVD Grille has a warm, cozy concept, we were seated quickly by a friendly and welcoming hostess, and Claudia, our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We started with The Betty, a fun twist on the original Aperol Spritz, and a local craft beer. We then ordered onion rings and wings for apps. The onion rings were thin, more like onion straws or the type that might go on a burger, but so delicious! The buffalo wings were tasty as well with cold refreshing blue cheese dip. We then had their steakhouse burger and BLT. Both were wonderful. The burger was cooked exactly as requested and the BLT was unique in that it comes out on a soft toasted focaccia with arugula and a tasty spread. They also have an amazing brunch and dinner entrees. I was a little apprehensive coming here because we loved the old place so much. This is def more of a sit down place but they do have a bar area if you want to just have some drinks. The server was great, very friendly and did a great job checking up on us. The atmosphere is def more in the midday side. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious! The old Hardway 8 on Water Street is now Boulevard Grill. We came here for a late lunch on Saturday and were seated right away. I started with the lavender Moscow Mule, which was perfection. We both decided to have a steak burger for our meal. It was very good and reasonably priced. There was a phenomenal musician playing in the front room of the restaurant.
