We also ordered the cheese stick dumplings - which are impossible to describe, but they are delicious so just get them! The food here is tasty, but for the price, I wouldn't say that the main entree was worth it. I paid $26 for the eggs Benedict and was still hungry afterwards. I had to order truffle fried to go in order to supplement. The truffle fries were great and the portion was good for the price. The banana bread matcha was delicious as well. The service was good. Service was phenomenal! Made a mid morning reservation for Sunday morning and arrived a bit early- got seated with no issues. Sat indoors but patio seemed like it would still be good even on a chilly day as they have heaters around the patio. Be aware parking is on side of street or small parking lot up the street. Lavish London tea was so yummy! The crème brûlée French toast was so thick and moist! Perfect caramelization on top. Egg were buttery and fluffy. However besides having great food they really blew my mind and warmed my heart . My daughter's friend has been going through a really tough time. She's a high school senior currently experiencing homelessness, and her mom wasn't able to celebrate her birthday this year. As someone who runs a nonprofit, I reached out to a few restaurants hoping someone could help make her day special. When I tell you Blush was the most accommodating, sweetest place, I mean that from the heart. They didn't hesitate. They provided a gift card so she could enjoy a birthday brunch with her siblings and a few friends and that meant everything to her!! They made her a cake and knew her name !!! I already loved coming here the vibe is always on point, the outdoor music is a whole mood, and the brunch is amazing. But seeing them show up for one of my girls like that? It made me love them even more.Everybody deserves to be celebrated, especially on their birthday and especially a young lady doing her best and staying strong through hard circumstances. My friend and I came back last weekend for a round of brunch and it was just as fantastic as it was when we went earlier this year. It was the hostess's first day and she was so sweet but a little nervous. My friend and I encouraged her and reassured her she was doing a phenomenal job. Our waiter was also great. He checked in on us frequently, and we accepted his suggestions when recommending sides of Billionaire Bacon. Richard had the Mac and cheese and while it was a smidge on the salty side, it was very unctuous and comforting. I had the King William's Benedict (and the waiter called me Queen Willy! Love that!) and Holy Cow that had to be some of the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. The meat? Nostalgic. Reminded me of my dad cooking fajitas on the grill. Do they use chicken fajita seasoning or chupacabra seasoning? Who knows, it tasted like home. The bread soaked all that deliciousness and the eggs were perfectly runny. I was in heaven. Once I recovered, I was sent straight back to heaven by the carrot cake latte. The ambiance was lovely. Surprisingly not terribly busy for a Saturday morning, though a large table did get seated next to us in the latter half of our visit. No complaints though. Oh, and I was surprised by the price. It came with Hollandaise and a Spicy Soy sauce that were great touches to the dish. We had a big party and the service was also amazing and very tentative. Food did not match description in menu. The waiter went to ask and was told they hadn't updated the menu we thought we were going to get 2 beef and 2 pork trompo skewers. I'm allergic to ginger and our toast with goat cheese had a spice that has ginger. Our main plate the tater tots tasted like grits and were grainy in the inside. The tomatoe jam was horrible and the cronut was soft and greasy. The drinks with the exception of the Bloody Mary were the best thing there and they need to work on the plumbing the inside where the bathrooms are smelled like sewage. read more

I had a phenomenal experience at this beautiful restaurant. The service was great from the start and all the food was delicious. Starting off with the season special ox tail with sweet potatoes it was a 10/10 great flavor, and texture I would recommend to give it a try. It was a unique flavor combo and I loved how the meat just falls apart. The other meal I ordered was the chicken and craffle, and once again 10/10 by far the best waffle I've ever had. It's a croissant waffle with perfect crisp edges and flakes all through out. The chicken was also delicious it had crispy skin and still moist in the center and the syrup was a rich flavor that combined the meal perfectly. I also had the wagu sausage and billionaire bacon. Personally wasn't a huge fan not because it wasn't good but it simply didn't stand out too much to me. The sausage was very greasy with a ground beef consistency and strong taste of Italian sausage again not bad but I wouldn't order it again. The bacon was nice it was just a large chunk of bacon. The appetizer I had was the caviar tots. The starter came with square tots with a crisp crust and soft on the inside. On top was a white cream with some sprouts and caviar which were a great addition, next time I think I'll order with some extra sauce because that provided a lot of the flavor to the meal, without it the tots tasted a bit bland. I've also had the Caviar Croffle which is also amazing. The Pastrami Cacio E Pepe was inventive but fell short of expectations. The pastrami was too fatty and not abundant. I am not a fan of their desserts. They all seem to miss the mark. My advice? Get the Caviar Croffle for dessert. It has a hint of sweetness in the sauce as does the Croffle itself. I wanted to give it 3 1/2 because it's not terrible. I had the croffle and chicken, and the croffle was extremely hard. I've never had a croissant/ waffle but that version was not it. The chicken was good and I was recommended add the bacon to it, also pretty good. The place itself was beautiful and a really nice vibe and our waiter was also very nice. The drink prices were also pretty decent compared to most places that start at $15 for a drink. I will be going back but next time to test out the bakery and coffee. As a vegetarian, Blush didn't offer a ton of vegetarian options. Basically my options were a heavily breaded sweet main dish, or a spicy Caesar salad. I ended up going for a pastry with a side of over medium eggs (not pictured). I ordered the Everything Bagel Seasoned danish which was a great pastry (I had them warm it up for a bit too which I would recommend!). They were able to accommodate the pork floss on the side for my friend and I to share the spicy tots appetizer. It was great! The tots were crispy and the flavor profile was unexpected & unique! I would definitely order the tots again (even as a side because the texture and crisp were just so good!!). I also have to say our waiter was spectacular! Service was great from the host stand, bakery and table service. we started off with a strawberry matcha latte and the carrot cake latte and both were so delicious. We had the caviar and tots for an app and the tots were cooked to perfection chrissy outside soft inside and topped with the caviar just completed the dish. For our main dish I had the chicken and croffle, such an amazing dish the croffle was delicious and the chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. My partner had the Sweet potato oxtail gnocchi (a seasonal dish) and loved every bite! After a downtown children's event we thought we would try the food. At first seemed like the restaurant was not receptive to seating parties with children however we were wrong. Definitely not a child friendly venue, however the staff does try to accommodate. Atmosphere casual & laid back, loud music and a lot of ongoing conversations. Noticed that the outdoor seating had little table fans to move the flies away! I wish every outdoor venue had this little fan. Now on to the food. I can't stress how amazing the fresh bread basket was. I'm talking, the bread slaps! The tater tots unusually square but the crunchiest & tastiest tater tots ever. We could not get enough of the carbs! The burger was pretty standard, nothing extraordinary. In hindsight we should have stuck with bread products such as French toast. We got there early so just sat at their bar and had a drink and an appetizer and I had to try a croissant as they looked so fresh. Their cocktail list was amazing and I loved the names of each one. Lots of seafood stuffed into this hearty eggy dish. Never had it like this so was nice to try something different. So full of texture and great flavor. Delicious. My friend had the king William Benedict with beef tips . This was certainly a hearty dish . But was again a big hit. The egg again cooked perfectly and this was a definite unusual Benedict. We had the spicy tots for the table. Wow these are nut your average potatoes. Whiskey soy and pork floss and togaroshi and spicy ranch. Abundance of flavor. Great side. Rounded out with a cappuccino. This was a heart heavy brunch for sure and every bite was delicious and unusual. I love that I was able to find this spectacular place online before we got to town. Highly recommend a reservation. She had such a warm personality and made us feel welcomed without hovering--attentive in all the right ways. Let's talk food. We started with the bread basket and chose the version with pastries, which includes the chef's pastry of the day. Lucky me, it was a strawberry danish--and I love danishes. The bread was incredibly fresh, served on this cool Monkey plate that immediately gave White Lotus vibes (if you know, you know). It came with three dips: classic butter, berry jam, and a sweet/spicy golden butter sauce. I'm usually the jam lover, but this time my girlfriend was the one begging for more--it was that good. We also split the breakfast sandwich, which is definitely share-worthy unless you show up hungry hungry. We swapped the tots for the truffle fries again--had to relive that magic. And yep, fries were just as crispy, fluffy, and flavorful as before. The sandwich? Chef's kiss. Stopped by for brunch at Blush and had a great time! The staff starting at check in was very friendly. Servers we passed up on the way to our table all welcomed us. Server Miranda took great care of us! She was very attentive, friendly, and funny. The mimosa set up was good. Tried with orange, pineapple, and peach. Ordered the breakfast charcuterie board. Everything on the board was great! I'm a fan of salmon, so I enjoyed the cured salmon. I especially liked the croffle and the bacon jam. I guess good bacon does make everything better :) The Southtown Brekky was delicious. The eggs were done just as requested and were great on the toast. Tater tots had good flavor. Once again, have to mention the bacon (billionaire bacon). It had great flavor. Could have probably eaten a slice or two on its own with a croffle. :) If you are a fan of salmon as I am, I think you will enjoy the Cravalax. It was nicely sliced and the flavor of the fennel and the fried capers went well with the cravalax and the poached egg on the toasted croissant. The toasted croissant was delicious! Slightly crunchy on the outside, but warm and soft on the inside. So, good part is that speed of service and the atmosphere was good. I'm not a brunch expert, but I enjoyed it a lot more than some of the places I have been to for brunch in Austin (and appreciated that it was not at the Austin price). Bad part is that because it is in Southtown, so parking is not the greatest (as in, no lot). Park on street, or walk a bit to find a parking lot to pay for parking. I lucked out and found a street spot because I arrived a bit early. As the time got closer to 11am, there were definitely a lot more people arriving. I had a reservation and after seeing how big the crowd gets, I recommend making a reservation. I don't normally go to places in Southtown because of parking, but I am definitely going back to Blush. I saw other people with the Creme brûlée French toast and it looked delicious. I also want to try the King Williams Benedict. Miranda said she recommends that one. I've been seeing a lot about Blush on instagram and socials so I was excited to try it. We planned a summer staycation, made a reservation for a Friday morning. We were seated promptly and we were happy to see it was happy hour at 11am so we ordered drinks and the Peach Toast as soon as we sat down. We got our food and drinks and that was where the meal turned. When the rest of our table arrived. The waitress/service was super slow! We were here for brunch and we made nice with the waitress but by the time it took for the drinks to come out...was like pulling teeth. We made it clear we were there for the drinks and while they were tasty I'm glad we were paying happy hour prices! We ordered food. It was fine. Nothing I'd write home about. But to get any condiments...good luck!! We were pretty much done eating before we could get any ketchup or hot sauce. We split a meal and did not get a separate plate. The Million dollar Bacon was as thick as beef jerky! After our meal, we walked in to the bakery. The flies that were all over the baked goods was gross. I'm not sure if the food that is out is to serve or to show, but hopefully the latter! All and all if you are there for the "gram" good luck but I won't be returning to enjoy the food. read more

We went on a date brunch and couldn't have been more happy about our choice! Thaddeus was our server and he gave us amazing recommendations from the cocktails and coffee to the pastries and food. We got the bread basket and ended up with an almond croissant and a berry danish as our pastries. They were SO buttery with a crispy outer shell. I highly recommend trying the butter that they make in house. They have a whipped butter, spicy butter and jam, ALL of them were good but my favorite was the spicy honey butter. I am a little late with my review, as I came here about one month ago, so I do not know if my pictures are an adequate representation of their current menu, but better late than never. The service and food were both good. We had a reservation set at the time of restaurant open, so it wasn't busy at all! I was actually shocked, considering it was Mother's Day. I found everything to be good about the experience. I did find it odd that they informed us as they were taking us to our seats, that we had to be out of our seats within 1.5 hours for the next reservation. We definitely didn't plan to take that long to eat, nor did we, but it was a little odd. I felt the menu was designed to be very "instagram" and "age of social media" focused with lots of attention to detail on the plating. The price seemed a little high for the quality of food, but the food was good. The eggs were fluffy and buttery, the hash browns/potatoes were crispy little squares, and the bread we ordered as an appetizer seemed homemade. I knew that I wanted to go somewhere special for my birthday breakfast. After some research I decided on Blush. I smiled as I walked through the beautiful, greenery-covered arches in the alleyway towards the entrance. The little girl in me that loved The Secret Garden movie was happy. If the friendliness of the service hadn't already won me over, the elegantly decorated restaurant certainly would have.
